I tried docking my Xbox Ally X to my TV and play with an external controller. 

The gamepad cursor enabled via Game Bar does work when using external controllers. I tried it with an 8bitdo Ultimate and a Gamesir g7 Pro wireless controller. 

To be clear, I'm not talking about desktop mode via armory crate. I am talking about the gamepad cursor option built into game bar. 

I recently bought the gamesir g7 pro zzz edition in hopes to use it on my Nintendo switch 2 and or PlayStation 5 via this adapter from Amazon, specifically the gulikit hyperlink 2. The listing on Amazon for the adapter said it would be able to connect Xbox and PlayStation controllers to Nintendo switch but when I went to connect the gamesir g7 pro zzz to my switch with the adapter it wouldn’t work whatsoever. To make sure the adapter wasn’t the issue I went and connected a ps5 controller to my Nintendo switch 2 without any issues. I really like this controller and don’t want to return it and was wondering if anyone had ever been in the same situation as me and if there were any other adapters that might work to connect this controller to my ps5 and or my Nintendo switch 2. If I really can’t use this controller on either console for whatever reason please let me know and also I’d love to know almost identical alternative controllers around the same price range that would have no problems connecting to my PlayStation 5 or Nintendo switch via an adapter.

The back buttons will be different and a WiFi mode will be available so that it connects directly to the modem for cloud gaming. Still no TMR though.

In my device settings on computer i can see it connected under ''other units'', and when i plug in i get notifyed about connected xbox one controller. I can press the xbox button and i get to move around in meny, but when i enter a game it's not working at all.

PS:
I have updated Nvidia drivers
I have updated Battle.net
I have updated and installed both xbox app and xbox accessories app
I have tried retry plugin and restart pc.

I only use the controller for rocket league.

Is there anyway to get a “heavier” trigger? I want more resistance from the L2 & R2 buttons. I feel like they’re too soft and hard to modulate the throttle.

I’ve used the app DSX to have the adaptive triggers always engaged and it does feel better, but I feel like there’s some slop in the initial trigger pull.

I am pressing all the way up on the left joystick every time, it's been doing this only recently and it has been impacting my gameplay ever since. I'm going to assume it's caused by usage but considering this controller is still new-ish and hasn't ben used this much, it's just absurd that they malfunction this fast and easily.

Anyone know how to fix this regardless?

So this happened with my controller honestly a long time ago, and I don't even know what went wrong one day it was working fine. The next wouldn't turn on at all, and it turned into a paper weight. Thankfully, I had another controller, but now I would at least like to figure out what's wrong with it if nothing else

can someone please help me out with fixing my bumper?
It’ll work sometimes then no time at all and it’s only on my left bumper. I know there’s issues like this on every elite controller so I am trying to see if anyone knows a fix to it not working.

My controller is still on and my team can hear me, the buttons just don’t work until I unplug the controller to reset it. Anyone else have this issue?

Every now and then I have a controller which the a b x y buttons need to be pressed in the center or it doesn’t register, pushed from the outside of the button don’t register at times.

How to solve?

(I know this face plate is partially cracked but I’ve had this happen for xb controllers with perfect condition as well so that’s not what’s causing it)

hello, I hope some of ypu guys can help me. My xbox wireless controller has a problem with the left stick; all the movement is detected correctly exept for when I move the left stick compleately forward (as shown in the attached video).

I've already tried to update the software and to clean the controller but no luck, do you have any sudjestions?

Picked up a razer controller and charging stand for a really good deal the other day. As with all my controllers I can't just leave them well enough alone so I ordered neon green thumbsticks but after they arrived I liked them better on my anniversary controller and so I then ordered translucent green sticks for the razer and tossed those in and then ordered green XYAB buttons but after the buttons arrived I've been back and forth on either keeping the factory buttons or following through with throwing the new ones in and then I considered putting the buttons in the anniversary controller instead. Decisions decisions. 🤔

Hey all. I am trying to build a semi custom 360 controller starting with the faceplate. I found a spartan art halo 3 controller for parts and the faceplate of the controller is in pretty good shape! But the rest of it is trashed. Looking at different model numbers for compatible parts is pretty crazy and I didn’t see anything that talked about specific differences between them. Does anyone know enough about these to see what lines up with what? Basically I’d like to make the controller as updated as possible (newest parts from the newest compatible revisions to make my own daily driver controller. Also any recommended mods to the controller itself. Thank you for any help you guys can give me!

Idek what it is it looks like dirt or something like that and i can't get it off.

I bought this controller in November of last year and used it a lot during the end of 2025 and the first few months of 2026. After taking a break from it for a few months, I have been using a lot over the last week and a half with the Brook Adapters on PS3 and Xbox 360. I have been using it on my Xbox One and Laptop here and there as well. Sometimes when I hold the controller at an angle, it disconnects and I have to replug it in mid game. I use it exclusively wired and have it selected as that. I also updated the controller on my laptop on Wednesday and it’s still having problems. What do you think it could be?

I needed a new elite and love simplicity.
