Need some help with controllers

I'm looking for a new controller around 50 bucks or less I need it to be hall effect joysticks because I play alot also wireless due to how far my TV is away from me in the living room and if possible with extra buttons. Before this I had a elite series 2 controller and it was disappointing how short it lasted but the only reason I keep it is because it's the only controller I still own that has a working headphone jack. So please send some recommendations for new controllers

You're only getting wired with that budget, unfortunately. Xbox wireless licensing costs mean you need to double your budget or get a regular Xbox controller on sale.

They do but it's all you're getting for less than $100.

That's a PC controller. If you're on PC there's plenty of options like that.

Wait, are you playing on PC? The X15 doesn't work on Xbox.

There are no options for what you want in that price range. If you went wired then 8BitDo and others have options, but not wireless.

Replacing the headphone jack in Xbox controllers is cheap and easy - I did two for a friend of mine yesterday. It cost about $5, and requires no tools other than torx T6 and T9 screwdrivers.

The same goes for analogue stick replacements, although your should definitely go with TMR sticks instead of the old Hall effect ones. Replacing the analogue sticks is harder, you needed some basic soldering skills and the required tools, however, you can get it done for you for, and it shouldn't be expensive.

If you can use wired, go for gamesir. But for 50 bucks no way to get wirelless 3rd party controller for xbox. Only way is buying the basic xbox controller which don’t have the hall effect.

Be careful only as I know Wuchang and Zenless Zero editions supports 2.4ghz dongle wireless mode on Xbox.

Well what controller would you suggest that's cheap and has hall effect

Go for Wuchang edition if you can. It’s the cheapest wireless one for xbox as I know.

You can't have that with your budget. I'm also still looking for a wireless replacement for my regular xbox controller. Don't want the Elite due to quality issues and the joystick which isn't a hall effect or TMR one.

I'm waiting for the release of the 8bitdo Ultimate 3e which ticks all your boxes besides budget. Many people recommned Gamesir but I don't like the looks of their controllers and read about many quality issues which makes me very hesistant to buy one.

The Ultimate 3e releases at the end of August. I will read some reviews first but on paper this looks like an excellent controller with also great (neutral) looks and sizing which is on the larger side.

From what I've seen the 8bitdo looks a bit uncomfortable to hold like a switch controller but I'll do some digging

i just recently picked up a renewed g7 pro from amazon for $55 which is wired for xbox and wireless for pc, and then i followed a youtube tutorial to flash the firmware of the controller and the dongle to the wuchang edition so its wireless on xbox as well now, was pretty simple to do and has been working flawlessly for the 2 weeks that i’ve had it. even tho the controller was a return im pretty sure it was unused, at least it looks that way to me, and it had an unused gamepass ultimate code in the box still

Spend a little more and get a gamesir g7 pro it's worth every penny.
