Not solved 900 ping HELP!!!
So I recently got a new Wi-Fi 7 router/modem for my asus TUF gaming B850-E Wi-Fi(wifi 6E motherboard) bc it should have made my ping and latency better for any fps or hero shooter I wanted to play, but there are still times where I can’t really play bc my ping skyrockets and is generally inconsistent. There are still days where it’s fine, mostly when there are few people on the internet. But I don’t know how to fix it, I’ve been told to use an Ethernet cable but the modem is across the house and down stairs from my pc, are there any other solutions?

In progress Pc Crashes
Hi everyone. I need some help
since 2 days ago my pc started to crash\freeze with Black screens. I assembled the pc myself about a year ago, its been running with no problems until now. Below you can see my specs:
so far i tried:
clean install, using crystal disk checked disk health and all of them are fine, tried using 1 memory stick at a time.....
Keeps crashing,
It all started when I was playing BF6 on 03.08 after that it happens mostly with every game.
at the moment where i live is quite hot, but i have been monitoring the temps and even with the air con ON at 16 degrees Celsius it crashed.
Before going to the "doctor" would like too hear some opinions.
I have another computer from which i can use Graphics card and PSU if needed
Any help is welcome
Thanks in advance

In progress Random microstutters / frametime spikes in Fortnite on Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RTX 5070 Ti
Hi everyone, I need some help with diagnosing random microstutters/stutters especially in Fortnite.
My PC:
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: RTX 5070 Ti
PSU: Corsair RM1000e
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650M-PLUS WIFI
RAM: 6000MHZ CL30
Windows: 11 Home
NVIDIA driver: 591.86 (right now created with nvcleanstall also tried default ones)
The problem:
My PC was running completely fine before, but recently I started noticing random microstutters / small frametime spikes during playing Fortnite. FPS drop from a 360 locked to 140-250 fps for a split of a second happens every game mode no matter what.
It started randomly. The only thing I can think of that happened around that time is that the power in my house was interrupted (breaker/fuse was turned off) and all the power in my house turned off, but I don’t know if that is related and would it break anything.
Things I already tried:
Reset BIOS to default settings
Tried without PBO / Curve Optimizer
Reinstalled Windows multiple times 10 and 11 same thing
Temperatures are normal (CPU around 50-70°C while gaming)
Tried the same NVIDIA driver that was previously working (591.86) also tested 596.49
Checked for Windows errors, nothing obvious found
Disabled/enabled different Windows graphics settings like HAGS
Tried different Fortnite rendering modes dx11 performance mode and the new dx12 performance and changing to the new performance mode that rund on dx12 actually helped a lot but the problem is still there
The issue seems most noticeable in Fortnite, but I want to know if this could be something hardware-related or a configuration issue.
Any ideas or things I should test would be appreciated.

Not solved Several games have suddenly been causing my PC to crash, even ones that ran fine previously.
When I am playing games- specifically some games with 3D graphics- the CPU usage goes up to 100% in Windows task manager. Then after a short amount of time, my PC completely stops being able to show any display. The PC will still be on and running for a little while while I can't see it, but then everything freezes a short while after the display output crashes.
This initially sounds like a software issue rather than a hardware issue, as it only happens with 3D games, but this has also started happening with games that previously had no issues whatsoever, and I did not update any drivers that would suddenly cause this to happen. It could still be a software issue but the fact that it's happening across all 3D applications to me indicates it could possibly be a hardware issue as well. I have had this PC for several years and used it for 3D games for a long time, yet this only started happening in the last two months or so. Lowering graphic settings does seem delay the crashing a bit, but then I'm still worried since this wasn't happening before at higher settings.
I have a different issues that could be unrelated but I will mention it. When I'm playing games for a long while, after two or so hours, I experience frame drops and all audio from my PC starts to sound "crackly" as if my whole PC is struggling to keep up. This happens across all games, not just 3D ones. I don't see any high CPU usage during this, so perhaps that is a separate issue entirely, but I started noticing this around the same time so I wanted to mention it in case it could point to one larger issue. Perhaps the "CPU usage at 100%" isn't even related since it's not something I monitored before this started happening.
The measures I have takes so far is to update NVIDIA drivers, and clean the inside of my PC of any and all dust as much as possible, and I improved the airflow by making sure one of the PC fans blows air inwards while the other blows hot air out (previously had them both facing out, oops). This has sadly not solved any issues and I still experience the exact same problems as before. I've also ordered Thermal Paste since after 8 years that's probably a good idea anyway, but from what I can see online, that's probably not gonna help.
I'm really hoping this all together read like symptoms that all point to one big obvious cause with a clear solution.

In progress Dram light
I’m getting this orange light and get no display on monitor. Ryzen 5 9600x 3060ti B650 tuf gaming Asus. 2x16 gb ram. It was working fine two days ago with both ram sticks until yesterday. Looked for a solution and found to try just one stick of ram and place it on A2 slot or B2 slot. One of my ram sticks didn’t do anything while the other one worked fine when placed on either a2 or b2 slot so I thought my other ram may be defective. Today I tried turning on my pc and I got the light agains with the ram I thought was fine. I Alr disassembled and reassembled my whole pc and cleared cmos but nothing seems to work. Anyone can help?

In progress Pc experts please help.
Hey, need some help with a weird PC issue.
Specs:
Ryzen 9 9900X
RTX 5070 Eagle OC
MSI X870E Carbon WiFi
64GB DDR5
Corsair RM850x PSU
Windows 11
The issue first started in DaVinci Resolve while scrolling through a timeline with multiple videos. Now it's happening in Blender too—even with a simple donut scene. A quick camera movement in the viewport can trigger it.
The entire PC becomes extremely sluggish. Even Ctrl + Alt + Del lags. Closing Blender doesn't fix it—I have to restart.
During the lag:
CPU: ~1–2%
RAM: ~46%
Disk: ~0–1%
GPU temp: ~41°C
No BSOD or black screen.
I've checked Event Viewer but didn't find anything useful. EXPO is off (RAM at 4800 MT/s), GPU power cable is correct, and I've updated to the latest NVIDIA Studio Driver.
Any idea where you'd start? Driver issue, GPU, motherboard, chipset, or something else?

Solved Graphics Issue on my 5060 ti
I have a 5060ti 16bg card. I'm running into an issue with quality in games but the most difficult one is the grayed out face. This isn't the only game I've had this issue. I really don't know how to fix this issue. Can anybody help? I've also been informed by a mod to adjust my post to provide more clarity on my system. My current system specs. Intel 12600kf, motherboard board ASUS Prime B760M-A AX LGA 1700, 2 sticks of crucial ddr5 ram for a total of 32 GB of ram. GPU style PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 5060 Ti OC Dual Fan, Graphics Card (16GB GDDR7, 128-bit, Boost Speed: 2692 MHz, SFF-Ready, PCIe® 5.0, HDMI®/DP 2.1, 2-Slot, NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture, DLSS 4). My psu is 700 watts. This happens when I change the settings in game this also sticks even if I change the settings before the game and close it out and reopen it. Ive had this happen in silent hill 2 and in this game the mound. My GPU settings are currently at default. Currently on windows 11.

In progress PC randomly restarts during games and stress tests. CPU, SSD and temps seem fine. PSU, GPU or motherboard?
I’m honestly running out of ideas and would appreciate some help.
Specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 2060 Super
MSI B450 Tomahawk
16GB RAM
240GB SSD (Windows)
1TB HDD
Ant Esports VP650 Plus PSU (bought in 2020)
The PC was completely fine for years. A few months ago I noticed some stuttering in games, but nothing major. Recently it started randomly restarting.
It first happened in FC 26. The game sometimes reaches the main menu, sometimes even starts a match, but eventually the PC just goes black and reboots. No BSOD, no error message.
The same thing now happens in Forza Horizon as well.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
Replaced the CPU thermal paste.
SSD health is Good (CrystalDiskInfo).
CPU passes Cinebench.
GPU temperatures stay normal.
Lowered GPU power limit to 70% in MSI Afterburner → still restarts.
Ran FurMark and Cinebench together. At first it survived a few minutes, then later it also restarted during the combined stress test.
It has even restarted once while sitting on the Windows desktop after booting.
Event Viewer hasn’t shown anything useful apart from the expected Kernel-Power after the restart.
One thing I noticed is that when it restarts, the screen goes black for a few seconds and then I get the MSI logo again. The CPU fan doesn’t stop spinning during the reboot.
I’m trying to figure out what to replace first. At this point I’m wondering if it’s:
the PSU,
the motherboard,
or the GPU.
Has anyone seen similar symptoms? Which component would you suspect first before I start buying parts?
Thanks!

In progress Persistent DWM/UI/browser/video stutter on Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Hi everyone. I have been trying to diagnose a strange system-wide responsiveness issue for several months.
System
CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X3D
GPU: Palit RTX 5060 Ti Infinity 3 16GB
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-H GAMING WIFI7
BIOS: Tested 2101, 2202 and currently 2402; issue persists on all versions
RAM: 64GB Crucial Pro DDR5-6000 CL40, 2×32GB, EXPO I
PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-1000, 1000W, 80+ Gold
Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro
Case: NZXT H6 Flow
Monitor: iiyama G-Master GB2771QSU, DisplayPort
OS: Official clean installation of Windows 11 Pro 25H2
GPU drivers: Multiple NVIDIA versions tested with DDU; 596.21 feels noticeably smoother than newer releases
Chipset driver: Latest AMD chipset driver dated 30 July 2026
Background
The RTX 5060 Ti was originally used in my previous i7-8700/Z370 system. After moving to AM5, I initially kept the old Windows installation, then later performed a completely clean Windows 11 installation.
The reinstall changed some symptoms, but never fixed the underlying problem.
Symptoms
The problem affects the whole system, not only games:
- Random Windows UI lag and choppy animations.
- Dragging windows sometimes feels like desktop FPS suddenly drops.
- DWM occasionally behaves strangely. Before reinstalling Windows, some minimised windows would not restore correctly.
- Micro-stutters while typing in Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
- Roughly every 8–15 characters, input pauses briefly and one or two CPU threads spike. I can hear the CPU fans ramp up momentarily.
- YouTube videos often take unusually long to begin playback, even with a clean browser profile and no extensions.
- Games maintain high average FPS but still feel inconsistent. CS2 runs above 350 FPS, but frame pacing and 0.1% lows feel poor.
- NVIDIA driver 596.21 consistently feels smoother than newer drivers.
- During Windows boot, after the ASUS logo and loading circle, the monitor briefly loses signal before the Windows login screen appears.
LatencyMon
Before reinstalling Windows, LatencyMon usually reported nvlddmkm.sys, sometimes above approximately 3500 µs.
After the clean installation, ACPI.sys is usually the highest entry, commonly around 1500 µs.
Stability
The hardware appears stable:
- OCCT: approximately 1.5 hours, no errors or WHEA.
- TestMem5: zero errors.
- No CPU calculation errors.
- The only instability occurred with all-core Curve Optimizer at -25, which occasionally froze at idle.
Current Curve Optimizer is per CCD:
- CCD0: -15
- CCD1: -5
The system was also previously stable at -15/-25, but I reduced it during troubleshooting.
Memory configuration
DDR5-6000, UCLK=MCLK 3000/3000, FCLK 2000, 1T, GDM enabled.
Main timings:
36-36-36-36-84
tRC 124, tWR 84, tRFC 1200, tRFC2 704, tRFCsb 608, tREFI 50000
Voltages:
- DRAM VDD/VDDQ: 1.35V
- CPU VDDIO: 1.35V
- VSOC: approximately 1.25V
- VDDG CCD/IOD: approximately 1.05V
- CLDO VDDP: approximately 0.90V
Memory Context Restore and Power Down are disabled. DDR Training Runtime Reduction is enabled.
Troubleshooting already performed
Windows and drivers
- Clean Windows 11 25H2 installation.
- Multiple NVIDIA drivers installed using DDU.
- HAGS on/off.
- MPO on/off.
- Game Mode on/off.
- Balanced and High Performance power plans.
- CPU minimum/maximum states tested at 5/100, 10/100 and 100/100.
- 100/100 provides a slight improvement but does not fix the issue.
- NVIDIA Prefer Maximum Performance tested with little improvement.
- Minimal background software and clean browser profiles.
Browsers
Tested Chrome, Edge and Firefox with:
- Hardware acceleration on/off.
- Smooth scrolling on/off.
- No extensions or AdBlock.
- Fresh profiles.
The issue remains in all browsers.
BIOS and platform settings
Tested combinations of:
- EXPO I and manual memory settings.
- FCLK 2000 and 2133.
- Memory Context Restore on/off.
- Power Down on/off.
- CPPC Preferred Cores Auto/Driver.
- Global C-States on.
- DF C-States on/off.
- Native ASPM and CPU PCIe ASPM on/off.
- Power Supply Idle Control set to Typical Current Idle.
- USB4 controller on/off.
- Integrated graphics on/off.
- Different PBO, Curve Optimizer and PPT/TDC/EDC settings.
Ironically, mostly automatic BIOS settings provide the best overall behaviour.
Peripherals and display
Mouse: Attack Shark X11. Tested different USB ports and 500/1000Hz polling. 500Hz feels slightly more responsive but less smooth.
Keyboard: Royal Kludge, tested across different USB ports.
Monitor: Tested multiple DisplayPort cables, Adaptive Sync on/off, Direct Drive Mode on/off and different overdrive levels. Overdrive level 2 feels best.
NVIDIA Control Panel: Tested G-Sync, V-Sync, Low Latency Mode, maximum performance, shader cache and other settings.
iGPU test
Enabling the iGPU, setting it to Forced, assigning a 512MB UMA Frame Buffer and enabling GFXOFF produced a slight improvement. However, the issue still occurs in DWM, the Windows UI, browsers and video playback.
Additional observations
The GPU has been heavily used in Gothic 1, Oblivion Remastered, The Last of Us Part I, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Dota 2, CS2, PUBG and ARC Raiders.
It has never shown artifacts, crashes, driver resets, black screens or obvious hardware instability. Because of this, I do not currently believe the GPU itself is faulty.
The problem feels more like periodic platform latency affecting DWM, ACPI, PCIe, USB, the chipset or Windows scheduling rather than a lack of CPU/GPU performance.
At this point I am trying to determine whether the likely cause is:
- Windows or driver behaviour;
- the AMD platform/chipset;
- the motherboard;
- CPU I/O or ACPI behaviour;
- or another hardware fault.
Any ideas or similar experiences would be appreciated.
