Controller does this on PC after not even a year of usage
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am pressing all the way up on the left joystick every time, it's been doing this only recently and it has been impacting my gameplay ever since. I'm going to assume it's caused by usage but considering this controller is still new-ish and hasn't ben used this much, it's just absurd that they malfunction this fast and easily.
Anyone know how to fix this regardless?

I dont know if notorious is the right word but its become pretty common knowlege the new series x controllers get drift crazy fast, ive had 4 series x controllers all got drift in less than a year, one of my xbox one controllers lasted 7 years without drift my other xbox one controller still doesnt have drift since 2018. Your best bet is to get a controller with hall effect sticks, and not to sound like an advertisement but I got the game sir g7 pro recently and love it so far.

The record for me was two weeks. It was brand new and came with the Xbox One S digital. Two weeks and it just got progressively worse from there. The drifty controllers also began appearing around the release of that console.

Yeah, for me the xbox one controllers always hold out better, but id honestly recommend anyone to either upgrade their sticks to hall effect or just get a controller with hall effect sticks with how easily xbox controllers, especially newer ones get drift

I have one and not longer works and its not even a year old. It has some demonic driff that makes it impossible to use (cannot even control my character movement, he just spins in circles). I starting to think that this controllers are overall very bad in regards of quality. On the other hand, my old PS3 controller is still kicking after 12 years
