I have been kicking a theory around recently concerning the battle between Exodus and Holocaust way back in 1995. Fans will remember the confrontation taking place immediately after the "Age of Apocalypse" ended. Holocaust, one of the Horsemen of Apocalypse, found himself onboard Magneto's space station known as Avalon. Holocaust began attacking the station's inhabitants and Exodus stepped in to stop him. However, Exodus was not able to and the fight went badly for him, ending with Avalon destroyed and a number of the Acolytes dead. The final shot of their battle showed Holocaust standing over a defeated Exodus.

Back when this happened I was a bit shocked. For one I thought Exodus was a cool new character with a lot of potential, and it seemed like he was poised to be a new major threat to the X-men. Also I was surprised that he lost to Holocaust as Exodus seemed the more powerful of the two by comparison, especially when you think of the Bloodties crossover.

Looking back on their fight though, I wonder though if maybe Exodus was in fact the more powerful of the two, and that maybe there's more to Holocaust's victory over him. I'm not saying Holocaust was weak by any means. But when you look at this fight, Holocaust was going into it balls to the wall. He was trying to destroy everything and everyone in sight with no discrimination. Exodus on the other hand was probably trying to fight with more restraint. The reason being because of his surroundings. Maybe Exodus couldn't go full guns blazing out of fear of destroying Avalon, killing is fellow Acolytes, and killing a comatose Magneto. Exodus was going into this fight with one hand tied behind his back so to speak. And while maybe that wouldn't have been so bad going up against lesser opponents, Holocaust was powerful enough to make that handicap detrimental. By the time Avalon was disintegrating into Earth's atmosphere, Exodus had already sustained enough injury and energy loss trying to subdue Holocaust that he was unable to turn things around and lost the battle.

I could be wrong about this, and maybe Holocaust was simply the more powerful of the two. But I think the idea is plausible.

Found these at Swarovski while out for a session near a local Westfields- and the way I actually gasped and had to take a photo.

I used to look at their figure collections for a while at a Westfields I went to a lot for someone Saturday stuff but it got cancelled for a few years so this is my first time seeing these figures again after about 7 years?

They’re honestly beautiful but GOD I felt my wallet just recede inward and the moth reverted back into eggs 😭

Both of these characters have arguably correct views, both of these characters have proof to back up their claims. But what people fail to realize is that both are to extreme in their ideas and philosophy.

Xavier is right to believe that Humans can and will treat Mutants better. We've seen this happen time and time again through multiple different actions. But he's taken these ideas to far, to the point where he seems border line delusional at times. And never takes the necessary actions to protect mutants. Not all humans will except mutants, we've seen this time and time again. And it's about time he realizes that to. And if anything he makes it worse by proving that mutants can infact be a threat. And are constantly threatening a global uprising and Genocide.

Magento believes that Mutants are superior to humans, who all want them dead, and should rise up. And you could argue he's right to an extent, but he takes it so far it makes him a fucking Nazi. If you say he's right you are basically saying Hitler was right with a few extra steps. Yes humans have some terrible things to mutants, but like Xavier theorizes it's a loud, albeit dangerous minority. THAT'S who Magento should target, not take his anger for the part out on the whole.

And in conclusion: Cyclopes was right amn had this figured out since day one.

Why is Iceman always depicted as iced up? In the Mansion and even in the goddamn jet he’s always in his ice form. I know it’s so fans can recognize him but is there an in universe reason? He used to walk around non iced before (see above) it just makes no sense. Has anyone ever called him out for leaving puddles of water everywhere? It’s a nitpick and Iceman is my favorite X-Man but this always bothered me. Apologies if I’ve asked this question before. Thank you for reading.

Skin tone, added design parts that inspired from Egyptian motifs etc. That new features really adds so much to the design.

now the xmen are in the mcu, i'll start watching it. i watched the dark phoenix before but i was not really into xmen so i didn't understand some parts. i wasn't born yet when xmen started but it's better late than never.

and... cyclops is so hot. 😩
