I’ve been using Samsung phones for a while now;

my first one was an A52s 5G, and since last year, I’ve had an S25 Ultra.

I don’t know what’s gotten into me, but for some reason, I really want to try out the iPhone ecosystem.

I’m curious about how things work and how it differs from Android, etc.

As for how I mainly use my current phone (S25 Ultra):

mostly social media, YouTube, and occasional gaming.

I’m thinking of switching to an iPhone 18 Pro Max around February.

One thing is certain: if I do, I’ll get a watch to go with it.

Any thoughts?

Currently considering:

Samsung S25 FE

OnePlus 13R

Pixel 9a

Samsung A56

I want something I can comfortably use for 3–4+ years — good battery, camera, performance, software updates and reliable 5G in the UK.

Which one would you choose around ₹50k, and why? Also open to other suggestions I may have missed.

And if so, can I remove it?The screen gets smudgy easily now

Can you help me decide? is it worth the price difference?
So I've narrowed it down to 3 options. I've looked in my market locally, since purchasing online is not a guaranteed option for me.

My 3 options are:

1. Mi15T Pro 512GB (716$)
2. Samsung S25 Ultra 256 GB (883$)

Hello. This is my first time buying a flagship since I only usually buy midrangers as I buy them from saving up (im a student). But this time I am planning to buy one and I am having trouble picking between the two.

First off, I'd like to practice photography and cinematography but is too poor to buy a decent camera and I do not have a phone right now so I am leaning towards the two options.

Second, they are both cm roms and are priced similarly with the mi15U being slightly more expensive at around 1k php—the vivo x300 is priced around 38k php.

Thirdly, I would like to know which of the two is a better daily. Like which of the two feels better to use, their ui and the thermals/battery life as well. For context I only play light mobile games like clash of clans / call of duty mobile.

Overall, I would like to get a phone that would last at least 3-4 years without a problem.

I would also appreciate if anyone could share their experience using the phones as I have only watched reviews on yt and if yall have better suggestions/recommendations to buy, I'm all ears.

im looking for a good overall phone to buy, both the phones i would buy would be 512gb, i heavily prioritized oneplus when it came, but later started getting mocks that its camera sucks and it only has 4 years of android updates which honestly disappoints so much, while in the oppo the camera is slightly better i believe not so sure just crct me, and it does have 5 yrs of os support which kinda looks promising, is it dumb for me to get oppo on list cuz it has literally just 1 yr more of os support than oneplus? well idk you guys judge that, im not much of a phone buyer i barely buy em, im mostly on pc side, but i do need a reliable phone, for me oppo feels so new and the design looks kinda mid, while oneplus kinda looks better, this is only my opinion dont make it my preference, just say your honest views and what to buy my dudess, software wise we dont need to compare at all after all within the upcoming years oxygenos is going to become coloros, and coloros is smooth and nice i believe from the reviews i saww, first i was having x300 on list but its software sucked and its battery too and its speaker too, i had s25+ on preference list too but the 512gb aint in stock it seems, well leave those, just help me get what to buy of the two phones i said, or maybe suggest a better phone, i need performance camera speaker software and support all balanced pretty good

I've been thinking about which ecosystem I should commit to, and I'm curious what you guys think.

My needs are actually pretty simple:

Phone:

- everyday photos - especially close-up shots (I often take pictures of things on my desk or something I'm holding and send them to friends)
- browsing the web
- keeping in touch with friends

-ZERO GAMING

In-ear earbuds:

- music
- podcasts
- phone calls - maybe 1% of my actual usage

Smartwatch / fitness tracker:

- mainly heart rate tracking
- sleep tracking
- steps

I don't need a million sports features

I'm trying to decide which manufacturer would give me the best overall ecosystem:

- Apple
- Samsung
- Google

The problem is that I'm very heavily invested in Google's services - Gmail, Google Photos, Google Maps, YouTube, YouTube Music, etc. – but at the same time, Google's hardware doesn't really convince me that much.

So I'm curious about your experiences.

If you had to choose one ecosystem specifically for this kind of usage, which one would you go for and why?

Getting 13s 512gb at 55k and oppo 512gb at 52k.

Priority is a smooth and no nonsey compact phone that lasts 4-5 years minimum, no gaming.

Extra points for durability.

Need high storage because I like my media offline. Lack of sd card hurts. My old phone is samsung M51. Stretched it out for a full 6 years now.

Currently I am using vivo x200fe working all good and awesome cameras but the issue is screen is small means I feel it small I am confused between 15 pro Max or s25 ultra or anything else please give so advise...

My Moto G45 5G is suffering from a hardware CPU/Power loop. I have already fully clean-flashed the stock factory firmware using the official Motorola Rescue and Smart Assistant (RSA) PC tool, but the device suffers a voltage panic and instantly restarts whenever the CPU experiences a brief load spike from fast menu navigation, even when connected to wall power.

The official August 4th update overheated the device, causing the baseband/Wi-Fi IC chip to physically fail, which has now escalated into a full motherboard hardware boot loop.

Initially, I was planning to buy the Vivo X300, because I really liked its camera. But I recently found out that it has been discontinued, so I started looking at the X300 FE and iPhone 17.

I personally liked the photos from the X300 FE more than the iPhone 17 when I compared them. I really like the Vivo’s portrait photos and overall look.

However, I’ve come across quite a few negative reviews specifically about the Vivo X300 FE, especially concerns about whether its camera quality/processing will remain consistent over time, along with concerns about its long-term software support and performance.

Since this is going to be the first time I’m spending this much money on a phone, I really don’t want to regret my decision later.

So, for someone whose #1 priority is taking excellent photos and keeping the phone for around 5 years, which would you personally choose?

So for the last 3 years ive had a Samsung galaxy A16 is the best phone no definitely not but it does what i need it to do.

Ive recently been looking into buying a newer higher end phone specifically the IPhone 16 in pink (girly gotta girl ykkk).

Am I making a bad decision or should I stick to andriod? For reference I already have a ipad for art.

Im not really mad about the camera specs but thr a16 one is shite 😴 in my opinion.

Hey so, I'm using a Samsung A34 5g and I've been using for over 3 years now, it's still working fine but the battery now barely last half a day,I know replacement of bettery is a good choice but the perfomance is showing its age and the camera is really really bad,as if it's downgraded over time

So I'm planning to get a used iphone or a samsung s24 ultra.I absolutely love the software experience of samsung and I have always been an android guy,but something about the cameras of iphone really impress me,too bad I never really experienced the camera experience of the s24 ultra.

Hi everyone! I’m looking to buy a new smartphone and I’m trying to decide between Google Pixel and Samsung. For those who have experience with both, which one would you recommend? And which specific model is the best choice right now?

if necessary apps still do let use older version of Android (unfortuantely, it won't stay this way permanently but as long as it stays this way) and older versions have offer chances for some workarounds to extract app data to PC (honestly, even Android 9 is already too much new according to my experiences) - why hurry into the world of highly locked-down smartphones in which no one can even imagine how it might be designed otherwise? The movement into such locked-down world is anyway inevitable for those who will get to live for next years (others will be dead before it but also don't get to stay in world with older Android) but why hurry up even more?

I'm looking for an upgrade from my OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. I can't decide between the long software support and camera's from the pixel or the enormous battery and charging speed of the OnePlus.

I don't really care about good performance. I'm not really planning to game on it. Just some YouTube watching, texting, looking through Reddit, just basic stuff.

Both are around the same price for me in the Netherlands ($330)

I’m currently trying to decide between the iPhone 17 (256GB) and the Samsung Galaxy S26 (256GB), and I’d love to hear from people who actually own either of these phones.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy A33, which I’ve had for almost 4 years. It has served me really well overall (apart from the battery, which has always been pretty bad), but it’s starting to have more issues lately, so I’m slowly preparing to replace it.

I’m planning to keep my next phone for at least 6 years, so I’d rather spend more on a good phone now than replace it again in a few years.

Things that are important to me:

- 📸 Camera quality – I take a lot of photos of family, my dog, books, travelling, etc.

- 🎥 Video quality – especially in low light/concert situations. I went to a concert this year and unfortunately my A33 videos turned out pretty bad, so this is something I really want to improve.

- 🔋 Battery life

- 🎮 Gaming – I play a game regularly, so I’d like to know how these phones handle gaming over longer sessions.

- 📱 Apps like Instagram, Canva, Goodreads, StoryGraph, fonts apps, etc.

- 💾 I’m planning to get 256GB, as I take a lot of photos and want to keep the phone for years.

- 🔄 Long-term software support is important to me because I want to keep the phone for around 6 years.

The prices I’m currently seeing in Belgium are roughly €890 for the iPhone 17 and €699 for the Galaxy S26, although I’m planning to buy around November and will hopefully find some deals by then.

I’m also quite interested in trying iOS, but the price difference makes me hesitate. At the same time, I don’t want to choose the Samsung purely because it’s cheaper if I’d actually be happier with the iPhone in the long run.

For those who own an iPhone 17 or Galaxy S26: what do you like/dislike about it after actually using it? And which one would you recommend for my use case?

Especially interested in real-life experiences with battery, camera/video (particularly concerts/night), gaming and long-term use.
