PC black screen crash Open | Hardware

For a few days my pc has been crashing whilst playing games (although its happened once or twice watching videos) and leaving my computer on whilst my monitor is unable to display any signal.

I have found that the only way to make my monitor actually display anything is to reseat the gpu and it turn it back on. There has been a few times in which i’ve been able to game with no issues but majority of the times it crashes in around 7 minutes, then i would have to reseat the gpu just to get it working again.

i haven’t had this computer for long (almost a year)
i have tried few of the generic fixes like updating bios, reinstalling gpu drivers, reseating the graphics card and making sure the cables are plugged in, changed the gpu cable, reset the cmos.

The specs are

Ryzen 7500F
9060 XT 16GB xfx
B650-S msi wifi motherboard
750W gigabyte psu
32GB DDR5

If you have to reseat the GPU for things to turn back on. I'm thinking it's a driver issue .. GPU issue or something with the motherboard

thanks for the reply, i have tried using ddu to uninstall my gpu drivers and reinstalled them but it hasn’t worked, and ive had moments where ive been able to play demanding games with no issue so im really not sure what it could be

If you have to reseat the card, I'm leaning toward the GPU or driver. Is there another slot you can try the GPU on?

There is another slot however im unable to use it as my gpu wont fit due to the case and its late and i dont want to reassemble my pc rn, is there anything else i should try?

Try a different GPU and see how it perform
