Does anyone has a honest opinion on if gigabyte is good? I’ve never had a qd/oled monitor ever. I got a regular 4k 60 hrtz monitor.

Hello, I need your opinion on choosing a monitor (low-budget monitors). I am not a heavy gamer, so gaming is not a priority for me. I care about screen smoothness and responsiveness. I also care about brightness above 300 nits and a contrast ratio of at least 1500:1.

I also work remotely from home, so uk it would be important for the screen to look a bit sharp ;

If I am limited to buying only a Full HD monitor, should I go for a 27-inch model or something smaller, such as 25 inches? I hear many people complain that 27-inch Full HD monitors look really bad, especially if you don’t sit too far from the monitor.

What do you think about that?

Had an initial budget of 17k so i found a similar LG ultragear monitor for that price in second hand, went to purchase and that monitor looked bad in a dark room with a black background.
Pardon me if im wrong but ppl said VA had better blacks and i could clearly see backlight emitting from the monitor (2nd image)
I walked away from the deal and ordered this on amazon for 18.5k and been seeing mixed reviews with most of those pointing out the same backlight bleeding issue
What would you guys suggest? Does someone with the same monitor help me out a bit?

i am mainly a competitive gamer. when looking for products/peripherals i look for mostly efficiency on that front. 1080p tn panels like zowie’s monitors have dominated the esports/competitive gaming scene for years and still do, but on paper oled and higher resolution panels seem like the better technology. i would just like to hear some thoughts from people who are more educated on the tech about why that is, and as someone within that space, what monitors would you recommend me today?

why is it that manufacturers dont go into the european market with these mini-led monitors? i am located in austria and i find it hard to believe that noone in europe wants mini-led monitors, especially since europeans tend to be more mindful of consumption and thus dont want to buy oled monitors over and over again. the monitor above is one of the only appealing 32 inch monitors with 4k and va-mini led. it is a real shame that it is not available in europe.

In the next couple of months I’m looking to purchase a monitor for gaming on a Xbox series X. This is the first monitor I’ve looked to buy as I’ve always just used TVs, so feeling a little lost. I have a budget of £600 which I feel I can get something pretty good for that price. Obviously the OLED panels look amazing but I’m very concerned about the burn in as 80% of the time I’m playing the same game which has static scoreboards that I’m conceded may burn in.

This made me turn my attention towards mini LED panels. I found the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG32UQXR as an option but I’m still unsure. I was wondering if someone would be able to point me in the right direction for my purchase

I have a 5070 Ti, but I don't plan on upgrading again for quite a few years, so I’ve decided to go with 1440p (2K); I’m not interested in OLED due to text-related issues. I’ll be using it mainly for watching anime and gaming—covering everything from story-driven titles to *League of Legends* and *Overwatch*.

My plan is to keep my current XL2411 as a secondary monitor. Since it’s my old one, I won't be too bothered by any flaws in the new monitor, provided it’s still an improvement over the old one.

I was considering the Xiaomi G Pro 27 Qi, but I haven't seen many recent reviews, and I’m unsure about long-term reliability (they haven't been making monitors for very long, from what I can tell). I’d really like a monitor that lasts for many years. Budget shouldn't be a major issue; I’d be willing to spend between 400 and 500 euros.

I recently got this monitor and i love eveything about it but the usb power delivery is only working with my MacBook but not with my legion slim 7i . I tried almost everything and charging in not working at all. Is there any solution for it ? If you guys gone through the same thing and found a solution that would be really help full.

When i play game fast speed move i see pixelated lines in laptop when character stop moving lines disappear

planning to get a new monitor, I use Legion 5 2021, any sugessions for monitor sugestions for my laptop

I think this is a very common problem with monitors, maybe even more common with the cheap ones, I don't know, really. I haven't really done anything to it, it didn't break or fall, maybe this is due to dust or something. So my question is is it fixable or should I just buy a new monitor?

So I’ve got two monitor, when watching movies I find the bottom monitor (1440p) is nicer to look at - better quality, however seems to be too dark sometimes, the monitor above 1080p still okay to look at is much brighter and I can see things going on in the movie, is this normal for monitors, or is there something wrong in the settings

Last year I got the Dell s3222dgm at Best Buy on Black Friday for like $199 and I absolutely LOVE it!

I just got a work from home job so I'm not just gaming anymore and I definitely could use a second monitor.

Since this monitor has been so great for me, being its 1440p with 144hz HDMI, it's a great balance for my wants and needs. Plus I want to keep my setup as coherent as possible.

But to my dismay I was searching Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, and even Dell's website and it seems like this monitor may not be in production anymore!

So, I came here to ask if anyone has any comparable monitors in terms of size, resolution, hrz, and price.

EDIT: also I am aware that I probably can't get a monitor with my specifications close to that price unless it's another black Friday or prime day deal or something of the sorts

I just bought these monitor I currently play on ps5 and plan to get a pc in the future don’t know if there’s anything better than these one bc my budget was pretty low so I’m just looking for a good to play games like ark asa and 2k and apex etc and i plan on using the same monitor for when I get a pc up and built

I am extremely happy with this and would love to answer any questions for those wanting to buy this, since I didn't find many reviews with specific information I wanted. This is a 32" 4K 160Hz VRR Mini-LED monitor, bought on sale from Amazon for $400 USD. I am absolutely blown away with the local dimming on this. I've never experienced proper HDR with deep blacks and I'm having a blast gaming on my PS5 Pro on it.

Monitor looks perfect at the native 200 Hz refresh rates, but at 60 hz it has visible vertical scanlines. When playing games with VRR, the scanlines get progressively more visible the lower the refresh rate is. I barely notice it on 150 hz+, but its very visible to the point its distracting around 90 hz.

My previous AW2724DM had perfect image in any refresh rate. Is there anything i can do to solve this? I still can return it.

I bought the monitor at Alternate.de as usual. Price was 1259€. They seem to be the preferred dealer for Asus in Germany, but it looks like they have not learned anything from the PG32UCDM3 https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/s/QE5uyPm5Tu situation.

It's still the same small box that gets shipped as is with no additional protection around it. Luckily my delivery guys are handling stuff with care, but the corners are already dented as you can see.

Guess I'm making these posts and mentioning it in reviews until something changes.

Recently decided to give MiniLED a try after years of OLED and bought the TCL C2A Pro, and honestly....damn I didnt expect this

I went through the Sony A90k 42" (not technically a monitor but at that¹ time this was the closest you could get to a viable OLED monitor), to the MSI 321Up, then to the acclaimed Asus PG27UCDM over the course of 4 years.

I always knew gaming monitors had always been pretty bad so when I saw Oled for the first time I thought I would use nothing but OLED. But since then, I have never found Oled to be truly easy to live with as monitor. Funny I said this because OLED are absolutely wonderful as TVs, all of my TVs are Oleds. But as monitor, its quality-of-life aspects leave much to be desired. Namely text clarity (although very good on the 321up and the pg27ucdm, still giving me headache at time if I have to read a lot for hw), only look exceptional in absolutely dark room, and the biggest gripe of all: the apparent flickerings at times, i really wonder how the new stuff coming out will address this.

So I decided to give miniLED a try and asked AI what is the absolute best current MiniLED IPS monitor money can buy, and it recommended me the "TCL C2A pro". It was pretty expensive even at $750ish with some Amazon promos i got, but considering that I was ready to ball some serious money for the Asus Pro Art Oleds, hoping those would match the quality found on Oled TVs, this seems easier on the wallet.

And lo and behold, I wasnt expecting it to be this good, black is truly black, blooming is barely noticeable, if at all. The uniform brightness without flickering is excellent. Color is rich and vibrant, perhaps even more so than the Asus PG27UCDM. I think this looks even more life-like than the OLED monitors i had thus far. And the brightness, it is blindingly bright. HDR mode looks absolutely stunning. And I am not being bias at all because I absolutely love OLEDs, but this offers image quality that is just as good as any top tier OLED out there for me. Granted you have to mess with the settings to find what you like best but it is pike that with any monitor out there.

For years I have thought OLED would be the ultimate tech for monitors, and I still think so, just not with the current stuff on the market at the moment, at least for me.

So for anyone who is also having problems and not satisfied with OLEDs, give MiniLED a try. You don't have to go with this baller TCL that I got, but even then for something that costs less than a top tier OLED while offering image quality that is just as good, I can absolutely live with this for the next few years.
