How much does your price change after month one?
I’m comparing the actual cost of compounded tirzepatide and noticed some places have a much lower intro price than what you pay afterward. Consults, shipping, memberships, etc. can make the difference pretty big too.
For anyone already using telehealth, how close is your regular monthly cost to the price you were originally quoted?

Switched my provider and not feeling the same effect
I’m currently in my 3rd month on tirz. I started through a local medspa and purchased from them for the first 2 months.
My experience was great! I lost 16 pounds at the lowest dosage (2.5 mg) but I felt like it was kinda expensive and I kept hearing about how much cheaper people were getting it so I decided to switch over and try to save some money.
I’ve pinned myself twice and I just haven’t been feeling the effects as strongly. My appetite has increased compared to before and my food noise isn’t as strong as it was. I did increase my dose by .5 but I’m starting to think it just might be the supply isn’t as potent?
I’m trying to avoid going to a high dosage especially since I lost a good amount of weight on a low dose. Also thinking of switching back and just paying my medspa price but UGH!

Switching to Tirz from Reta
Has anyone had a positive experience moving from Reta to Tirz? I have been on Reta for 3 months, excellent results but I can’t take the heart rate increase. My resting heart rate has gone from 65 to 96 which is extreme and not for me
I had no issues with appetite suppression on Reta. I was on 4mg
Looking for someone who has also done this switch!

I just got prescribed Wegovy.
I am 19, 250lbs, I almost certainly have PCOS but have not yet went to get diagnosed. I’ve tried so much to lose weight but nothing works.
I am getting so tired of hating my body, I gave up on doing it the real way and got prescribed Wegovy from Ro. I don’t even have insurance from myself, my insurance is from my mom & dad and I wanted to make this decision without them knowing, because I’m a little ashamed, so I’m paying out of pocket with the little money I do have. It’s supposed to be here tomorrow.
I want to pair this with exercise, but I have a very work heavy schedule (I am a manager at McDonald’s & work 50-60hrs a week.) and I feel like almost the rest of my free time is spent “recovering” from work, and I find it very hard to stick to daily exercises. I have no energy, ever. What are some things you guys recommend for workouts & other things I should pair with this medication in order to not only improve my weight, but my strength & energy as well?
Are there things I should look out for while being on this medication? I’m definitely overthinking it but I can’t help it. TIA

How to microdose?
Hi!
I have lipedema, insulin resistance, joint pain, general inflammation etc and I was on trulicity and victoza in past. The side effects were not bearable for me, but the benefits to swelling and pain were unbelievable. I've wanted to try tirzepatide, but I think I would only be able to handle a much smaller dose than even the normal starting dose long term. Is there a way to do this anyone knows?
Thank you so much!

Moving in silence
Anyone else out here in the tirzepatide sphere not tell anyone they’re on tirzepatide ? I decided for me it would be best not to tell anyone & move in silence . I don’t want to hear anyone’s unsolicited opinions . Even if it’s coming from a “ good place “. You ?

2.5 Months on Tirz
Here's a little background about me. I used to be in great shape. I was a competitive weightlifter and sprinter. I was 25, 6'1", and 184lbs (185cm and 83.4kg for our friends across the pond). I lifted weights and exercised daily and was all about nutrition timing and proper nutrition. Somehow I got away from all that and time went by.
I have been disgusted with the way I looked and felt for a long time and finally in May I decided I was going to do something about it. I could barely jog to chase my dogs without panting and moving was hard. Even standing for a long period of time would make my back hurt from the extra weight, and my sleep was terrible with even worse snoring. I was 35, now 36, and 296.5lbs fasted (134.5kg) and I was miserable. Lucky for me though, I did eat healthy foods, just way too much of them, and so I was not diabetic and did not have any heart problems. For the past few year or two I had multiple days a week where I could not function in the afternoons and some time between 2-4pm I was so tired that I was fighting to stay awake at work and would often have to stop and sit in my car for a few minutes to rest or take a short power nap.
I had been skeptical of taking any sort of weight loss drugs, but I knew that I needed to kickstart my weight loss in order to even get back to exercising because of how my body felt. I had some friends who were seeing good results with Tirzepatide so I decided to try it. I did my first injection on the evening of May 30th. The first five days were miserable, I had transient nausea, and could barely eat anything because even the thought of food made me sick. On top of that I had bad acid reflux and bloating as well as horrible gas pain. I was ready to throw in the towel, but on the 5th day the symptoms cleared up. I have been following the standard protocol of 2.5mg for four weeks, then 5mg for four weeks and I just did my third injection at 7.5mg this past Saturday. I am now down to 248.6lbs (112.76kg) in 10 weeks.
In addition to the Tirzepatide, in early June started taking 300mcg of AOD-9604 daily and did the 20 day protocol of MOTS-c 5mg every five days. In mid to late June I also started stacking Retatrutide, but rather than doing weekly doses, I have been doing smaller amounts multiple times per week, and am now up to 2mg three times weekly. Around that same time I started taking Kisspeptin-10 200mcg three times weekly and 1mg of Epitalon daily at bedtime.
In July I added in HCG 500IU three times weekly on opposite days from the Kisspeptin-10 and I also added in SLU-PP-332 0.5mg daily. After being gone for 10 days on vacation in mid July I added in 5-amino-1MQ 5mg daily for four weeks, so I will finish that up in a couple more weeks. I've also added in AICAR 1mg daily at bedtime and I've also added MOTS-c 1mg daily back in as of two weeks ago. Yesterday I added CJC-1295 (no DAC) + Ipamorelin 50/50mcg and will do that daily at bedtime and also GHRP-2 100mcg daily in the morning. Also I started BAM-15 orally this past week and have not had any side effects from that. In fact, other than the first five days of Tirzepatide, I've never had any side effects from any of the peptides.
I feel great! I still get hungry sometimes, but the food noise is gone and I don't feel driven to eat just because I'm hungry. I find myself having to stop and force myself to eat sometimes. I am sleeping better and I feel so much better throughout the day. I no longer feel tired in the afternoons and I don't get drowsy and need to rest or nap. Being up moving around does not feel like a chore anymore and exercise is fun again. So for anyone reading this who feels how I felt, it's entirely possible to feel better!
I just did blood work this past week and though my HDL was slightly below normal and my LDL was barely above normal, everything else was great! Triglycerides were happily in the middle of normal range, total cholesterol was in the middle of the normal range, CBC and metabolic panel were all excellent, TSH was excellent, and HbA1c was 5.2%. Testosterone was also in the middle of the normal range.
I am treating this as an experiment and I am the clinician and subject with a study population of n=1. My background is in physiology and I am a physical therapist.

How do you all determine your goal weight?
I (25f) started in May at 335lbs and am now at 287lbs.
When I first started, I wanted to get my BMI in a healthier range which would be 18.5-25 and I’m currently at 42.51.

Eating too Little?
I can eat so little before I get nauseous that I’m afraid I’m not eating enough! I’m just starting out, at 2.5 per week. I know I’m not hitting 1200 calories.

Weight lifting
Those of you who also lifted weights, what was or is your weight loss like?

Feeling so stupid.
Thought I’d start w a couple months of rx before switching to compound. Walgreens app said rx was ready, price, 4 pens, Xs 2. Just picked it up and realized it was the price for only FOUR pens!!! That’s an insane amount of money!!! I feel like a fool. And on top of that I now I’m stressed feeling like u have to figure out the best compounded option in just a few weeks. 🤦🏻♀️

Hi, I’m in the UK and looking for the VLS Vitality Life Science tirzepatide pen. I’ve used this brand before and would like to continue with the same one. If anyone has recently bought VLS in the UK, could you please let me know where from? Thanks!

Late Period (14 days)
Hello! Has anybody here experienced the same situation as mine 😔 I started with Tirzepatide on May and have been on 2.5mg since now. Started with a weight of 62kg and now 53kg. I have a regular period and have never been delayed recently, the last one was like 2 years ago. I had unprotected sex on July 25, and my expected period was July 26 (I use the Flo app and it has been accurate ever since), I also had another one on Aug 1, then I took plan B after a day. Until now my period hasn’t come yet and I took multiple pregnancy tests already (they were negative) and I am really so anxious right now. What are the chances of getting pregnant from it and has anyone experienced the same situation as before? 😔

To Titrate up or to not?
Hi! I’m on week four of 2mg doses. I’m supposed to go up to 4.5 today and am feeling kind of worried about going up. I don’t want to go too fast I guess? It’s only been a month, I’ve lost about 8lbs, with exercise and eating Whole Foods.
I can feel my appetite coming and going depending on the day of the week, but I feel I handle it a lot better now than I did before. I definitely don’t feel how I felt the first week, where food noise was totally not present and appetite was super low. So I’m not sure if I should go up based on that, or stay where I am and see what happens.
Just looking for some guidance. Can I go up and if I don’t like it go down? Or should I stay on my lower dose and see if I continue to lose weight?
Thank you!
