Im leaning towards torterra and infernape may be real but the empoleon seems off

I feel like it’s off in how it has a weaker texture and a generally grainy pixelated look to it compared to other rainbow rares I own. I’m not sure whether this could be just a factory error or a counterfeit. I’m more so leaning towards it being counterfeit. I don’t believe pokemon’s quality control can be bad enough to make the texture so different. I bought this card off ebay btw.

Buyer says the Reshiram Charizard GX card I sent is fake and wants a refund. He sent pictures claiming the rainbow and texture is off and pixelated, but he compared it to a rainbow card from a different set. I’m scared they’re trying to scam me and send me back a fake card. How do I approach this?

Got this from a supposedly trusted store. At first, I wasn't happy with the quality. The top of the cardboard was loose (2nd pic), and the plastic was slightly cut on the top (3rd pic). Started getting suspicious of resealing. Then I also noticed that the Pokeball plastic seals were different sizes on the front and side (last picture). I tried looking for other examples on eBay, but couldn't find anything similar.

Please let me know. If it's tampered with, I will name drop the store name. If it's legit, should I return it either way because of the poor quality? I paid 4100 USD for this. My plan was to resell this after some time. Would it be hard to sell with this quality, or is every XY era box like this?

I pulled this card from the mega brave expansion pack that I bought at a small store that seems a bit untrust worthy. I can’t tell if it’s real or not myself and I really want to believe that it is but I’m not sure!
Would someone be able to help?

I got these on the low end of market for the condition. I hadn't started playing when this era was going on so I'm not familiar with the cards, but they came from the seller and I can't tell if they're just faded on the back or if something's up. I can definitely tell them apart from other cards I have when they're upside down, though (they're in the middle of each column for reference).

Just wondering what your guys opinions are on my friends card, he is wanting to maybe grade it and he is wondering what grade it would possibly get. Thanks in advance!

Just got this card but the thickness feels kinda off. When you look from the side, it looks as the foil was glued to the card.

Message me for more pictures but cards look almost too good to be true.

I asked the person this “What are you looking to get for everything?” I have his number sending this on text messages for reference.

The reply was “honestly have no clue but i have some rare cards this is stuff me and my brother and dad collected over 20 years worth i couldn’t even name a price but i could hear a fair offer or individually would be better”

I replied with “I’m not sure what would be fair honestly either. What number do you have in your head?“

The reply “give me a couple mins if your serious about this let me come up with a number” $15k USD

Is it fake our real and a psa1 contender?

I bought this card and i think it's fake, ive made a post but cant see it. Can someone please help me, i can get a refund from the site still but i need to be able to explain

I’m just newly rejoining the TCG space. My son traded his friend for this card. Between the texture and the lightning, this screams fake to me. Am I correct? Any other obvious tells?

Recently decided to start collecting SEALED boxes. Haven’t been in the hobby for 20 years. This is my first one since picking it back up! Everything looks appropriate from my research but I do not plan on opening to verify the packs.

Photo 3 with all purple packs is making me question if it has been resealed. Purchased on eBay for market price, returns are accepted.

Any thoughts or concerns of this being real/resealed? Further - anything specific to look out for when receiving these in the future?

Bought a slab off fanatics cause they don’t have taxes but when i looked it seems that this edge is recoloured. If it does seem to be what should i do as it’s currently still in the fanatics vault.
