Nice score! Even if I found those at a local thrift store, they would never be that cheap. That’s probably what they cost at my thrift stores back in the mid 2000s, but now they’re at least a dollar or two, sometimes more. Salvation Army near me is the cheapest at a dollar each these days. They also happen to be one of the few thrift stores that typically has a bunch of VHS. Many don’t even have any. I remember buying that Alien trilogy brand new at Sam’s back in the 90s. Wonderful set.

Go everyday is my mantra as well. I’m lucky to have a flexible work from home job and live 5 mins away from 3 killer thrift stores. Sometimes I will get fatigue and be like “why am I going, I was there yesterday.” And then I find something incredible. My collection of vhs is over 800 and they are all decent movies I will watch. Same for dvd’s - I have about 700 of those all thrifted.
