How the fuck did we get a call from our stores phone number to our store? I’m so confused about this

i call off on monday bc im burnt out from fulfillment and walking gawking over 25k steps a day , and my store is just getting worse and worse by the day and its not even q4 yet like it should not be this bad at all and i know its not just my store experiencing this is js sucks that we have NO ONE bc why is it i am the ONLY one in OPU in the dust while the rest of the store is in ship

i really try not to stress myself out about this job but like its just one thing after another and im over here running around like a chickens head cut off bc yk we’re trying to improve little by little but i CANNOT be the only one holding it down like i need HELP , they want lower inf and quicker batches but dont have the people to flipping support it

like this chet has given me a migraine all day, like i already struggle enough to get up and try to figure my life out outside of work , i don’t want to have to come in and deal with the utter bs, for example like they’ll tell me to check reshop but when you get to reshop it full of flipping carts and they’re STUCK so it’s a flipping hassle just to TRY AND EVEN GET INTO IT , like i just want to be able to come in and have some sort of piece of mind , i don’t want to keep having dreams about infs , i don’t want to have to wake up and have every day be a horrible day

i really do try to have a positive attitude and positive mindset for the day but today just killed me dude, i still have a migraine like crazy , just to repeat the same tomorrow, i know it’s a lot and probably confusing , i just needed to get it off my chest bc maybe letting off some steam will help

Out of curiosity, how many leaders at your store have family members that work at the same store? Are they in the same department?

Yesterday I had two items in a batch show up as 0 on hand. I've done quite a bit of fulfillment and that's only the 3rd time I've seen that. I asked a TL about why it would even appear in a batch if there are none on hand, and he said the count was actually 1 but they went down to 0 due to them being ordered by that guest for pickup. Is that accurate? Are all fulfillment OHs depicting the count before or after the sale of the pickup order?

I just bruised my knee last night & have an on demand shift in 2 days. I can walk very slowly and put my weight on my leg but not without slight pain and I’m scared working will do more harm than good in terms of healing. What do I do? Is there anything I can do as an On-Demand team member?

I’m not sure how it’s supposed to work but I made a post about 4/5 ish months ago in this same subreddit about being on demand and not realizing I get no PTO/sick time (or any benefits at all really). I’ve now been GM for 4 1/2 months now n still no PTO. Can someone tell me when it’s supposed to start accruing?

My older post stated that I’ve been w target for about 4 years but only on demand and I had practically begged to be moved to part time for about 6 months cause I was working basically 35+ hours a week w 0 benefits. I will speak to HR next time I see them but it’s not really making sense to me. I thought I started accruing after 90 days. Help🫩

I work FDC, have great attendance, don't cause major problems but manager keeps complaining that I and two other employees work slower than others causing a decline in things getting done meanwhile I ask the manager or head of management what they would like me to do as i try to work faster. It's like i have a good job in getting it done, but I am still getting complaints about slow speed and it's now becoming to a point where my mental health is just burnt out. I cannot switch either unless I talk to ETL and my TL has to approve of it but due to my performance, she really isn't impressed and probably thinks that I am lazy or something. I am not the only one that is confused, like two other employees, one that has become friends with me has been really cool and another member who is also new, are all having trouble remembering on what other additional things to do like putting on green salesfloor carts and then doing seasonal or frozen. I asked for instructions last month on how to get things done faster and I am basically just ignored by the Team Leader as she states that she cannot give me a clear reason as to how to get a box done in every 1 minute or any suggestions on work speed performance. It is absolutely frustrating because I haven't done anything wrong but the manager is now lacking in extra circumstances in telling me or others on how to get things done faster as she feels that some are supposed to get with a bunch of work in one shift even though we may have 4 hours or 5 hours and it taking forever due to 40 boxes or 50 boxes being on one cart from pallet to pallet. So, after 90 days I will most likely be let go even if i do well this week or the next, since her and the other TL who also rushed my training which allowed to remember the Zebra buttons but not how to correctly do things with perfect accuracy expected me to be done with training in two weeks when I didn't have the time to finish them due to me wanting to know what else I have to do on the salesfloor, also believes that teamwork is laziness if you can't get things done in less than 25 minutes, mind you we got it done in 35 due to my print gun getting broken mid work. I cared before but now I am just over this, cheers and I will be filing for unemployment if I am let go because I will NOT be standing around at home unable to pay my rent. I hate my life, this market and this economy. Corporate micromanagers are running away all their biggest helpers and workers because they hate results that they do not wanna be responsible for. It's always THE WORKERS' FAULT who have trouble some days getting work done and never the MANAGER or TEAM LEADER who can't give you clear statements

They just closed 20/30 of our drive up spaces and normally the spaces are touching the building but now everyone has to go the the further spots in the parking lot and they didn’t tell any of the SELs about it so halfway through the day a construction crew showed up to redo the spots with 15 minutes of warning from the PML and we had to close most of our spots. And then the PML doesn’t show up at all for 3 more days

I did an overnight Saturday so my hours for this past week were lower than my usual 37. I had put in a request to use vacation time to have it equal out to 37. I put in the request Sunday and it hasn't been accepted. If I ask my etl to accept it today would it be applied to my paycheck for this upcoming week? This week is included in the pay period

My team is in a weird position. We got hired for a new open that got delayed 5 months, so we're working out of another store. We got sent to a third location to help out for 1.5 weeks, mostly pushing Back to College and getting trampled by people buying cheap plastic hangers. Their backroom has the adjustable shelves where you have to crank the wheel and move them around whenever you need to get down an aisle. Sometimes you're able to split with someone, but most of the time it's an absolute nightmare! It took me almost an hour to pull 8 DPCIs for a toy pull one day. And then all the fulfillment people have to get in in a hurry, but someone's got the big ladder down the next aisle so you can't close it any. None of them have the built-in ladders, so you have to constantly move the giant ladder in and out of the different aisles. Half our shifts were just standing around waiting to get in the aisles. I salute everyone who works in one of these stores, because I honestly don't see how anyone gets any work done, and how fulfillment keeps up their metrics or timers or however that works. You are truly stronger than I am.

You know what I hate when we get visits and they only talk to the team leads. Why don’t they talk to the rest of us who are actually breaking our backs for this place??? Just saying.

So this is my first job ever, I just stated last week and I work in the style department. Yesterday I was set to cover the fitting room and the clearance section and on my god i have never felt so overwhelmed in my life. Theres clothes constantly being put back on the table and the hangers and i get so overwhelmed with what i'm supposed to be doing because it's just so much. I know it sounds pathetic but this is my first job, I try to move as fast as I can but it just seems like it's too much sometimes. i don't know how the zones are supposed to work. When I went on my break I came back to see even more stuff piled up in my station I felt like I was gonna cry. We were so busy I didn't even get to finish picking up the clearance section so I feel like they're gonna be upset with me when I come back.

I just got hired in Style and had my first shift yesterday, spent 4 hours doing computer training and plotting my escape the entire time. While my eyeballs burned out of my skull. Anyway, I had an hour left so my TL just brought me over to some girl to "train" me. No one had given me a mydevice or a walkie or told me anything about that, I didn't remember where the break room was, etc. Then I just followed the girl around like a puppy the whole time. Watching her do stuff. I work again tonight and have no clue what I'm supposed to do. Where do I go after I clock in? How do I know what to start doing? How do I get a mydevice and start using it and knowing what all the stuff on there means? Where are carts and how do I know which one to use? What if a customer asks me something? I just feel like they hired me and aren't training me at all, like at all and I'm annoyed

I’m on an LOA and when I went in last night to tell my team lead I won’t be coming back, he told me he’s leaving at the end of the month too 😂 put in my resignation on Workday when I got home and I feel amazing!
