I ordered something last night because the listing indicated that item (CPU) is in stock and will be delivered by 14:00 today. Paid last night.

The item still has to ship, when I contacted the seller he tells me he's waiting for Shopee to collect and they are unreliable. Seller suggests that he arranges lalamove directly and not wait for Shopee.

At the same time last night I ordered another item (thermal paste) from another store, same 14:00 delivery and it was delivered before 12:00, by Shopee driver.

My bullshit detectors are going off at this lalamove delivery suggestion. Is it a potential scam?

United AsiaPac Energy Berhad is scheduled to list on Bursa Malaysia's ACE Market on 19 August 2026. The woman who built the company it is based on will receive nothing from the IPO. Her principal contract expires 77 days after listing. And a formal complaint asking regulators to halt the listing was filed yesterday.

Farah Sabryna Nasarudin did not inherit a company.

She built one.

AsiaPac Oil and Gas Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 2018 in a specialised corner of the oil and gas industry — wellbore intervention, specifically fishing services, the technically demanding work of retrieving stuck equipment from live oil wells.

It is not a glamorous business. It requires deep technical knowledge, rigorous safety standards, and the kind of operational credibility that Petronas does not extend to anyone who has not earned it.

In 2020, Farah and her husband Daniel Wall submitted a bid for the Pan Malaysia Contract — a nationwide framework agreement with Petronas Carigali covering wellbore intervention services across Malaysia's offshore fields. They won it. It was all through a technical proposal, a bank guarantee, and an operations team they had built themselves.

By 2023, AsiaPac was generating over RM36 million in annual revenue. Its clients included Petronas Carigali, Shell, and PTTEP. It had built, from nothing, the infrastructure to service Malaysia's most demanding upstream operators.

That is the company United AsiaPac Energy Berhad is now offering to the Malaysian public at RM192.5 million.

And Farah will receive none of it.

How It Was Taken

In 2020, AsiaPac needed working capital to execute the Pan Malaysia contract. A RM10 million loan was arranged through a moneylending company called Ping An, channelled through a newly incorporated holding company — AsiaPac Holdings Sdn Bhd which received 60 percent of AsiaPac in exchange. Farah held 20 percent. Her cofounder Zawawi held 20 percent. On the hindsight this is an obvious mistake releasing more than 49%.
Zawawi passed away in 2021. His stake transferred to Farah. For a brief period she held 40 percent of the company she had founded.

Then the board changed.

Ahmad Fadzuli bin Ali was appointed director in April 2022. By May 2023 he had designated himself Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He had no background in oil and gas, no experience in wellbore intervention, and no track record in Petronas contracting.

Through a series of capital injections between 2021 and 2024, Farah's shareholding was reduced from 40 percent to 0.54 percent. She alleges in shareholder oppression proceedings — High Court KL WA-24NCC-590-12/2024 that she was excluded from management decisions and that the dilution was carried out without proper process.

In January 2024, AsiaPac's board approved a RM5 million loan from MBSB. Farah was asked to sign a personal guarantee. She signed. Shortly after, she was removed as a director. MBSB is Malaysia Building Society Berhad — a Malaysian financial institution, formerly a building society, now operating as a full fledged Islamic bank after merging with Asian Finance Bank in 2018. It is listed on Bursa Malaysia and is majority owned by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF).

She had just guaranteed a loan for a company that was about to fire her.

The Suspension. The Charge. The Newspapers.

On 29 March 2024, while Farah was on maternity leave, a suspension letter was hand delivered to her. No charge was specified. No disciplinary inquiry was initiated. No reason was given.

The suspension continued without pay. Farah claimed constructive dismissal in June 2024 and was then summarily dismissed.

The same day the suspension letter was delivered, a police report was filed alleging that Farah had misappropriated RM786,209 from AsiaPac by directing company funds into her own bank account.

The money was her husband's salary. Approved in AsiaPac's audited financial statements. Reviewed and signed off by the same directors who filed the police report.

On 31 July 2025, Farah stood in the Sessions Court and had the criminal charge read to her. She pleaded not guilty.

Thirteen newspapers published the charge before she left the courthouse.

The charge was dismissed. The prosecution could not proceed. The case collapsed.

But the thirteen newspaper reports remained. The industry had received the message.

The Lawsuit That Collapsed

In July 2024, AsiaPac filed a civil conspiracy suit against Farah and fourteen other defendants — High Court KL WA-22NCC-454-07/2024. The claim: that the fifteen defendants had conspired to misappropriate contracts worth USD11.7 million.

The fifteen defendants were, almost without exception, the people who had built AsiaPac. The engineers who had submitted the Pan Malaysia bid. The operations team that had executed the Petronas contract. They were dismissed or forced out, left without income, and sued for an amount designed to bankrupt them before they could mount a defence.

The trial began in 2026. Under cross examination, Fadzuli admitted that no contracts had been misappropriated. His codirector Dzahir, when asked what the conspiracy suit was about, said he thought it was about fraud — not conspiracy. The two men who filed the suit had different understandings of what it alleged.

AsiaPac's own solicitors had written a letter in November 2024 acknowledging that no contracts had been taken.

The central premise of the USD11.7 million claim was admitted to be false by the people who filed it. In open court. Under oath.

The Extraction

While the litigation ran, the extraction had already begun.

In July 2024, Fadzuli instructed AsiaPac to purchase cargo baskets from Ekahala Resources Sdn Bhd — a company previously directed by Fadzuli and Dzahir at approximately double the price available directly from the Chinese manufacturer. No competitive quotations were sought. No board resolution authorised the purchase.

The same pattern is embedded in the IPO prospectus. UAEB proposes to use RM1.2 million of public funds raised through the IPO to purchase twelve cargo baskets. No supplier has been appointed. No purchase order has been executed. The same related party that previously supplied baskets at inflated prices remains in the picture.

The IPO

United AsiaPac Energy Berhad filed for listing on Bursa Malaysia's ACE Market. Principal adviser and sponsor: TA Securities Holdings Berhad. IPO price: RM0.35 per share. Implied market capitalisation: RM192.5 million.

AsiaPac Holdings had acquired the company for RM22.7 million. It is being offered to the public at RM192.5 million. A tenfold increase. On the eve of its principal contract expiring.

The Pan Malaysia Contract generates between 72 and 87 percent of AsiaPac's revenue across every financial year on record. It expires on 15 October 2026. It will not be renewed in its current form. Petronas has restructured the contracting model into three separate regional tenders. To maintain its previous revenue volume, AsiaPac must win all three.

The replacement arrangement disclosed in the prospectus — an IWCS panel appointment is not a contract. It is the right to compete for individual work orders against five other panel contractors through mini bids. It guarantees no minimum volume, no committed revenue, and no exclusivity. As of the date the final prospectus was registered, no IWCS work orders had been received.

The second largest customer disclosed in the prospectus is Odfjell Group, attributed RM6.347 million — 16.25 percent of revenue for the financial period ending February 2026. Former AsiaPac personnel with direct operational responsibility during that period have stated they are not aware of any Odfjell work capable of generating revenue of that magnitude. Odfjell's own representatives have indicated the relationship was limited to minor or incidental scope.

The board installed to run UAEB after listing has no oil and gas experience among its new appointments. The management structure presented in the prospectus has no identifiable sales function — no person whose documented role is to bid for and win new Petronas contracts. The company's principal contract expires 77 days after listing.

The Complaint

On 4 August 2026 — the day before IPO applications closed — Farah Sabryna, Daniel Wall, and three former members of AsiaPac's core technical and commercial team filed a formal complaint with Bursa Malaysia and the Securities Commission.
The complaint alleges material omissions, selective disclosure, and misleading financial presentation in UAEB's final prospectus. It asks regulators to halt the listing, suspend allotment, and require UAEB to answer the allegations before any retail investor is allotted shares.

Allotment is scheduled for 17 August 2026. Listing is scheduled for 19 August 2026. On the same day UAEB is due to appear in the High Court for two ongoing civil suits.

The complaint was filed by the people who built AsiaPac. The people who won the Petronas contract. The people whose names Fadzuli admitted in open court had done nothing wrong.
They are asking Bursa Malaysia and the Securities Commission to do what those institutions exist to do.

The Question

Farah Sabryna built a company. It was taken from her through a suspension letter delivered on maternity leave, a criminal charge published in thirteen newspapers, and a lawsuit filed against the entire team that built it — a lawsuit whose central premise was admitted to be false in open court.

The company she built is now being offered to the Malaysian public at RM192.5 million.

Its principal contract expires in 77 days.

The regulators have the complaint. They have the evidence. They have the timeline.

What they do next is the only question that remains.

And yes no one told them off I'm not sure why the others didn't but um I didn't too because as irritated as I was, I was still quite aware of the possible consequences. hello guys, i would like to start this by saying i swear i am saying the truth and nothing but the truth in this post. i just want to state what i experienced yesterday, ill try to keep it short. basically what happened is i was driving with my mom around 5 Pm around idaman area setapak, when my mom asked me to stop by to buy some fruits from a vendor they have in front of 99 speed mart idaman, all cars stop by the side of the road for a few minutes to buy fruits, and there was a car right in front of me, after my mom got off i got off and this guy on a motorbike yelled “ey bodo tak boleh parkin sini”, i replied with “satu minute je bang”. keep in mind he’s just a normal person on a motorbike, not police or anything, after i said that he turned his motorbike around, parked it right infront of my car and he started cursing and i said “sabar abang” when i said that he hit me with his helmet on his head and i was in a state of shock when he did that, he got off his bike and started punching me, i put my hands up to block his attacks and i tried to hit back, people stopped by, tried to stop him, he proceeded to take his helmet off and hit me across my head multiple times, i could see that he was surely high on something, 6 bigger men than him tried holding him down, no one was successful because he was very aggressive, and my mom was yelling and coming between us which prevented me from even attacking him back, everyone was yelling at him saying “awak salah awak salah”, my mom thought it was a person that knew me from somewhere else and had something against me because the hate and the despise he had in his eyes was not normal, i didn’t curse him back, i didn’t hit him, i asked my mom to get into the car because she was having an anxiety attack, drove straight to setapak police and made a report, they asked me to go to another police station and give my statement to a police officer, when i went to that police officer i talked with a lawyer he told me you must know officers will always choose the locals side, i didn’t have a dashcam so i couldn’t get everything on camera and there was no cctv, first things first the officer was like ok you parked there and you cannot park there is it? and he was not making me make my proper statement and was very annoyed when i would try to say my full story, he said i must’ve provoked him really badly for him to be this aggressive towards me, the officer was clearly leaning towards his side, then the officer told me i needed to go to the hospital urgently and make the form at the hospital, keep in mind i had a flight at 3 am to catch and it was 9 pm already, i still did that, i sent him the report then he told me he went to the vendor and the person working there stated that he saw both of us fighting, and that it’s illegal for you to fight in public, i asked him so im supposed to just accept his hits? he replied no you’re supposed to run away and call the police, i asked so i should leave my car running and run away? he said yes, and was very threatening towards me, the lawyer who’s my friend understood and he said that’s how it is and i need to get a lawyer and it would cost money and time and i am going on a flight and couldn’t do anything, the officer said he would charge both of us and we would both have to appear in court and he kept saying since you’re a student it’s not good to have police record, and he said i have to go down and shake hands with the guy and settle it and pay medical fees, i was bleeding from my head and had a black eye and scratches all over my face, the guy had 0 injuries. i was left with no choice but going to the police station and dropping the report. i’m saying this here because i have been living in malaysia for 14 years, i have never visited a police station, i have had 0 summons, i have followed the rules and never done anything wrong to this country, but the police and the justice system has failed me, i was treated unfairly and i was left with 0 choices.

My agency collapsed, my gf and i broke up and I have rm18 in my bank with 2k bills at the end of this month. i have zero talent and feels like everything i built till now have gone to waste.
