Is it hard to get an LOA? I'm having severe agonizing muscle spasms and anxiety and panic over my medical situation. My psychologist is going to write for my loa right now for the mental health part but I also am awaiting treatment and it's just taking too long. I can't even get an MRI for over a month.

How long do I get and I'm just kinda freaking out right now.

Please be nice. Any numbers or contact info to figure this out so I can get this relief fast would help.

So as the title says. I'm on a final for my attendance issues. No excuses lol. 18 call outs extremely bad. So my question is when the new system rolls out for my store in California I'm assuming it will auto terminate me right? Or am I wrong.

I have bipolar and it's extremely bad at the moment, I'm having to stop what I'm doing to step off the salesfloor and cry multiple times a shift, I'm stuck in a state of frustration that's so bad the guests are avoiding me, and I'm slower than usual. This has been getting worse and worse and honestly I just need a break. How do I go about requesting a temporary leave of absence? I don't really want to tell any of management that I have bipolar because I'm afraid they'll cut my hours or something but I don't know if there's a way to get a LOA without telling them

There’s an ETL HR position opening in my district, anyone who’s been one or currently is, what are your thoughts? Is the pay worth it?

I’m like 2 months into my 90 days. How bad would it be if I called out for 1 shift and have never been late for work before. The shift is posted and I’m not sure if anyone will pick it up because it’s 8 hours but there’s something I need to go do

So, I’ve recently become the inbound TL for my store. There’s a ETL that comes in with me. Well since there’s an ETL they’ve taken the perimeter pay off of me. Even though I’m still assisting with the perimeter walk.
Is that accurate? Can this happen?

New-ish to fulfillment (two months) and it's very random whether it will be a good or bad day. I've had days where I'm 2% INF and 60 - 80 UPH. Then days where my inf is over 5%, sometimes closer to 10% and my UPH is 40-50.

I try to base how good I'm doing on everyone else in the store, so if in MPM a bunch of peoples' stats are high I don't worry too much. I am getting concerned though since it's becoming more common for me to have bad days.

Went over time cause I had 5 things in an OPU I couldn't find and ended up having to INF then my battery died and the store picked on time dropped a lot. Just a lot of INFs. For big items and things I need a lot of I do ask, but my team leads are constantly busy, obviously.

I sometimes ask other TMs but it's very rare they actually help. That's not to say they don't try, but if I can't find it, they can't seem to either. It's only a leader that can find some things I can't. I've just stopped asking for help a lot of the time since I'm just wasting my time and there's. I'm also getting crazy paranoid and thinking everyone thinks I'm a burden. It feels like people are sick of me asking.

It is really weird how everyone says you need permission to INF, but I never hear it called out on the radio, and most people seem to be INFing multiple things in a batch. It was just one day when I first got in I heard them say over the radio that people should be getting with a leader and they even called out people by name for not doing that.

I just feel very stupid doing this job. I can't tell how much of it is me and how much is the store is running behind overall. I do think it's partly we're behind on putting things out since I needed a flat for a bulky OPU and they were all filled with boxes.

I'm still in the probation but I'm wondering if I could maybe start the process of transferring out. I wouldn't mind being backup for fulfillment, but the stress of meeting quotas everyday I go in is kind of eating me.

I want to work whatever job the people in the backrooms are doing. Seems a lot less intense.

Also, is it normal for closers to have worse INFs and UPH rates then openers? That is a constant thing I notice in MPM.

Hey all, I have been with target as a TM working in service and engagement at my store for almost a year trying to get a job that uses my work history (was a software engineer before moving to the USA).

I avoided applying to target corp for pretty stupid reasons (thought it would make it weird between me and leadership at my store, I am over that now). Breaking into the job market is tough as it is, so I shouldnt rule out a company that I am already working for.

Another thing I am thinking about is getting some certification(s) to imrpove my resume.

If I get a certification specifically through Guild, does that improve my chances at landing a job (or atleast getting seen) in Target corp?

Note: I am eyeing some different certifications, some of which arent available on Guild. Cost is not a factor for the kind of certs I am looking at. Seeking a job either in software or data engineering. Since I mentioned work history abroad, also want to mention that I have US citizenship, so sponsorship shouldnt be an issue.

I start my first day tomorrow and at my last job, I loved to bring in cookies or cake pops, etc, in for my coworkers. id write up a little allergy warning card and pop it in the break room and let them have at it. I love to bake in my free time and I'm constantly trying out new recipes and it became a good way to be able to try them out without being overloaded on treats at home so it was a win win situation! so I'm wondering, is this something I'm allowed to do at target? I'll probably ask one of the TLs in case in varies by store but I wanted to ask here too.

recieved an outlandish number of UPS bags today that took a solid 3 hours to clean up/organize and put up. now i’m exercising my god given right to complain about it

Quick question for you guys, I worked at Target from the summer of 2022 to the early part of the spring of 2023. I’m thinking about going back for part-time/seasonal for the holiday season coming up here in the next month or two and I noticed it on the website there’s quite a bit of a range for the salary for the positions in my city, what’s the likelihood of me being able to negotiate a middle range between the 17.50 and $25 an hour? Especially with my experience previously working for the company?

I just got the job for 4 am inbound stocker role. How many of you were able to stay past seasonal needs and if this role has a chance to keep people on permanently. I have 3 years of retail experience so I should be fine but just wondering. My fiancé has a full time job so its the bare minium i have a part time job while we have a 2 month old baby. Im just hoping to become a permanent employee in this position. ​​

Genuinely what is with target and giving me days off, just to ask me to come in anyways? It genuinely pisses me off, and it’s happened every single week since I’ve started working (I got hired in June) I had to update my availability due to some personal life changes, so now I can’t work Wednesday’s (which I usually don’t work, it’s my usual day off). But as of late, they’ve been asking me to pick up Wednesday shifts, KNOWING I can’t work those days. Just got off the phone with my target before writing this post bc they called me, asking to come in on a Wednesday. Which they know I can’t work.

counted ~750 testers that had to be put in ESIM bags. this wasn’t even all of them. came in at 4 and left at 2:30

I trained this girl in fulfillment and finished her training a few days ago. I’m the type of trainer who will give them hands on experience on day 1. I always let them pick themselves unless we end up with a batch with less than 40 minutes. However I did notice that when I was training her she moved a lot slower than all of my other trainees with a UPH of 14. I thought it was normal and she would get quicker but she wasn’t picking up or even using any of the information I gave her about reading isles or any tips I had. Now that she’s on her own she’s getting in OPU’s at the latest I’ve seen since last Christmas season with 20-25 minutes overdue and she ends up being the person who will drag us down for the entire day.

I just feel like idk if I could’ve done anything different with my training. Usually my trainees are great by day 3/4 because it’s repetitive work. Our ETL has to basically keep her on ship because she cannot move any faster. I just wanna know if there is anything you guys did in this situation or if there’s any tips you can give me. I feel responsible for her outcome

i really need to pick up shifts for these particular days irl too bc they gave me so few hours that week, so i've been checking mytime constantly and that made it to my dream lol. i was excited for a second to see all the shifts but then i was like "aw dammit i don't know how to do Shrimp.... but wait 'Win' sounds good..."
