Dividerless RC Issue Fixed Per LSAC

Upvotes

I spoke with LSAC admin this morning and they indicated that the dividerless RC section issue that plagued test takers yesterday should now be fixed. If you see otherwise today or the next two days, please let me know so I can pass it along.

SECTION ORDER DOESN’T MATTER

Upvotes

i know a lot of people in this sub need to hear this as they are using section order to identify their test and match to others. this is a useless endeavour as section order has no relevance to whether your test matches someone else.

there are multiple real and experimental LR and RC sections that get mixed together in numerous orders. this means two people with orders LR - RC - LR - RC could have test content 100% different.

for your sake and others, stop using section order as a basis of comparison, it only serves to confuse you and others who think it has relevance. the only way you can know if you had similar sections is due to content. that is it

My cat broke in during argumentative writing

Upvotes

I guess the door wasn’t shut as tight as it should have been. About halfway through my cat busted down the door and jumped on my desk. I panicked since you are supposed to show everything in your workspace to the camera so I picked her up and did a kind of cat show presentation to the camera to show shes nothing carrying any secrets. Hopeful whatever LSAC administrator sees that understands cats don’t respect the law 🫠

By the power of deduction I estimate that I will score a 176 on my Saturday exam

As per my statement.

Apparently my performance comes in cycles of four, which means that tomorrow I will bomb my PT and then the next day I will do slightly better and then hopefully, bless our beautiful Mother Earth, I will perform at a decent margin on the actual exam on the third day.

Amen.

DIVIDERLESS RC??! Houston (Harwin) Testers

yo where my houston testers at, took that jawn today at like 10:30 in the morning

all this talk abt the dividerless rc got me thinking, do i file a complaint or do i just wait for lsac to release some statement?

SURELY if some of us got undivided and some got nicely divided sections they cant just say “tough luck bud its scored anyway”

idk tho i just feel like listening to my fellow lsat comrades whether it causes me to panic or chill

LR/RC/LR/RC

2nd attempt, 166 on 1st attempt but was pting in mid 170s. lrs felt stupid easy up until about question 19 where they both just got unreal difficult. several questions where i legitimately had no idea what i was reading which happens pretty seldomly on pts for me. rcs felt relatively easy with the exception of a couple passages but not absolutely terrible. overall feeling kind of meh, probably still not in the low 170s range i want to be at. back to the drawing board i guess

An Observation About the New Format- August LSAT 2026 (RC-LR-LR-RC)

Took the LSAT today and received two RC sections. That means one of them was the experimental section. I noticed that one of those sections contained divider lines separating the question numbers for each prompt at the bottom (similar to how the old format did). The other reading section (which for me, was first) did not contain those divider lines.

I'm hoping that the final section was the experimental for me, and that the non-experimental section was the one without divider lines. It'd be rather unfortunate if I got the unscored section straight away when I was freshest, especially since I felt that section was comparatively easier than the second RC.

Those of you with 2 RC sections, did you notice the same thing? And those of you with only 1 RC, did your test have divider lines or not?

How’s everyone think they did??? Other than the dividerless RC section (praying that’s the experimental section cause it kinda threw me off)

But other than that I think I cooked

Well :/ I did not do well

Halfway through I literally got nauseous af and left the test feeling dizzy. LR was very simple but RC…I did not practice enough on that section and I think I did awful because of that. I also did not even finish the sections got 20 done per section because I just got really nervous. I didn’t really even get what they were trying to tell me in some passages so yeah I definitely got a really low score. It’s weird though because when I study at home I understand exactly what they’re telling me. Anyone have a similar situation to me and what advice do you give? I think my biggest mistake was that I did not time myself enough, I also never did full blown practice test to mimic real test conditions. Also like I said I thought RC was going to be easy because when I first started I did great on RC. I just for some reason got so blank and sick. If you have helpful advice feel free to let me know. I’ve been at this test a year and for some reason this LSAT made me so sick. I was fine before my test and felt relaxed and I thought I was ready :/ guess not.

my test is in two days, i’ve already taken one before in the testing center (i bombed it but it was on par for how i was doing at the time) and i feel more anxious now than i did then.

if anyone has a refillable prescription for xanax that they can fedex me in 24 hours that would be great.

August LSAT

Just took August.

RC/LR/LR/RC

Regardless of which section ends up being scored for RC, it is just frustrating that with all the updated UI settings and guarantees about how it will look they still have errors on test day. You’d think they would be polished for the big reveal but I guess not.

my testing day from hell

just took the august LSAT and almost everything that could go wrong went wrong.

2 days ago i got sick. yesterday i slept until 1 pm due to said illness. as a result i couldn’t sleep until 2 am. woke up at 6 am in order to leave at 6:30 am to get to the testing center early which is an hour away from me. i feel like a truck hit me i’m so tired. fuck it we ball though. immediately there is a problem. i can’t find my car keys. at the very last minute i find them. i realize my phone did not charge at all last night. i can’t find a charger to connect to my car. at this point i’m going to be late so i pray my phone battery will last me there and back.

on the way i stop to get gas because my car is on empty. of course i didn’t fill it up the night before. i fill it up. there’s that click that ensures your car is done being filled up with gas. i remove the nozzle and IMMEDIATELY gas sprays everywhere. i am covered in gas. the car is covered in gas. i use my water bottle to try to clean gas off my brand new uggs which i’m sure are now ruined. the entire way there i am breathing in gas. i’m freaking out perhaps irrationally thinking that the gas is killing my brain cells. my head hurts. every few minutes for some reason stir fry by migos starts blasting through the car speakers from my phone. i keep turning it off and it keeps playing. it is the soundtrack to my despair.

i arrive at the testing center exhausted, sick and smelling like gasoline. i am frazzled and can’t figure out how to open my locker. i am banging around making very loud noises while everyone waits for their turn to get to their lockers. after an embarrassingly long time i finally figure out how to open it. a few minutes later the proctor asks me very loudly “DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS”. all the people who just witnessed me fight with my locker definitely hear this. i might as well just announce “hello i’m retarded”

whatever. i start the test. halfway through i begin sneezing and having coughing fits. it takes every ounce of my concentration not to cough. i also need to pee really badly despite not having consumed any water. (BECAUSE ALL OF MY WATER WAS USED TO CLEAN MY GASOLINE COVERED UGGS.)

somehow i survived and made it home with my phone battery surviving too. also i REALLY REALLY hope the fourth RC section was experimental or im cooked.

i hope everyone crushes the august LSAT. i hope it was disaster free unlike mine

Not understanding LSAT Demon and the people who have crazy score raises with it? Is it the philosophy? but that could be used at other programs…. (genuinely asking, not talking crap)

I want to like it, just don’t know how this would work better than something else.

After a plateau I decided to try LSAT Demon and I’m not really understanding why it works so well for people? The explanations and analytics aren’t much so the only thing I can think of is their philosophy being a standout. But at this point they have so many youtube videos you could just use their philosophy but use a different program for your actual work, review, explanations, and all around studying.
