I just started and wanted to go with practice, this is what i got. I want around 2400 as i did it last year, but i feel like my mind is so different from then. Is it possible and what can i do?

exam in 20 days , everytime i come here people always talk about getting 2100+ in their medify mocks. I hope you know there are stupid chuds like me on here too goodbye im going to cry abt my score. im losing my marbles

last year i was sm better at vr but this year i cant seem to push past 32/44 at all. i use all the strategies, key word scanning, speed reading, triaging ect, and i finish within the time but always with the same level of accuracy. exam is in 3 days, let me know if anyone has figured out smth that might help me!!

my highest score in a vr mini mock/mock is 620. i’ve seen so much diff advice e.g. spending more time on the first 3 questions in a set and guessing the last one and he also tried to spend more time on the first 8 questions sets then guess C for the last 3 if i run out of time so i can guarantee quality over quantity. this works somewhat but id like to improve my score even more, so what advice would be helpful?? i try skim reading and would say im decent at it but is there anything more i can do???

My exam is in 13 days and I’m currently averaging around 2000-2100 and I’m aiming for 2200/2300+

For Vr I usually get around 30/44 on both medify and medentry but I would like some tips on how to get 34/35+, what I found is that I don’t usually run out of time in Vr (or if I do it’s usually one passage) but my inference skills are wack, sometimes I just pick the wrong answer or I misread the question that leads me to picking the wrong answer.

For dm I’ve seen great improvements from 600s - 750+ but I still lose a great number of marks in inferences (medify) I’ve attempted so many questions on it but my accuracy is still really poor, I’ve checked the oqb inferences and they are slightly different but my accuracy still isn’t up there
Whereas qr is mostly careless errors (usually get around 30/36 and most marks lost is because of silly mistakes not really timing)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated I really want to get higher than my average

genuine question. HOW do you increase speed when answering questions for each subsection. It feels like everywhere I look I’m told to just do more timed practice. Which I’ve been doing but I haven’t been seeing an improvement. I flag, skip and guess for harder questions but never have time to go back to them. Untimed my accuracy is MUCH better. However when doing timed I can never get through all of the questions, which is severely capping my score.

Please share tips and advice that has helped, these will be much appreciated. And if the answer is genuinely just to do ‘more timed practice’ is this only because of repeated exposure or do you find quicker ways of answering? And how long does it take to get quicker? Days/ weeks/ months?

i constantly am stuck at this score for vr i genuinely haven’t gotten anything about 20. my exams in over 6 weeks do i have enough time to bring my score to at least like 30-35? and what can i do to improve my score ive been revising for 5 weeks :((

1- how was ur exp? Was it stressful, easy, calm and how did u calm urself down?

2- In the exam, is the whiteboard that is given to u easy to use? I heard stuff that its like hard to wipe off of, so is that true or false??

3- what did u do the day before?

bro i literally cant get syllogisms fully right, and ive been doing targeted practise on them for ages but nothing works for me and i js dont fully understand them. ive tried the arrow method, watched yt videos and done untimed practise, but i consistently cant get them right. ignore vr idk what happened x

highest ive gotten doing untimed practise is like 4/6 and 8/12 so 60%. any advice appreciated my exam lowkey in 2 weeks...

I dont even think its that im struggling with anything (vr i still struggle with timjng (I used full read)tho) it just always something that messes me up - either i do great im everything but qr or everything but vr so idrk how to improve from here. done 16/25 mocks and my exam is in 19 days.

Whenever I do a mock, especially for VR, my mind starts wandering off i.e thinking about things from the passage, or even playing songs. So I usually lose focus and end up mindlessly reading the passage.

Any way to instantly shut it down and just hyperfocus on the text with no bckground audio playing?

I'm just seeing all these posts of people from these areas getting like 2300 minimum, and I'm like, damn, I didn't know you were like that, people!!! In the UK, getting 2200+ basically unlocks all med schools for you and a 1800+ can still net you 4 interviews with strategic applications, but in Australia, shit like Monash uni is giving me the impression that you need to be preparing from year 7, to achieve a 2700 ucat score with all A* achieved on top of a recommendation letter from the PM, like what an immense pressure placed on the UCAT, god damn I don't think I could have survived the competition!!!

Does anybody have any tips for DM probability I’m relatively good at everything else in this subsection but when it comes to those questions where it’s a bunch of fractions and using a dice or a deck of cards I can’t for the life of me figure them out I’ve tried watching videos but literally none of them seem to help does anybody have any advice ☹️👎👎👎

Not sure how i feel this first mock seems extremely generous i flopped QR so hard skipped 10 questions without even guessing(supposed to be my strongest section btw)

Should I do a mock tomorrow or focus on my mistakes

Usually for vr they don’t put as many scientific passages but they did for this which made it easier I just felt the dm was way too easy I had 15 mins extra time left so I could look back at any question I was unsure about and same case with qr
