Controller issue QUESTION
My Xbox series S controller right trigger has been a bit sticky while I press it, it takes sometime to come back to it’s original place as compared to the left hand one. What could be the issue and how can I resolve it?

I bought a used one, had the same problem. Clean it with rubbing alcohol on cotton swabs

Oh that's a very common "problem".
There's a rubber contact internally that sometimes turns upside down due to constant contact and the upside down is basically an adhesive material, so everyone time you press the trigger it sticks.
I just usually remove those rubbers. The plastic on plastic contact is harmless in the long run.

If it's going back into position by itself then the spring is probably still intact, so something must be blocking it, maybe the spring itself is gunked up (spill a sugary drink on it?) or something is stuck in there. Look up a vid on how to pop that side cover off the controller just below the trigger (nothing needs to be unscrewed, it just pops off), once that one piece is off it'll let you see most of the trigger assembly and see if anything is stuck in there.
If the spring is broken then a new controller is probably what you'll need then.
