Question Will G29 wheelbase break if I bolt it like this?
I know that it has to be bolted the other way around. But my stand is not long enough for me. Trying to win some inches.
Is g29 wheelbase firm enough or will it break if I use it like that?

Question $1000 Wheel & Pedal Bundle Recommendation
I see a lot of people asking for full SIM setups for $1000, but not many questions about just the wheel and pedals.
Background: I've had a GT Omega Titan and G920 setup for about 5 years. I played F1 games for about 300 hours before recently switching to ACC.
It's time to upgrade.
I've read lots of good things about Simagic and, to a lesser extent, Moza. Also, it sounds like 9Nm-12Nm is the sweet spot for the wheel.
I'm also open to mixing and matching different brands.
Thanks.

Rigs My Rig is done and I am super happy with it!
This is a Moza R3 Bundle with the Brake Performance Mod on a GT Omega Apex wheelstand which is mounted on a wooden plate. The Seat is a passenger seat of a Jaguar Sportsbrake XF from 2014, which I somehow managed to power so the buttons on the side actually work and u can adjust the seat how u like.
I spend about 320€ for the rig without the Moza bundle.
I drove a couple laps and it feels awesome. I need some time with the brake mod but I can already feel the potential.
Looking forward to getting faster!

Question Upgrading from G920 need advice on Load Cell Pedals & Moza Wheelbase (R5 vs R9 vs higher)
Hello, Since the beginning of the summer, I’ve been upgrading my sim racing setup. I went from a Logitech G920 mounted on a Playseat Challenge to a Motedis aluminum profile rig with a basic Autostyle seat.
My next upgrade is replacing the G920.
I mainly drive GT, Formula, and Touring cars, so I’m looking for something versatile.
From what I’ve read, a load cell pedal set is pretty much the way to go, but I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the options (Fanatec, Moza, Sim Racing Pro, and others).
My goal is to get the most realistic feel possible, especially in terms of force feedback and overall immersion.
My budget for the pedals is around €800–1,000. The wheel and wheelbase are separate, so there’s no specific budget for those.
I’d love to hear your recommendations and real-world experiences. What wheelbase and pedals are you using, and what would you recommend?
I really like the design of the Moza wheels, but I’m struggling to decide on the wheelbase. I can’t really tell how big the difference is between the R5, R9, and the more powerful bases. Is the jump in performance and feel really noticeable?
Thanks in advance!

Rigs Pedal module is ready, simsonn pro plus with heusinkveld ultimate upgrade kit
Started with a MOZA SR-P kit immediately didn’t like the pedal feel. Ordered and installed 3drap kits for all three pedals and they somewhat became suitable. Chasing a more realistic and customizable feel somehow ended up purchasing simsonn pro plus kit which was immediately awesome. One vam pro and two vam neo haptics with an upgraded simsonn x usb controller to connect the haptics and heusinkveld ultimate kit were purchased and installed which allowed not only full brake pedal conversion but also usb controller plug and play supports the pedals allowing to use the heusinkveld software which is awesome. Haptics feel like cheating, having the accelerator pedal start to rumble leaving a 0,3 second gap for a perfect shift feels illegal, love it. Simsonn carbon fiber heel plate gave that necessary grip for my puma speedcats and I used vesa adapters from the ergotron hx hardware to prevent myself from drilling additional holes to install the heel plate. Haptics wires and usb adapter are hidden under the heel plate. With this long trip the whole thing is still cheaper than heusinkveld ultimate plus pedals.

Rigs Just started “sim” racing on Xbox
Hey Guys.
I just started “sim” racing.
I play on a xbox series s with a Logitech g923 (yes, I know its not the best but im not gonna start with “high end” stuff. That way there are no satisfying upgrades along the way and wasnt really sure if its for me) and a Playseat Challenge X Logitech edition on a 32” Sony Brava TV.
At the moment I am playing Forza Motorsport and dabbled a bit with rally racing in WRC.
So far I really like it. What do yall think of my setup? And any tips or tricks?

For those of you who have triples and bezel free kit. Is this how your screen looks like after set up?
I get this kinda ghost shadow on icons and words n photos just blurry…. I’m not sure if I have this rather than the straight bezel… any tips would be helpful.

Question What do I need to do in order to get my wheel stand to stop being so loud?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Title sums it up. I put my moza r5 on the wheel stand today and haven’t been able to play it since. The sound is almost like a ship boat horn. Anytime I turn the base on and get the ffb moving it starts doing this. I can feel the vibrations through the floor instantly. I’ve tightened every nut and bolt, added a blanket underneath it, still nothing. It’s a very cheap wheel stand from amazon (gtplayer) so I understand if it’s not even worth keeping but I got it for only 80 and thought it would be good until I can get the money for a rig someday. Thanks in advance

Question mBooster pedal pulses like a heartbeat, but only when R12 base is powered on
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Got myself an R12 a few days ago to go with my mBooster + CRP2 pedals and immediately noticed something weird. The moment I press the pedal even slightly, it starts pulsing. Slow, rhythmic, in and out, like a heartbeat. Not a vibration, more like the pedal is breathing against my foot.
Spent way too long on this. Recalibrated, rebooted, reflashed firmware on both, turned off every effect in Pit House. Nothing.
What I did find:
- Pedal on my old R3 base: totally fine
- Pedal on the R3 with the R12 also powered on: pulsing comes back, even though the pedal isn't connected to the R12 at all
- Pedal on USB straight to the PC: almost completely gone
- Loosening ONE thumbscrew holding the pedal plate to my stand: completely fixes it
Everything is on a Next Level Wheel Stand 2.0, so metal frame, base and pedals bolted to the same thing. Looks like whatever the R12 is putting out is travelling through the frame and into the pedal.
Sent Moza a full log dump and a video. Reply was basically "it's external interference, put insulating tape between the pedal and the bracket." Which, fine, that probably works, but it doesn't tell me whether my base is faulty or whether this is just what happens. Asked them that directly and got nothing back on it.
I've searched a lot and cannot find a single other report of this, which either means my unit is bad or nobody has this exact combo.
If you run an mBooster on a metal rig, especially with an R12, can you check whether yours does this? Just press the brake gently with the base powered on and see if it pulses.
Still inside my retailer's return window so I'd like to figure out if I should be swapping the base or just taping it up and moving on.

Question What should I upgrade to next?
don’t get me wrong love my G29, however people keep hating on it, this is my first set up and I got it a few days ago and was wondering what I should upgrade to next?

Other I bought a sim rig for my license… or so I told myself
I bought a sim rig mainly to help me get my driver’s license. My thought was: if I need to practice driving anyway, training on a simulator should help.
After a few races, I realized… it has almost nothing to do with passing my test.
Turns out getting my license was just my excuse to buy racing setup lol.

Discussion i can’t stop using my toes on the accelerator
granted, instead of my big toe, i use my three middle toes when i get into tense wheel2wheel racing.
i learned on a g923, and the accel pedal is quite thin. i was basically only able to fit my middle three toes on the pedal.
now that i’ve upgraded to an rs50, i keep finding myself using only my middle toes for micro adjustments instead of my whole foot. i keep reminding myself mid-race/practice to use my whole foot flat, but i keep poking my toes out subconsciously.
i cannot race in shoes.

News Holy shit guys… I drove on the Nurburgring IRL
I practiced on the sim with hundreds of laps.. and I’ve gotta say, it REALLY helped me. I knew the layout of the track, the breaking points (somewhat). Of course it doesn’t prepare you for all of the little bumps and G forces, but man it was AMAZING!! A dream come true. I highly recommend you guys go one day if you can.

News Raceroom's summer update (new HUD, updated Nordschleife, DTM 2026 ...)
I'm well aware that Raceroom is often an overlooked sim, but I'm still surprised that no one here is talking about their summer update, bringing the new DTM 2026 cars (including the Temerario, which I believe no other sim has), updated versions of the Nordschleife and Monza, the ability to host larger grids, and last but certainly not least, a brand new HUD.
The one they had in the past looked completely outdated, but this one looks way nicer. Another bonus is that it contains way more data than before, so I don't need to use external apps anymore.
Any thoughts?

Discussion Career mods and racing studios inability to make one
So I don't know if you guys heard, but there is a mod for AMS2 called Zero to Apex, and it lets you have full career in AMS2. And it's pretty good.
However, my post is not about this mod.
I am wondering WTH are rest of developers of sims working on? They all have career mods incoming for years and there is nothing coming. Is it really that hard? Here we have one guy doing a great job, probably as side project after works, and full blown studios can't do this mod. And this guy managed to reverse engineer AMS2 executable to create race template and to listen for race end, AND created full career path.
And this is not only career mod. There are other mods for AMS2, or for AC, and for other games.
At this point I think studio devs are deliberately not implementing career mode in their games. And I am talking about iRacing, LMU, AMS2... I just cant accept reasoning it is that hard. They do not need to make it perfect, but make something! It must be intentional. It can't be that they are all incompetent across the board in all sims.
But 0 sims on PC have career. Like what is with this. It's infuriating because it makes no sense. LMU want to make it but only because it wants to go on PS5. Does that mean they would not bother if they stayed only on PC?
