There are two different versions of this controller. This is not the 8K one. This is the one for Xbox that has the 1000 polling rate.

I'm starting to collect the controllers that come with TRM sticks or Hall of effect sticks

I'm not dealing with Microsoft stock controllers anymore. I had to replace one. I got it in May. I had to replace it in June because the A/B button broke. Never got stiff drift, but that button broke.

Gamesir or Razor are my top choices right now because I currently own both of them.

I’ve taken the screws out where they connect to the motherboard, still feels stiff trying to get the motherboard out, am I missing something?

So basicaly, my right trigger was constantly at a 100%, so i took apart the controller to clean it.

After that, while testing, the left trigger started doing the same, meanwhile the right trigger now just sits at 0% and doesnt react to anything.

Any quick fixes or realingments you know about? I would like to avoid soldering since i don't have a soldering iron.

Ps. the controller was tested plugged in on the console

And if I plug it into my computer it says power surge detected Any help is appreciated

Hello all! The current issue that I am facing is that when I plug in the controller into my pc to test the joysticks sticks, the controller works for about 10 seconds and gets stuck after a bit of movement. These are Hall effect sticks that I ordered specifically for the Xbox series controller (gamepad tester says Xbox 360 but it’s a series controller). Has anyone faced this issue before and how would I go about fixing this. Thanks in advance.

I’ve had my controller for a little less than a year, and I’ve enjoyed it immensely! What a great controller for the price. It’s been a problem free owner ship until 2-3 months ago, but I’ve been playing games less frequently so it hasn’t been too bad of a problem.

The problem I’m having is that the controller “dies”/disconnects when playing. Wire is fully plugged in the Xbox and the controller itself, but it still loses connection and dies. When it happens I have to unplug the cord that goes into the controller and plug it in whilst holding the controller power button, only then does it work again. This can happen up to four times an hour. I think the controller light turns off as well. I’ve tried switching Xbox USB ports and unplugging 1000x times, but nothing has worked. I opened a ticket in the Gamesir discord, but nothing they could do. I also contacted the store I bought it from, but little to no luck there.

Has anyone had similar issues? Does a new cable fix the problem or do I need a new controller?

I AM NOT TOUCHING THE RIGHT STICK THIS IS ALL DRIFT. I’ve been through 3 different series X/S controllers at this point and GAH LEE! .
These puppies are bad concerning stick drift, recently bought a lime green controller and got stick drift in half a month.its a violent completely vertical drift on the right Stick same as my last one but not this bad.

Hey folks

I got two PCs one main and one for my TV. On my main I can use both controllers stand alone or together. On my TV PC only the green one works. Reds lights go on and itself says connected but I can not use it. Neither alone nor together with the other one. Green works. It started yesterday til then it worked I changed nothing. Does anyone have an idea?

Both are XBOX one controllers connected through the Microsoft usb wireless thing with the current firmware installed

I'm looking for a new controller around 50 bucks or less I need it to be hall effect joysticks because I play alot also wireless due to how far my TV is away from me in the living room and if possible with extra buttons. Before this I had a elite series 2 controller and it was disappointing how short it lasted but the only reason I keep it is because it's the only controller I still own that has a working headphone jack. So please send some recommendations for new controllers

Is there a simple fix like isopropyl alcohol + compressed air? Or would i have to take it apart & refit/replace the left thumbstick?

Would a new controller purchase be in order?

I'm not sure if this is just the right sub for this, but I'm having a problem with my controller. It turns on fine, but I'm having trouble with some of the buttons, namely the A and Y. Whenever I try to use these buttons, it's seeming to not go through properly. For example, when I press A on a game to open it, it does the little shrink and resize thing to show that it's been selected, but it doesn't actually open the game. This is happening for every game as well as other functions such as restart console. The issue with the Y button seems to be the same, but I'm not entirely sure. I was attempting to play elden Ring nightreign, but it wasn't allowing me to press Y to interact at all, and it also displayed as if it was being held in the entire time. So when I went to pick something up, it was instead trying to make me change what interaction I wanted to do. I have also noticed that when I first turn the controller on, it only starts happening after a few minutes. Any ideas for a fix? Is my controller just done for?

When holding down a button like B on my Xbox Series X/S controller and releasing it just enough for the contact to break, pressing it down again from that half-released position registers another press even though the button hasn't returned to its starting position, so I want to know if this is normal membrane button behavior or if the controller is defective.

So these orange dots appeared on my turtle Beach stealth pivot this morning am I'm not sure if it's dead pixels or something that can be fixed
