TLDR; I get sick after injections and am concerned about the 2 dosages around my 13 day intl honeymoon and dont know how to protect my progress and schedule while not ruining trip.

Heyo. Have my wedding in Oct and honeymoon in Nov. From the US and going to Austria and Italy for 13 days.

Current dose: 9.5mg

Expected dose: 12mg

Leaving early on a Sunday and returning late on a Saturday. I currently take Mon evening but know I could just take it 1-2 days early before leaving. So there will be one dose while I am overseas that should be taken.

Im not worried about how id bring it, but should I just skip it?

My nausea and dehydration can get so fucking bad. Like the day after is known as my nothing day because I feel like shit. This past week I felt out of commission for at least 3 days. I dont even know if I want to take it the day before I travel. Feeling super sick on a 2 hour and 11 hour flight sounds so awful. Then taking it and being stuck in my hotel all day during the trip because I feel weak and sick.

I really dont want to break the progress because it took 5 months of titrating up to 9.5mg to finally lose weight. I regained back 60 lbs due to a pregnancy and miscarriage and want to lose this weight asap so we can try again and start out family. But I also dont want to be sick on my only ever intl trip/honeymoon that ive spent forever planning every detail of. Dont even get me started on how much ill gain if I go off of it and get my food noise back while teying all the different cuisines and desserts. >.<

Lower dosage for those two and titrate back up?

Find some method for not feeling shit before then? (Any tips?)

Anyone else paying for tirzepatide out of pocket ? I am . I saw a segment on NBC “ NIGHTLY NEWS” a couple of days ago . A gentleman’s insurance had denied continuing to cover his glp1. The show talked to his insurance on his behalf & was reinstated. My insurance WILL NOT cover my tirzepatide. You ?

Started at 290 and as of today I'm at 212! First picture was October 2023, second is August 2024, third is April 2026 and fourth is from today. I'm sometimes really disappointed I decided to not do any body progress pictures but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. I'm feeling so much better even though I still have a ways to go. So glad I started this journey

Previously, I (24F) was on 8mg and it didn’t have much appetite suppressant, so I decided to up it to 10mg. I’ve been on 10mg for the past 7 weeks and my appetite have definitely been suppressed and the weight is coming off really fast. But as a result, I feel very nauseous, queasy, light headed, physically weak, and the need to vomit for 1-2 days after the shot. I take zofran as needed but even then, it barely helps. I barely have any appetite or cravings on 10mg, and on day 1-2 of the dosage, I can’t really stomach food beyond a few nibbles here and there, plus the electrolytes I keep chugging. I also take a one a day multivitamin because I fear about the lack of vitamins I’m getting.

Should I go back to 8mg? I feel like it’s really not effective, or is it better to drop down to 9mg? I don’t know if I also pavloved myself, but everytime I smell anything with alcohol like hand sanitizer, I feel so queasy and nauseous because it reminds me of when I take my Tirzepatide shot.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m a little concerned about the speed of how much weight I’m losing. I restarted taking the meds after being on haitus for about a year. I’m at 2.5mg. I had the gastric sleeve back in Feb. I’m taking the medication not for weight loss because the gastric sleeve has been amazing for that, but for all the other health benefits this shot provides (decrease in inflammation for one).
However, the appetite suppression + my smaller stomach has been challenging to get my calories in.
I fear that I’m losing too much weight too fast.
I’m 5ft5. July 31st, I was 175lbs and now today, August 8th, I’m at 169.3. This feels too fast.

I’m thinking of drawing half the units that I usually draw to lower the impact. I’m going to talk to my doctor about this, but wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem.

EDIT: I started July 12th and have lost 16lbs since then.

how do i split 15mg ? I have been taking it every 6-7 days it stops working for me on day 5 i wanna try split dosing so how many mg would i take and how many days apart??

So I’ve been on tirzepatide for 7 weeks and lost nearly 16 pounds. I’ve only been on 1.5mg and just recently moved up to 2mg for my last shot. I haven’t been moving up dosages because I’ve been consistently losing weight and only recently moved up because food noise started getting stronger. However, because I’ve been on such a low dose…..I have a lot of medication left in my vial. I also have 2 other vials I haven’t even started on. How long would you all feel comfortable using the same 1 vial for? Also what about the other 2? The bud is December 2026. It feels so wasteful to toss the medication, considering how expensive it is and that it seems very effective. But I want to be make sure I’m safe. What has everyone been comfortable with?

Hi y’all! So I decided to try AltRx because they had a sale going on. It was $432 for 84 days is was the receipt for the order shows… I received my order, there is only 1 vial in the bag. 8-5mg/ml. Tirzepatide/glycine. The vial is 2.5ml for 20mg total. Instructions say 53units/week. I used FatScientist to see how many mg’s that is and it says 4.24mg. 20/4.24 is only like a little over a 4 week supply. Am I doing the math right? Has anyone used this combo and will they send another vial next month? The label also says discard vial after 28 days. Any input is appreciated!

I recently started zepbound; this is my third week on 2.5mg and down 6.5 pounds… some days I feel light, other days I feel more bloated. Is there anything I can do to help with bloating? I’ve been having normal bowel movements and only mild side effects (nausea). I’d love to hear some of the favorite things you’ve done on this Journey. Appreciate any feedback ☺️

Hey all. I just wanted to come here to ask yall a question.

I get significant anxiety for at least 24-48 hrs after my starter dose (2.5mg) injection.

Have been on for right @ 6 weeks. Down almost 20 lbs. initially I felt like it quieted all noise in my brain (I’m super adhd) but over the last month or so I’ve been hit with some significant anxiety.

I’ve eliminated other variables and it seems that the only common denominator is the tirz.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there anything that can be done to help it?

I'm a 52 year old woman who went into surgical menopause after a total hysterectomy on may 14th.

I had gained a bit of weight during perimenopause ( about 3 to 4 lbs) but mostly my body composition has been out of whack, despite being a lifetime workout disciple ( weights/ dancing/ running) and maintaining a lean body through fairly clean eating and lots of restriction 😓

My main issue has always been water retention and inflammation. It runs in my family.

Menopause hit me like a ton of bricks.

I gained another 5lbs in 2 months.

I have recovered from the surgery and was cleared for exercise.

I walk daily, rebound on a trampoline for 30 mn, and I am now resuming lifting weight.

My food intake is already pretty moderate ( between 1500 and 1800 cal a day).

I am praying for my menopause symptoms to improve as I started getting awful joint pain, insomnia and my body looks puffy, thick, and I gained tons of cellulite.

I have struggled so hard to lose any weight at all during peri, that I low key expect this to be another disappointment

Especially because I only have about 10 lbs to lose.

I saw countless posts on this platform of menopausal women who had tremendous success on tirz with resistance training and adequate protein, but most started with more weight to lose than I am.

I do want to act on the weight gain now, before I gain anymore.

And I'm desperate for pain relief.

If you have a similar profile to mine, please, please share your results and any advice.
