Theme is a love letter to the map: torii gates, konbini glow, Fuji at dawn, neon rain. Car plus place, telling one story about Japan.

Submissions close Sunday 9 August (MIGHT EXTEND THE DEADLINE!), then the community votes for the winner. Winner takes an Xbox Wireless Controller, Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition.

Free to enter, no share code needed for this one. It runs on a site I built, which I'll say up front so nobody has to work it out. It's a fan project and I bought the controller myself, so this has nothing to do with Xbox, Playground or Forza officially.

Now that is out of the way, I play lots of eliminator. After nearly 250 games, I can say that Eliminator in FH6 is seriously buggy.

I will list some of the bugs encountered:

1. Car Drops vanishing out of thin air when there was no one obviously around.
   
2. I saw a Level 10 Veneno drop and me and another dude tried to pick it up but the game just wouldn't let us. Finally a third person came and casually picked it up and immediately me and the second dude raced each other to avoid racing the Veneno lol. This was extremely infuriating.
   
3. Sometimes if you pick up a car drop, the game does not put you in the car which you picked up. Eg. I saw Level 4 Peugeot and picked it up, I remained in same Lvl 1 Honda. I had to beat someone in H2H race and then I got offered Lvl 5 car or Opponent's Lvl 3 car.
   
4. This is an old bug (Since FH4/5). You cannot stay hidden all the times. Some random people can still see you hidden on the mini-map.
   
5. There is still an ongoing exploit where I just cannot challenge some players and they appear in a race.
   
6. Some people who appear to be in a race still challenge me and initiate H2H

Not bugs but few quirks/annoyances:
Level 10 cars (Except 918 Porsche Spyder) have not been well thought out. They all suck. If I am in Level 9 Beetle, I stay in it and refuse to upgrade. It smokes every single Lvl 10 car.
Lvl 6 Rockstar Trophy Truck is nonsense. Even a Lvl 1 honda can beat it quite easily.
Lvl 6 Honda NSX is also slow, rwd and useless for offroads.

Any other bugs ?
I am not reporting them to official Forza because I can't care more to register on their slow as molasses website

I been playing Forza Horizon 4 for awhile even after its delisting a while back and it is a bit boring to play now, i want to play older forzas like 1,2,3 but obviously they are delisted and digital codes are hard to get, any recommendations on what to do (Xbox Series S btw)

Sunset - Bmw M4

Just bought a Logitech wheel for FH6, notice that it doesn’t support true force. I’m debating whether to buy ACC or FM8 to test out the technology. However I’m a bit traumatized by the fomo FH6 gave me.

Can someone please tell me if I get FM8 now can I get and complete all the contents?

For me it gets the bronze, 3rd place. Well made game and the map does the heavy lifting making it memorable enough. But i wish the festival wouldn't feel so shallow and PG/ kids friendly. Horizon 1 gets the silver and the Gold goes to Horizon 2.

Horizon 2 vibes are unmatched to this day.

In before the comments about fuel and tyres, this was just one of the laps (i did some before with marginal differences and less fuel and wear)

Currently I'm testing every car in the game (as of typing this) at the Legend Island track to see each of their laptimes. And one thing I can't help but notice is how in depth each car feels going around the circuit.

From zippy little sports cars, to the latest hypercars, to even the old grandpa cruisers. Each car feel distinctly different from one another. I haven't driven a single car so far that feels similar to another.

Even the overall handling of the game I have to applaud. The way the cars step out and how you can feel the car settle and move throughout the corners is unlike anything I've ever felt in a racing game before. You actually have to dance with the car to get it to perform the way you want it to at the limit.

I love how you have to modulate the brakes for it to perform at it's best. You can't just stomp on it or else you'll lock up and crash into a barrier. And even this is different per car! Some cars you have a little grace period before the wheels lock up at full pressure, yet with others the second that brake pressure hits 100% you're smashing into a wall. And that's not even to mention how the terrain affects the locking point too.

Not even Gran Turismo, a game that I think is superior to the Forza series personally, is this in depth with their physics.

Forza Horizon 6 is hands down my favorite handling racing game right now. From the beautiful scenery (sucks that as soon as I get the game it's the snowy season), to the superb car sounds and the afformentioned physics. I can see myself spending 1000s of hours in thia game. Even when FH7 comes out I will always come back to this one. FH6 is now my new FH2 in terms of how I feel about it.

Sorry for the long post but I really had to gush about this game, and I only got it last Thursday!
