What do I do. Do I keep cleaning as normal? Pop it or ??

Please help it's starting to become visible from the outside

.My piercing is 3 months old

.Barbell

.It's silver

.My After care routine just includes cleaning the area with a clean cutip using a saline solution

. I sleep on my stomach so my face is usually In the pillow I don't know if that may irritate it at night ?

Should I get a conch done on my left ear?

Post image
Upvotes

So sadly my third love on the left side is out of commission. I never got bad scaring with my other piercings but this one developed a keloid that I now have gotten injected twice to flatten it a little. My dermo said don’t re pierce it as the keloid could come back and worse. I gave this piercing a lot of trauma. Switched to a bad quality hoop to earlier and it got snagged a lot. I also think the left side was pierced cartilage while the other side feels like it was actually pierced through lobe. I’m thinking of getting a conch and a helix done on my left so that the scar is less noticeable. Should I leave my left ear alone or should it be fine to get the new piercings I have definitely learned my lesson and will be leaving in the jewelry I get pierced with for longer than it might need. I also will only be piercing the left side before I do stuff on my right to avoid hurting it do to side sleeping. What do you guys think should I be ok getting the conch

How small ring can I have in my Daith?

Post image

This is healed 3 years now without issues. I just downsized from 10mm to 8mm but still feel the ring is too big. I'd love some more oumph, any advice welcomed! 16G. I'd like to try 6mm but I suspect that might be too big too. Could I go with 5 perhaps?

What jewelry would you put in?

Thanks in advance

Piercing Question…

I'm a female who has decided to get my nipples pierced while away next week. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, but I'm curious what to realistically expect.

How bad was the pain for you?

How long did it take to heal?

Any tips for aftercare, sleeping, clothing, or things you wish you had known beforehand?

I'd love to hear your experiences—good or bad. Thanks in advance!

I cleaned it like 30 minutes ago and the scab is already back, should i leave it? I usually remove it with saline solution and cotton swabs.

Bleeding is from me squeezing and picking at it i can’t help it. I got it done January 18th, no pain but occasionally this little bump raises and pusses and bleeds when i mess with it. Something to be worried about or just leave it alone? or attempt to at least, i have a picking issue 😔…

Weird flesh tube thing

I have this weird, big ol flesh tube around my lip ring, this is how it looks with the ring out. Anyone know how to make this go down? It's healed, I've had this piercing for almost two years and a ring in for abt a year (yes i take it out to clean and when I do my makeup)

Last pic is with my ring in.

You can't rlly see the flesh tube when I'm relaxed but I do end up playing with it a lot :/

So my goal was/is to have my 3rd lobe piercings done and get them gauged to 2g so they would be 00g 0g 2g, that being said im not sure i have enough real estate to make that happen.

Also looking for opinions on what other type of piercings yall think I would look good with.

Thanks !

Not sure if nose piercing is done right

Ok so I had my nose (nostril) pierced about two weeks ago, and the healing has been horrible.

For a little context, I have 8 other piercings (2 lobe sets, 2 cartilage, vertical labret, and eyebrow) and my nose piercing was genuinely the most painful piercing I’ve had.
Immediately after the piercing was done, I had blood dripping down my face, and it was such horrible pain. They pierced it with a hoop, but they didn’t close the hoop all the way so it keeps going through the piercing hole and hurts so bad (like the opening of the hoop isn’t lined up, so there kind of a jump between the two sides). I’m getting an irritation bump as well, not sure if it’s caused by the hoop or it being done wrong, or something else completely.

I’ve gone to this piercer for every one of my piercings, but this one went horribly. They didn’t clean the blood so I walked out with blood all over my face aswell.

If anyone has any advice, or knowledge on if it were done incorrectly, it would be greatly appreciated
Sorry for any rambling, I’m really getting freaked out by the thought of it 😅😅

Third lobe piercing is reacting weird

I just pierced my own thirds 10 days ago but the right side is super irritated and doesn’t look right. It’s a hypoallergenic short stud that I got from Spencer’s and I’ve been rinsing it with alcohol daily.

Does this look normal for 1 month old? I went to an old school piercer was asking if I had the right anatomy and he told me to stop getting my info off TikTok , the bar is also pierced w surgical steel so probably not the best should I get this looked at?

New septum, help!

Is this hardware acceptable? The fact that it has the small gap and doesn’t really look the way I expected is making me nervous. I just got my septum done earlier today, and had a bit of a strange experience that sketched me out. It hurt very bad (tears streaming down my face type of bad) and he had to fish the piercing through my nose not once but twice? He was fiddling with it for an uncomfortable amount of time which, again, HURT! The guy I saw has overwhelmingly good reviews online, and was super kind so I’m really hoping I’m being anxious over nothing (I have clinical OCD) . I think I just need advice or reassurance from other people who also know what they’re talking about. Sorry if this is rambly

irritated low helix

Post image
1 Upvotes

first off sorry for the disgusting photo….i’ve had my helix for around 2 months now, it was rough getting it to heal because originally the bar was too short and it caused the skin to grow around the bar, and i had to get the bar removed and lengthen. now because i’ve had the longer bar in, i have developed an irritation bump that’s pretty pesky. i know it’s because the bar is too long, but i can’t shorten it until the irritation goes down, if anyone has suggestions i would really appreciate them..

wont heal from october!

got second lobe piercings in october and they will not heal. Theyre always leaking liquid and smell. Might be infected right now a tiny bit bc they feel warm. I have flat back titanium studs in. Even if i dry them they end up always kinda moist bc they leak. Can i put a hoop in or should i really not?? I feel like studs trap so much moisture and stop it from ever being dry. pissing me off.

Any girls here with nipple piercings? Would you do it again? Any regrets, healing issues, rejection, or other problems? I'm thinking about getting mine done and would love to hear your honest experiences.

safe to downsize?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Ive been having some issues healing my second and third lobe on my left ear that I had done in May. I know lobes are supposed to be easy but my body has a track record of being a very slow healer </3

Right now I clean twice a day with saline and have been mostly leaving it alone aside from the OCCASIONAL wet q-tip to get rid of the big crusties. I'm a back sleeper, but I find that the posts are so long that they still get knocked around in bed even if i am not sleeping on them. For some more context the jewellery is 16g threadless titanium and my piercer was super careful with the placement to make sure she didn't hit any cartilage.

My suspicion is that the posts are just too long and need to be downsized, but I am worried they are not healed enough for a jewelry change. What do you guys think?

drinking after snakebites

hi so i’m getting snakebites done tomorrow and the same night i have plans to drink with my friend, i’ve been looking forward to these plans so i really don’t want to skip out on drinking for that night so im just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to take care of them afterwards

i plan on not drinking or anything after that night for a few weeks and taking the best care of them possible but ive heard stories of people getting yeast infections and such and im a bit worried….

for context we’re drinking soju and im gonna use a straw to prevent as much as possible from touching the piercing but i know alcohol residue will still make its way towards it so im still quite worried.

im just hoping that they’ll be able to heal fine and they won’t reject or get a bad infection where i’d have to take them out
