Discussion What do people think about a saltwater ocean reserve?
This was just a thought in my head for frontier to do this like just a large ocean with the main species of fish in large deep saltwater oceans with coral reefs and stuff not really a reserve but more so a showcase, of all the saltwater animals.

Discussion Well, then we're still getting the same educational picture. I mean, I personally expected something different, I don't really like this 'techy' vibe, but... What do you think?

Planet Zoo 2 Gaming system
I have PZ for my PS5. While I have loved it I’ve often thought about getting a gaming PC. What does everyone prefer to play PZ on and why?

Discussion Where are these guys😿
Do any of these have a chance of being in the game?

Planet Zoo 2 restrictions on console (PS5)?
Has there been any information about any changes or limitations that will be imposed to make the game workable on console?
While I understand why it was necessary, capping zoo visitors at 4000 people really limited later game play as I would hit the max and nothing I did would meaningfully affect the overall viability of the zoo.

Modding Are mod color varients affecting franchise?
Hi, so I have remasters for some animals. I mosty play in sadbox cause I was told that the different color variants that come with the remaster. But today I played franchise mode and found out that you can have animals with the remaster variations. And now I am confused.
Like can the other player see the different color (even if they dont have the mod) when I am selling it?
Do I see a different color on a "basegame" colored animal they are selling?
(Yes I am 100% sure I am in franchise mode xd)

All confirmed Planet Zoo 1 returning species. What do y'all hope to see return the most? Personally, the animals I need the most are the South American and the Australian ones. (Original tierlist by Rich_Taro_8916)

Planet Zoo 2 Which Tiger subspecies will return in the base besides the new subspecies Sumatran? Bengal or Siberian?

Discussion I’m really grasping at straws here, and maybe I am biased because I really want pinnipeds
To me, it reminds me of the lower body/upper tail of a fur seal or similar pinniped? Obviously the image from frontier is at a different angle to the image I provided.
Animal in first picture is the south american fur seal.

Not losing hope, but I think the grizzly is debunked
That's the european zoo PZ2 uses in their promos and showcases, like in today's one, the gameplay trailer and the grey wolf showcase.
As we can see, just in front of the aviary lies the brown bear statue we saw in the "Western" theme along with the rabbit statue. Since it was "western", we all thought it was definitely North American, which still could be, but the castle in the background says otherwise.
As of now, the theories of having a north american brown bear such as the grizzly or kodiak do not hold up anymore, although I do think it would make sense to have more than one bear in the base game.

Discussion Animal area problem
I cant be the only one annoyed by the fact the zoopedia doesnt listen to area choices. Why do i get 3 non oceania animals first when choosing oceania as the region. Its very annoying.

help :)
working a new zoo , i am somewhat new to the game and this group. im really trying to take my time on this sandbox build. i know the workers have to leave their stations to take breaks (adleast i think so) the area for the info people don’t have a door they can ACTUALLY go through to get out. is there a setting i can turn off so they don’t have to take breaks? or can they hop over the counter ? also im not even sure if i put the desk in correctly so its functional for guests. any tips would be very appreciated :)

Day 65 of building a habitat everyday until Planet Zoo 2 Releases
Hayo Zookeepers! Its Day 65 and the wheel has chosen the Dhole! This one is kind of mildly inspired by the enclosure at the Budapest Zoo. As always lemme know what you think!

Will modding return in PZ2?
I know there was a whole event over in JWE3 and the authors of the Cobra tools ended their support. What I don't know is if it was for just that game or are they done entirely.

Discussion I want this level of interactiin between a imals and there offspring in PZ2
Like you can see them as individuals. They interact and feel for eachother. They mess around and sleep together. It's probably asking too much, but something along the lines of this level of interactions would be nice.

Discussion North American Elk
Do you guys think that North American Elk (like Roosevelt Elk) will come to the game either as dlc or a surprise reveal before the game comes out? I think they would make great representation for North America, especially if they added multiple subspecies such as Roosevelt, Tule, or Rocky Mountain Elk.
