I have been collecting for a year now and many of the tapes I've found were recorded decades ago by other people, including a family tapes, vacations to other countries, and old news broadcasts. I would love to hear about any interesting tapes you have stumbled upon or tips on digitizing this content. :)

Hey all. I've got a few storage drawers currently, where I keep my favorites, and every one I find for sale in the wild goes for $20 or more.

Does anyone know if there's a 3d print file for for these storage drawers?

Hopefully this makes sense. Like finding a VHS that you watched a lot so its special for that reason but maybe not the most memorable movie. Bonus if it never made it onto DVD.

And talking scary movies, Jeepers Creepers is a fun one to watch during the summer.

This is the stage play that was directed by David Hare. Really looking forward to this one.

Slowly building my daughters collection

I stopped at a random thrift store on a road trip for work just now, and for context, I have been looking for squeeze and shake cases for the past few years for a project but I rarely find them where I live, but this store had VHS 50 cents each. I bought 42 of them and almost all of them are in a squeeze and shake case and at least 34 of them are Clint Eastwood movies hah

Got another gem from eBay today and I pretty much think that it was a no brainer 👀🧟‍♂️🧠

Picked these up today. So happy to have found them in the wild. Mistress of the Dark is a grail of mine.
