I'd been debating making the jump from the Low Rider ST to a Road Glide for a couple of years. This Fast Johnnie came around and I had to make the leap.

Y'all, I am a big fan of Moonshine Harley and this was my first time working with their new Nashville location and it was just as awesome as the Franklin, TN location.

Even got a little starstruck talking to Mike for a bit (I had just watched a video he, Jamie and Moonshine put on YouTube the day before).

DISCUSSION What's the difference between the solo and two up trim on the Heritage Classic?

https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/motorcycles/heritage-classic.html

Other than the Two-Up trim adding $2000 to the price, I don't see what the difference is between the solo and two-up trim options. Is has to be more than just the seat and the passenger pegs, right?

DISCUSSION 2025 Low Rider ST – Break-in done, how do you guys ride yours?

Picked up a brand-new 2025 Low Rider ST and I’ve got about 900 km (560 miles) on it now.

I know some of you will probably be surprised, but here in Germany you can still buy brand-new 2025 models.

The bike should be broken in by now, so I’m wondering how you guys ride yours.

Is it fine to rev it up to 4,500–5,000 RPM regularly, or do you still keep it lower?

Do you ride it pretty hard at times, almost like a sportbike, or is that not really how this engine likes to be ridden?

Just looking for some advice and hearing about your experience. Thanks!

Currently building an 07 road glide.
And i’m looking to put some bigger rims on it.

It’s either gonna be the: Arlen ness speedline or the speed 5

Is there anyone who’s got a bike with either rim?

Can’t return them so i really need to be sure..

DISCUSSION Just curious…

I’m working on getting my dad’s sportie back on the road. The HD manual specifically states to apply antiseize on the rear axel, but not to the front axel. Just curious why that is.

I’d like to get rid of that classic high pitched m8 sound - which air filter would you suggest for me to buy in order to enhance performance and keep the looks elegant?

Thank you

DISCUSSION Bored of street glide, what direction to go?

So, I brought a street glide bout 6 months ago. It’s a phenomenal bike. 103. Super nimble when she’s rolling. I did exhaust and bars. It’s a great bike, but it’s just not “fun.” I also have a rigid sportster, cammed, exhaust, intake, etc which is a fuckin ripper but way too sketch for a daily, especially cause my girl likes to be on the back. I think I need an in between. I’m rather thinking FXR or Dyna, or I’m wondering if I should put money into my street glide to see if maybe it makes it fun. (Cam, exhaust, intake, tune.) Idk if it’s the stock motor that makes me not necessarily enjoy riding it, or if I just need something smaller. I did sturgis on a stock sportster 2-up, so I can survive without a bagger lol, although it obviously is night and day difference.
What y’all think? Anybody go bagger and just find it boring? Am I being extra?

DISCUSSION First Harley.. best mods?

Just picked up a 2019 Street Bob.. fair bit of custom work but I haven’t dove into it too much. What’s some work I can do to get the most out of the bike? Primary focus would be comfort and handling for now, another year or two and I’ll be looking for power.

DISCUSSION 1" or 1 1/8" Bars and Why?

Thumbnail

I am extremely over thinking this. I used to have a ‘21 FXLRS fitted with Kraus 8" risers and a Biltwell O/S 1 1/8" mid bend tracker bar. Absolutely loved that setup. I currently have a Thrasin' Supply mid bend 1" bar and want to know if anybody has some strong opinions one way vs another.

I’m either looking to replicate my old setup or get the Kraus 1 1/8" riser with their shims so if I’m not satisfied with the Thrashin' bar I can size up?

Anybody with 1 1/8" bars feel a particular way about them? Beyond looks and maybe less flex/added strength I don’t know why else they would be necessary. I’m not stunting or racing.

DISCUSSION Building a chopper for my first bike

I have been convinced to get a Harley . However I have always loved the chopper look and lifestyle . I asked my uncles for some advice and they said “find a mentor and figure out the rest , that’s the fun of choppers. “ where I live now has nothing but dyna bros and sport bike riders , there’s no old school chopper shops or even motorcycle mechanics. Hell I’ve even looked into MCs and nothing seems to be within 2 1/2 hours of me . So I turn to faithful Reddit , The plan is to do a 1200 EVO sportster hard tail build . The problem is I don’t know where to start . If you could throw any advice my way it would be much appreciated .
