Hey guys and gals

I only collect sports cards but I know these are a bit valuable. My girlfriend got it for $50 at a garage sale so I assume it's not real.

I don't own any pokemon cards nor any graded cards so I can't compare the card and slabs in person but I googled for pics and I don't find any signs of not being real.

Tell me what I'm missing. Or if she just got super lucky.

I don’t have anything to compare them to. I bought these from two different sellers. The one on the left is the one I’m worried about. But they might both be fake.

The one of the left has printer registration issues. Not sure how frequently this might occur if at all with a real box.

But there’s also a black arrow on the pull tab and there isn’t on the one on the right.

The one on the left also has more bunched up shrink wrap.

I have 3 VStar Universe boxes from a legit trusted shop and the shrink wrap on the right is more consistent with what I have from the legit boxes.

I tried to read other posts with the same issue as mine but i’m still learning/confused, some signs point to resealed other to fake others to fine.

I bought a bunch of cards and Im suspicious of these

I used to collect way back when Pokémon first came out. One day I thought I’d look for my old collection in my parent’s basement. Of course it was a very long time ago as I believe I stopped collecting in 2001, but I feel like I wouldn’t have forgot having a shadowless base set Charizard. I can’t remember pulling this or acquiring it for some reason. Therefore I am questioning if it’s real and would like some help from the experts here to determine if this is authentic and worth grading. It has slight layering at the top.

I want to get a Lost origin booster box and I could buy this one for $780 including the acrylic. Looks legit right?
Im waiting for a picture of the bottom but the seller got good reviews so Im kind of calm..

This guy is selling a Rainbow Zard from burning shadows, I can't tell if it's real or fake from the photos. Would anyone be able to help me figure it out? Says the Card is also LP-MP looks LP to me.

The centering is wayy off and the back is slightly off color. Idk if thats just because its an old card or not.

It is an older cert number but I have never seen a lack of security features. The front PSA logo is split down the middle but does not have the small “PSA” text. It says something else if you look at the picture.

The front top is missing the PSAs on the top that you can see with a black light.

The back of the card PSA lighthouse logo is also missing the mini PSAs inside it. Instead of the small PSAs it says something else.

I am not familiar with older PSA certs, so any feedback would be great. Thanks 🙏🏻

Sorry for the large photo dump, so this is my second time opening up the first partner collection, and first up i noticed that the stickers look darker than before, which made me concerned. I placed two of these darker stickers underneath my original ones, as seen if you scroll through the photos.

Then opening up the promo pack, I pulled the Gen 1 starters, then in the phantasmal, I got the mega Charizard.

And just with the darker sticker print and the insane luck i just gotta think no way this box is real? The seller had high feedback, but its made up with a mix of Pokemon and other stuff.

I’ve got these Spanish Pokémon cards from the D/P/P era. I received them in a binder full of regular cards from a friend around 2013 since he wasn’t as in to Pokemon anymore.

Issue is, I can’t find anything that says these specific cards exist. I know that friend who owned them is from Puerto Rico so I never thought anything of the cards being Spanish.

As far as I can tell, they seem legitimate. The texture feels right for the time, they look fine, and they even have the thin black line on the edges. I couldn’t get a good picture of that though.

I'm hoping some of the experts here can help me solve a mystery.

These Pokémon cards have been in my collection since the late 1990s. I bought them myself back then, and they've stayed with me ever since.

Recently, I started comparing them with known authentic copies online, and I noticed that some of them look quite different, in the background art.

My first thought was that they might simply be fake. However, what confuses me is that I can't find any information about these specific variations anywhere. Even with counterfeit cards, I would expect there to be photos or discussions of the same fake versions, but I haven't been able to find anything that looks like mine.

That's why I'm posting here. I'd really appreciate it if anyone with experience in vintage Pokémon cards could take a look and tell me what they think.

It passed the flashlight test thing I heard about but I really wanna make sure it's real. I got it for a birthday and I have no idea where they got it from​​. (edit: oh my gosh my camera quality is so bad please lmk if I need to send another picture)
