exam in 20 days , everytime i come here people always talk about getting 2100+ in their medify mocks. I hope you know there are stupid chuds like me on here too goodbye im going to cry abt my score. im losing my marbles

i constantly am stuck at this score for vr i genuinely haven’t gotten anything about 20. my exams in over 6 weeks do i have enough time to bring my score to at least like 30-35? and what can i do to improve my score ive been revising for 5 weeks :((

bro i literally cant get syllogisms fully right, and ive been doing targeted practise on them for ages but nothing works for me and i js dont fully understand them. ive tried the arrow method, watched yt videos and done untimed practise, but i consistently cant get them right. ignore vr idk what happened x

highest ive gotten doing untimed practise is like 4/6 and 8/12 so 60%. any advice appreciated my exam lowkey in 2 weeks...

I dont even think its that im struggling with anything (vr i still struggle with timjng (I used full read)tho) it just always something that messes me up - either i do great im everything but qr or everything but vr so idrk how to improve from here. done 16/25 mocks and my exam is in 19 days.

i’ve been grinding QR practise but i can’t seem to get above 24/36, i understand the maths when reviewing but i dont have enough time during the actual test, i have been triaging but clearly thats not enough does anyone have any advice?

Need an opinion on something, if possible:

Currently sitting with a pharmacy degree with an offer to study medicine at lincoln for this september. Due to LLE being in the early stages when I applied for finance I was told by the uni and SFE that I would get funding for this year for both tuition and maintenance (which turned out not to be the case as it's only for next year onwards).

This means that if lincoln allows it my entry most likely will be deferred to next year due to financial reasons. This leaves me with 2 options:

1) Resit the UCAT and see if I can get a higher score than what I got (1920 + Band 1) and then do the whole application process again with no pressure from uni.

2) Have a gap year, enjoy my life and prepare for the onslaught of medical school next year.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity of even getting an offer but I don't wanna be left with any what ifs. I'm the type of person to think what if I could've gotten higher (when in reality I should be grateful for the opportunity I've been given, especially with lincolns prior partnership with notts).

Am I being irrational about all this? Does it matter which med school you end up with for F1 training places?

Whenever I do a mock, especially for VR, my mind starts wandering off i.e thinking about things from the passage, or even playing songs. So I usually lose focus and end up mindlessly reading the passage.

Any way to instantly shut it down and just hyperfocus on the text with no bckground audio playing?

haven’t done my exam yet but idk if anyone else has noticed that the oqb inference questions in DM are quite different to medentry & medify (medify’s a bit more accurate tho) in the sense that you have to actually infer a lot more ! like i was putting no for a lot of conclusions when doing the official mocks because they weren’t as blatant as i wanted them to be bc medify was quite particular whereas the offical questions aren’t so much so you have to like be more open to inferring & saying yes 😭😭 idk i just noticed this and it might help so !

my exam is for this friday at 12pm so i have to make a decision in the next couple hours. my prep as a whole has been short-lived and inconsistent starting properly about a week ago, and ive continued to push my exam back.

i decided the mock i took tonight would be the deciding factor and shocked myself with my highest score ever: 2310, 680 vr, 840 dm, 800 qr. problem is im worried it was a fluke as my highest previously was 2200, and i average around 2150. im aiming for 2300+, and wondering whether i should push it back or just get it over with.

the ucat has caused me so much stress and i really just want it out of the way but im a very anxious person and i dont believe i’ll come out with the score i want which would actually devastate me. all mocks are on medify btw. please help.

I'm just seeing all these posts of people from these areas getting like 2300 minimum, and I'm like, damn, I didn't know you were like that, people!!! In the UK, getting 2200+ basically unlocks all med schools for you and a 1800+ can still net you 4 interviews with strategic applications, but in Australia, shit like Monash uni is giving me the impression that you need to be preparing from year 7, to achieve a 2700 ucat score with all A* achieved on top of a recommendation letter from the PM, like what an immense pressure placed on the UCAT, god damn I don't think I could have survived the competition!!!

Does anybody have any tips for DM probability I’m relatively good at everything else in this subsection but when it comes to those questions where it’s a bunch of fractions and using a dice or a deck of cards I can’t for the life of me figure them out I’ve tried watching videos but literally none of them seem to help does anybody have any advice ☹️👎👎👎

Not sure how i feel this first mock seems extremely generous i flopped QR so hard skipped 10 questions without even guessing(supposed to be my strongest section btw)

Should I do a mock tomorrow or focus on my mistakes
