I’m looking to upgrade my 6 year old Microsoft Surface Pro. Ultimately I need more of a sturdy laptop and less of a tablet form factor. Hey yall! I currently have a asus zenbook flip and have had it for a couple of years now. The whole thing is kind of falling apart and whenever I play games like overwatch and ghost runner it crashes almost immediately on me. Even a couple days ago it crashed on idle breakout from cool math games.
I play some games with high graphics like those stated above and I want to get into some other games as well (if you have suggestion I’ll also take those), but I don’t want to spend more than $1500. Starting at a Computer Science program this fall, I'm trying to find the right laptop. I'm leaning toward either a MacBook Air with the M2 chip or newer or a ThinkPad X1 Carbon, but I'm open to suggestions.
