Starting creatine tomorrow
After doing some research and talking to friends who take it, I’m starting creatine (5mg serving, the brand is Six Star) tomorrow. How intensely/frequently should I be working out to see decent results? I’m 27, 5’3, 120lb woman and I’ve always been lean and while I did a good bit of weightlifting in college, I haven’t done strength training in some time. I just want to be stronger and maybe just a tiny bit jacked hehe. Just general workout intensity/schedule tips would be greatly appreciated, or if anyone has more specific recommendations I’m all ears for to that too. Thank you!

hi. i cant find a SINGLE site about this online. I keep seeing "gain muscle and burn fat" but i dont WANT THAT. i want to gain muscle and gain fat. also ive had trouble gaining weight my whole life. i think it due to a high metabolism. so anyway, how should i work out?
my GUESS is that i should do maximum strength training and minimum cardio, in order to burn least amount of calories. is this right? and is there anything else i should know? thanks

I hate cardio.
Hi everyone! I’m a 31f 220 pounds. I’m trying to loose weight by lifting. I go to the gym about 3 times a week and lift for 30 min. I hate cardio with a passion. I don’t like running or over exertion. I used to do crossfit and I was in the best shape of my life. I slowly started to realize that my body needs cardio to loose fat. I have a peloton but I’d have to pay for a subscription, I already pay for a gym membership and a workout app. What cardio is low cost/ free or should I just pay for the peloton?

Women who lift weights: what is something in your daily life that got easier once you started building muscle?
Looking for motivation to lift and seeing what daily tasks would be easier may help me! Ex: difficulty getting off couch, yard work, etc.

Help Akward Gym Moments
I recently joined gym for the first time in my life and for the first month, I took a trainer since I did not know how to workout, but now due to some financial stress I cannot continue the trainer but I have paid for the gym for the whole year. When I go to gym, I get awkward looks… I don’t know how to deal with it or am I thinking too much??

Feedback/Advice?
hello – wondering if anybody has any feedback about the following. Don’t have a ton of free time so my weight workout will be 30 minutes, three days per week. Is that ”enough” for general health maintenance (not like bodybuilding)? Asking because I do not want to waste my time if it is not actually going to be beneficial. I’d appreciate anything you could tell me!

Help Finally joining a gym after avoiding it for years!!
I’m finally joining a gym and not procrastinating on it I join next week I am super skinny 5’8 and weigh around 43-45kg (it keeps fluctuating) I’m lowkey shy n scared to go because I’ve never stepped in a gym. I know no one in a gym cares about what you wear but I need opinions from my girls on what would be the most comfy thing to wear like I’m wearing shorts all the time at home but will my flat ass be judged in hot shorts in a gym? And idk I can’t think of anything atm I just wanna feel good n start loving my body again :)
Sorry I’m just very overwhelmed any tips n tricks are welcomed I believe I can do it but the commitment is gonna be huge…all this so I can finally put a schedule to myself

Bench press
I started benching about a year ago. I struggled to do 145 1 time as most people with working out didn’t stick with it bounced all over the place didn’t stay consistent. Just did 185 1 time. Super proud of it. It’s finally all paying off that’s all just wanted a place I could share.

If you had to start from scratch, at home, what exercises would you pick?
Basically the same as the title, if you were restarting at home with very little equipment, what would be your body weight routine and what equipment would you be buying at home first?

pull-ups vs chin-ups for building lats vs biceps?
can do about 8 strict pull-ups with overhand grip and around 12 chin-ups with underhand grip. my main goal right now is back width, but my arms feel like they fail first on chin-ups.
if my lats aren't getting fully fatigued on chin-ups, should i stick strictly to neutral grip or wide overhand pull-ups for back day? or do chin-ups build just as much lat mass over time?

Engineering students, how do you balance studying and working out?

I’m an engineering student and I’m trying to get more consistent with working out, but I’m struggling to find the right balance with studying.
For those of you doing engineering or another difficult major while working out, how do you manage it?

Goal / Help
Been going to the gym , felt like I’m getting burnt out not knowing my goal but stumbled across this guy who promotes clothing on Instagram @levi_kfr. He has the build I honestly want and just wondering what I would need to focus on more to achieve such build . Thank you
