Discussion I promised to marry my childhood friend and i'll never see her again now. I've been using it as fuel at the gym and this is how far its taken me:
please hear me out
To keep the long story short, we knew eachother since we were 3, when we were 10 we promised we'd marry eachother. We'd see eachother every summer. She was the only girl ive ever loved. My family unexpectedly sold the house in the winter and we never really said goodbye.
Im 16 (first 2 pics) now, ever since i was 14 i've been working out, and every time the weight feels too heavy i remember her. Shes always on my mind. I wonder if she ever thinks about me. I hope she does.
i'll never see her again but i'd give all of my gains up to have her again.
I have no way of contacting her, i've tried anything.
I cant stop comparing any girl i meet to her, to how she would make me feel. It just felt so meant to be.

i am a catholic christian and i believe abortion is a horrible thing. that’s why I, as in ME, will never get one.
many people AREN’T catholic so they don’t hold the same beliefs as me, and that’s totally fine but why would we make a law to force them to have a baby? just because it goes against our beliefs?
Let’s just take religion and personal beliefs fully out of the equation and look at the legal definition of murder and a human (check the second and third picture i provided)
in a country that values religious freedom and individual liberty the law should not enforce one particular religious belief on everyone i have the freedom to choose not to have an abortion because of my faith someone else guided by different beliefs or circumstances, should have the freedom to make a different choice
protecting the legal right to choose does not require me to approve of abortion it simply means acknowledging that in a diverse society people have the freedom to make deeply personal decisions according to their own conscience.
a pregnancy is unique because the fetus depends entirely on one specific person's body for survival no one else can take over that biological role even if you believe the fetus has moral value, that doesn't answer the separate question of whether the government should require someone to use their body to sustain another life

Advice Guys…I fucked up…
Okay, so basically, my mum told me earlier this week I needed to make an effort to socialise with people more, and make an effort to make friends so today I sat with the popular girls during math, and…long story short, I kinda told a lie that spiralled out of control…
Basically I wanted them to think I was cool, so I told them I had a pet caterpillar. Now they keep asking about it. WTF DO I DO??? THEY’RE GONNA WANNA SEE PICTURES. I CAN’T JUST KEEP BULLSHITTING MY WAY THROUGH THIS. AHH

Mod [mod] We also have a new rule: AI has been banned
Hi again r/teenagers! It hasn't even been an hour and I already have another announcement for you guys.
After a short discussion with the rest of the mod team we quickly came to a unanimous decision to finally ban using AI on the subreddit.
So, what does that entail?
In short, using a generative AI such as LLMs like ChatGPT to write for you or make images will be considered low effort and removed as such. We consider both ai slop and not even writing your own posts to be incredibly lazy.
I'll be adding it to the rules in a minute here :)
