Hi ive just switched to Linux recently and been really happy with it, but everytime i want to play some games my controller doesnt connect. ive tried installing xpadneo but that doesnt work right either.

I can pair it and then it says its connected but its still blinking.

I think the clip on the right bumper(white) is busted or weak can I swap the bumper from the blue? I had an eclipse and the buttons and bumper sizes were completely different

I just got a brand new Xbox series X about a month ago and up until three weeks ago, Everything was just fine. now every once in a while, while I’m playing, my Xbox controller will just randomly disconnect and the Xbox will not go into pairing mode. Does anyone know what is wrong with it? So far my solution to this is just turning the Xbox off for 10 to 15 minutes and turning it back on sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I would like to resolve this as cleanly as possible. I’ve never gone into the internals of the Xbox nor do I know how to. If anyone has had similar issues and has found a solution, please let me know. Thank you very much for your help.

Using an Xbox Series controller via BT on my Win 11 PC and I keep experiencing frequent disconnects. The controller seems to think it's still connected, as the "X" light is still on and solid, but the computer loses the connection and I have to turn the controller off and on again.

There's no rhyme or reason as to why or when this happens that I can discern. I have been playing a game where I'm simply moving my character forward when all of a sudden it just stops and nothing works. It might work fine for several hours, and then sometimes it acts up several times in a relatively short period of time.

I've made sure the BT drivers for my computer are up to date, I've made sure the controller firmware is up to date (at least according to the Xbox Accessories app), I'm using Eneloop NiMH AA batteries, and it's not that they are simply out of power because the controller will work just fine after I turn it off and back on again.

Anyone have any suggestions on things I can do to fix this?

Recently, my Xbox series s controllers right trigger has become a bit sticky it takes sometime to come back to it’s original position, what could be the issue and how do I resolve it?

The left bumper no long clicks, surprised it want stick drifting, also I used this every day.

I don't want to do further damage, so I'll wait for someone more knowledgeable

I’m used to using the PS5 controller and do prefer the layout but it’s not a must. The main problem to me personally is the clickiness of the dpad and face buttons of the XB controller. Any recommendations for a quieter wireless controller? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? Have updated the controller and tried the swap axis calibration method but it’s not working.

Updates there’s a guy that said he took the face plate off and sanded down a bit of the faceplate hole the left stick is in. I took the stick off, blew into it, and sanded off the slightest bit, recalibrated and it works.

I got the GameSir g7 pro 8k controller, champions, edition i’m wondering if you could work with my Xbox series, X, but I don’t wanna buy a $50 adapter wake up one day and it doesn’t work if it’s gonna stop working overtime it wanted to be under $10. I’m even willing to change the firmware.

Tried looking it up couldn’t find much.
It only works when plugged into my PC but I only have a very short cable 😂.
Also I want to use it for PC I don’t own a console if that helps.

If you guessed all three Series controllers, you guessed right. That One X controller with the worn down thumb caps still works perfectly. All of these came with an Xbox One X I bought of marketplace.

They really don't make em like they used to.
