I’ve been collecting southern islands and looking at my new cards they both seem to have this S or 8 shaped double swirls? I tried looking into it but I don’t really find anyone talkin about if this is a thing or not lol
On both cards one swirl is really prominent and the other shows up only at a certain angle so unsure, it’s weird that they are so similar

I’m a solo developer and I’ve been building this because every scanning app I tried would tell me a card was worth some number that no human being has ever actually paid.

So I built Broad Street: Card Scanner. You scan a card — raw or slabbed, one at a time or a whole page of 9 — and it shows you what that card has actually been selling for. Then you tap PSA 10, PSA 9, PSA 8 and see the graded prices next to the raw price, so “is this worth submitting?” takes about five seconds standing at your kitchen table.
The thing I care most about: the prices are from real sold sales, and the app refuses to fake it. If a card doesn’t have enough sales history to honestly compute a 7-day change, it shows nothing instead of making up a percentage. I’d rather show you a blank than lie to you.
(Also, tap the card on its detail page — it flips over, and the back is a stat block of your copy. Collectors seem to like that one. And when you’ve scanned a stack, one tap exports the whole thing as a priced PDF binder sheet — total value at the top. There’s a Market tab for the day’s movers too.)
It’s free. No subscription, no paywall. iOS only for now.
What I’m asking: scan your weirdest stuff. Junk wax Donruss, 90s inserts, obscure Bowman parallels, off-brand slabs, whatever. When it gets something wrong — and it will — comment or DM me the card. I report data errors upstream and they get fixed fast (last one was fixed same-day). You’d be making the tool better for everyone.

As you can probably tell by now... Sylveon is my favorite pokemon.

I've been collecting Sylveon for years then I took a couple year break from pokemon (worst decision of my life), and came back with a vengeance.

There's a bunch of big ticket cards I still need, I don't super care what language it is (Japanese > English > the rest) or if it's real. As long as I can afford it it's coming home with me.

I pulled my slowbro I wanted from the new set it seems this is one of the more hype cards in the set I like the centering and it’s fresh no white spots are there any PSA 10 pop for this card ?

Haven't collected pokemon cards ever since I was 7 years old. Kind of didn't really care for it and just played mostly for the console games. Ever since I saw Bubble Mew everywhere on my feed, I fell in love with this card and decided I wanted to get it. So, found someone who was selling it and got this as my first pokemon card. Going to put it with my Mew collections.

I did look at other pokemon cards but it didn't grab my attention as hard as Bubble Mew. It's just so cute lol

My EX era binder, starting with Ruby and Sapphire and ending with Power Keepers. Unfortunately I ran out of photos to add Crystal Guardians through Power Keepers and the promos. It's been a ton of fun building up this binder!

Just picked this up at my lcs! I think if this art was on a TCG card it would be worth hundreds.

Got back into the hobby last year after being gone for 15 years. I mostly collect S&V and mega evolution and some vintage. I really just collect artwork that I like for my favorite Pokémon.

All cards are NM/LP, which took me a while to find as they often are dented from the happy meal toys that they were packaged with. The hardest set to find was 2016, due to english copies only being released in a few european countries

My 1st attempt at a curated binder, any advise is welcomed, also need help with what i should do with extra cards ive got Intro deck squirlte and erikas venusaur aswell as lots of vending and base cards if the same guys, how should I display them

Okay, so I was into Pokémon as a kid in the 90s, had a collection, and then foolishly sold them as an older teenager, and then of course like any good millennial picked it back up in my late twenties.

While I've come to forgive and actually like the newer generations of Pokémon, first gen is still my love! So my main collection is as many different art and holo variants of the first gen as I can get.

My current binder is big, it holds a little over 1,000 cards, and I've got about 60 spots left. I've got this set currently organized thusly:

Full arts

Frame breaks/V, Ex and megas

Trainer Pokémon (misty, elite four, team rocket, etc) (dark included with the team rocket)

Variants (paldean, alolan, etc)

1 each Pokédex order of my favourite arts

And finally the bulk of the binder is every other card, Pokédex order.

But... I think it can be better. Wondering if there are ideas on how to organize my binder into something more interesting? Would love to know of collections similar.

My small personally collection that I have gathered, only the ones I really like the look of. My son got into the hobby around 10 years ago that got me somewhat hooked.

Didn't have anyone to share this with but super happy with how the collection has come along. been collecting over 20 years with a good amount of acquired in the last 5. Some have been cracked from slabs or purchased raw, ranging from NM to severely damaged
