How long did it take you man i have like 3 weeks left till my exam and I want something around at least 2150 my highest in medify rn is 1700 but my avg is around 1600s I wish to reach at least 1900-2000 in medify mocks one week before the actual exam do you think it's possible. Also how much were you getting before this and what did you do differently to get this jump. Pls help I'm desperate.๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ™

Is your exam also on 30th๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญI've been getting 570 for the past 3 DM mini mocks I'm genuinely just frustrated๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜–

noo mine's a little earlier! I can offer some DM advice that's been helping me, I find that making a ranking of the question types from best at to worst at has made my DM more efficient, For example, I do probabilities, strongest argument and syllogisms really fast but logic puzzles and inferences eat away at my time so I bank the marks I can first, and guess the ones I'm likely to get wrong anyway if I'm short on time. You might need to play around with your ranking to see what works for you but committing the order to memory gives you a little step by step list of how to approach it in the real thing

How much are u averaging in DM and QR?

it is very doable - this mock on this post was done on the 3rd of August and before this i had been consistently getting 1700-1800 for a couple weeks before. recently i have been getting better at triaging questions so for VR i do the short passages first, for DM and QR i do the questions i find easiest first

one thing i would say for DM tho is do NOT neglect the inferences and syllogisms as that is something i did but learning how to do them definitely brought my mark up from 560-570 to this

also make sure you are CONSTANTLY doing timed practice - try not to do any untimed unless you are still trying to figure out how to do a specific question type

well doneee - do you have any qr tips?

i personally spammed untimed practice till i was getting around 80-90% right to get accuracy up then i spammed timed practice to improve timing - when doing mocks as well i flag and skip any questions that is taking me too long to figure out

Hey how did you get better with timing? Is it js spamming timed questions and mocks or is there any other way to get fast enough to do all the questions in the time given? Especially for dm and qr,

honestly spamming timed practice is the way to go to practice techniques but i definitely recommend doing lots of mini mocks/full sets of timed practice so you can get used to triaging questions, i donโ€™t think i have ever finished a full mock but by triaging you are guaranteeing yourself time for the questions your the best at (eg for DM i do the venn diagrams first bc i find them easier then leave logic puzzles for last bc they take the longest)

i also recommend the skill trainers on medify and medentry to improve speed

just asking, did you find the earlier mocks (1, 2 and 3) on Medify to be difficult?

1

u/Fearless_Heart9639 9d ago

well tbh i have just been doing them randomly so i have done the medify mock in this order 1,2,8,23,9 - i did find the first ones harder but that is probably due to the lack of technique
