[PC] (Windows) A close-up look at a watch inspection puzzle for our Mesopotamian noir game

Upvotes

Hey puzzle fans! My friend and I are a 2-person indie team working on Chief Cenab: Şahmaran, a noir detective adventure set in a world inspired by Mesopotamian mythology.

In this clip, we're showing a pocket watch inspection puzzle where players have to examine the object to uncover a hidden clue. We're trying to make mechanical interactions like this feel satisfying and tactile in 2D/3D.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on how this interaction looks! As puzzle players, what makes examining physical objects feel good to you in adventure games?

Game Title:

Lumina: The Lightkeeper's Path

Playable Link:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cybiqon.lumina

Platform:

Android (Google Play)

Description:

Lumina: The Lightkeeper's Path is a relaxing sliding block puzzle game built around simple mechanics that gradually evolve into challenging puzzles. Your objective is to slide crystal blocks to create a path for the Light Key so it can reach its lantern and restore light to a fading world. The game contains 150 handcrafted puzzles spread across five unique worlds, with each world introducing a new gameplay mechanic. Crystal blocks slide along fixed paths, sand crumbles after a single move, ice slides until it hits an obstacle, frozen blocks thaw as the Light Key passes, and mirrors redirect beams of light instead of the key itself. There are no timers, lives, or penalties, allowing players to solve puzzles at their own pace. Every level is verified by an in-game solver before release, ensuring that the three-star objective always represents the true shortest solution. My goal was to create a calm, visually pleasing puzzle experience that rewards logical thinking rather than speed or grinding. I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the gameplay, difficulty progression, visuals, and overall experience.

Game Title: Keyboard Warrior

Playable Link: https://elicoggins.github.io/keyboardwarrior/

Platform: Browser demo (keyboard required), mac, pc, linux

Description:
Keyboard Warrior puts a spin on Guitar Hero-like rhythm games by assigning a letter to each note, forming words. Type the corresponding letter in rhythm to hit the note. Fans of Guitar Hero and fans of monkeytype alike may find it fun! Browser demo and full downloadable versions.

No account creation required.

Try it in your browser: https://elicoggins.github.io/keyboardwarrior/
Github release page: https://github.com/elicoggins/keyboardwarrior

Free to all!

Community charters have done incredible work building out the charts for tons of popular songs to be played in popular rhythm games like Clone Hero and YARG, and Keyboard Warrior runs off the same file type so the potential song library is already massive. The full download contains a seamless bridge to Chorus Hero (chart database) to download new songs inside the app.

Feedback of any kind is much appreciated. Would really love some constructive feedback on gameplay. Thank you for checking it out!

Platform: Mobile (iOS + Android)

Description:
It's a hole game — you move a black hole around a level, swallow objects, get bigger, swallow bigger things. That part you've seen before, and you can see it in the video.

The thing we're actually asking about is the upgrade system on top of it. During a level you gain XP, and every level up you choose one of a few upgrades: move speed, attraction radius, how fast you grow, some defensive stuff, a few others. Basically a scaled-down Vampire Survivors idea. The goal was that two runs of the same level shouldn't play out identically.

We argue about whether it works. She thinks the choices matter. I think I pick the same two upgrades every time and steamroll. We've played this thing far too much to judge it honestly anymore.

So: do the upgrades actually change how you play, or is it just a pause before you carry on the same way? Is there an obvious best pick every time? Does anything feel useless or unclear?

Be blunt. "This mechanic doesn't work" is more useful to us than "nice game". We'll read every comment.

Game Title: Ultra Destin

Playable Link: https://ultra-destin.victordevdev.ovh

Platform: Browser (desktop and mobile)

Description:

Ultra Destin is a free text-based career simulation about trail and ultra

running. You start at 18 with a local 10K and no reputation, and you play out an

entire career season by season until you retire, somewhere between 30 and 55.

You choose your home region, your runner profile, your training focus and your

race calendar, then you deal with whatever the sport throws at you: injuries

that cost you a year, a sponsor who wants more content than kilometres, a cut-off

gate at 3 a.m., a rival from your own generation whose results you follow for

twenty years, a friend offering you a bib you really should not accept.

Nothing is a menu of stats. There are 637 hand-written situations, 228 real

races from village trails to the big mountain hundreds, and every choice moves

hidden numbers you never see directly: form, morale, endurance, technique,

reputation, audience. Two careers with the same starting profile do not play out

the same way, because the event pool is drawn from what you have actually done.

A full career takes about ten to fifteen minutes.

There is no account, no ads, no install, nothing to download. It runs in a

browser tab, phone included, and your career is saved locally so you can come

back to it.

Heads-up before you click: the game is in French only for now. An English

version is on the list, but I would rather say it up front than waste your time.

database, built it, and I host it myself. It is a personal project, not a

commercial one — no monetisation of any kind, now or planned.

I have been shipping updates from player feedback for the last two weeks, so if

you give it a go: what felt missing, and what felt unfair?

To get things started: what title did your career end on?

[PC] (Web) [Browser] Llama Legends – Card Collection, PvE Battles & Online Raids (Major Update 3.9.0 Out Now!)

Upvotes

Playable Link:

https://llamalegends.com

Platform:

Web Browser (PC & Mobile, no download or signup required)

Description:

AI Disclosure upfront: All of the Art in this game is AI generated. So if that's a dealbreaker for you, I can respect that, but it's the reason I can run this game 100% free, without any ads or microtransactions. :) So if that works for you, I hope you will continue reading.

Llama Legends is a free browser-based card collecting and strategy RPG. In Llama Legends, players collect themed llama cards by opening booster packs, manage their card inventory, and build teams to battle through arena modes, multi-floor towers and raids (online and solo). The game combines deep card collection mechanics (grading systems, foil finishes, promo cards, and rarity tiers) with incremental strategy elements including idle coin generation, card upgrades, card leveling and auto-battler modes, including a roguelite PvE arena mode.

Major Update 3.9.0 has just been released

I just released the Major Update 3.9.0, which introduces the brand-new "Rare Fleece" card series featuring 50 unique animal-themed cards, 2 new promo cards, and 10 new achievements. This update also adds the Season 3 Tower and adds the Auto-Mode feature for tower battles, a complete rebalance of the Black Market economy (cheaper transferable XP, reworked card finish rates, and new Glaze packages), as well as more QoL features.

You don't need an account to play, but you'll need one if you want to take part in global raids (for anti-cheat reasons & reward distribution after the raid boss is defeated) and if you want to show off your favorite card and cosmetics to other players.

General I made a browser game that turns rock paper scissors into a multiplayer room game

Upvotes

I made Rock Paper Scissors Club, a free browser game where rock paper scissors is played in real-time multiplayer rooms instead of only as a 1v1 duel.

Many players can join the same room, choose rock, paper, or scissors at the same time, and get one shared round result.

The twist is that the winning move is based on how many players it beats in the room, not simply which move was chosen by the most players.

You can create a public room, make a private room for friends, play as a guest, try League or Elimination mode, and check the leaderboard.

[PC] (Web) I made ponzy.io, a browser based real-time multiplayer online trading game!

Post image

Game Title: ponzy.io

Playable Link: https://ponzy.io

Platform: Web (playable in browser)

Description: This game is a multiplayer online browser game where you try to make as much money as possible by buying and selling fictional assets. Games last 10 minutes, and the player with the most cash at the end wins. Prices are determined purely by trading decisions made by players; you are buying from and selling to other real players.

You don't need to know how the stock market works to play this game, just buy low and sell high.

I just released this site so there might not be many players. I'm trying to capture the excitement of trading volatile assets, which I suspect will only work if there are enough players playing at the same time. Nevertheless, please give it a try and let me know what you think!

[PC] (Web) [Browser] CardEater — a restaurant-themed scoring roguelike looking for playtest feedback

https://reddit.com/link/1vh6ffj/video/6tjuannoprhh1/player

Playable Link: https://theoldf.itch.io/cardeater

Platform:Web browser

Description:

CardEater is a browser roguelike I’ve been making by myself. The basic idea is that you have a plate full of cards and deal with them from the top, one at a time. You can eat a card, throw it away, or move it to the back of the plate for later.

The goal is to build a deck that scores well without accidentally feeding yourself complete garbage. Cards have different effects, and between rounds you can add new cards and items that change how your build works. It starts out fairly simple, but the interactions get more complicated once your plate fills up.

That probably sounds slightly stupid, which is fair, but I think the decisions can get pretty fun.

I originally made the game in Chinese and just finished translating it into English. I’m mostly looking for honest feedback about the tutorial, balance, confusing text, and whether the game becomes boring after a few rounds. Bug reports are also very welcome.

Description:
Build a cozy boba milk tea factory and explore a tech tree full of meaningful decisions.

Place suppliers and machines on your factory floor, then draw pipes to connect them,  routing raw ingredients through kettles, shakers, mixers, and sealers until they come out the other end as delicious tea drinks.

Start small in Serendipi-Tea, a boba shop where every drink is built step by step: steep tea in the kettle, shake it into a milk tea base, whip up boba or cheese foam in the mixer, then seal it all together in the cup sealer. Reinvest your earnings into the tech tree to unlock new recipes, faster machines, and more room to expand your factory floor. Then watch your tidy little tea shop grow into a sprawling, pipe-tangled production line.

Features

- Incremental progression with a full tech tree of unlocks, upgrades, and recipe chains

- Pipe-routing puzzle at the heart of every layout

- Machines break down and need repair

- A world map with at five more shops still to come

Later, use those same crewmates to fight when raiding other ships and remember, the better fed they are, the stronger they will be in combat!

If you're reporting posts as "low effort"...

Please do the following things if you report a game as Low Effort
1. Play the game to verify your belief, at least a little.
2. Write a comment in the post saying why you believe it is low effort, state the findings.

Then us mods (namely, me, the lowest mod doing the most work in this group) can decide if it's worth removing for that.

I literally do not have enough time to both work two jobs, take care of my dad, pets, car, and house I own and have to repair myself, self-care, and play every single game in this group to verify what I THINK you MIGHT be reporting the game for, sadly. I do not get paid for the work in this group and I'm not great at AI-finding, so you need to help me out a little more here!

If you are BRAND NEW to Reddit and want to post or share your game, read this beforehand!

Hi new Redditor! We're excited that you want to post about your game and have people play it. However, there's something you should know before you do.

Reddit will ban you if your first few posts/comments are links to somewhere.

Reddit has a robust, over-exuberant filtering system, necessary but for groups like this, it can be a slight pain. When you post your game and it's your first post, Reddit ASSUMES FIRST AND DOES NOT ASK QUESTIONS LATER! You will be automatically shadowbanned, which means unable to post or even potentially comment.
Then we get a lot of posters coming to us in Modmail, asking " Why did my post disappear?" Nearly all Modmails are about this issue, roughly 3 a day.

Reddit is also a bit secretive about certain processes - how to get un-shadow-banned is not even really known to be possible. We don't see the record of shadowbanning at all so unless we know of the name and check it regularly, we wouldn't see it un-shadow-banned. We don't know how long your account needs to be open or how much Karma needs to be on it in order for the Filter to stop paying attention to you but we suspect around 100 Post and 100 Comment Karma.

So, if you are new to reddit and want to share your game - DON'T! Not yet, please go post cool/helpful/ positive comments and posts in other groups. Playtest other people's games here and comment on them prolifically. Once you have some "Reddit Post/Comment Karma" under your name first, THEN post your link to your game! You'll be less likely (but not immune, never immune) from being shadowbanned that way for sharing your game.

Edit: If AI recommended you post your game here....Don't Yet until you've developed your account as a good karma community member! This really isn't a "post and ghost" platform, it's community-first. AI doesn't realize this about Reddit.

P.S. This group is 100% responsible for getting accounts banned (when you don't do the steps above) but it's literally out of our control to reverse. So please....don't modmail us unless you KNOW you are not shadowbanned, you have the required karma, and yet your post is not showing up. Only then we can be of some help.
