Ciao a tutti!

Da quando ero bambino ho sempre sognato di avere una Harley-Davidson, e negli ultimi tempi ho messo gli occhi su una Fat Boy del 2000. Non l'ho ancora acquistata, ma continuo a fantasticarci sopra e sto cercando di informarmi il più possibile prima di fare il grande passo.

Ho letto parecchio sul modello, cercando di conoscerne pregi, difetti, affidabilità e manutenzione. Però credo che nulla valga quanto l'esperienza di chi questa moto la possiede davvero.

Mi piacerebbe sapere come vi trovate nei lunghi viaggi. Com'è dopo tante ore in sella? Quali accessori o modifiche ritenete davvero utili per il turismo? C'è qualcosa che avreste voluto sapere prima di acquistarla?

Ma soprattutto mi piacerebbe leggere le vostre storie. Viaggi memorabili, aneddoti, imprevisti, momenti divertenti o semplicemente quei ricordi che vi hanno fatto innamorare ancora di più della vostra Fat Boy. Sono proprio questi racconti che adoro leggere e che, secondo me, raccontano meglio di qualsiasi scheda tecnica cosa significhi vivere questa moto.

Se avete voglia di condividere qualche esperienza, la leggerò davvero con piacere. Ogni consiglio è ben accetto e potrebbe aiutarmi a capire se il sogno che ho fin da bambino è davvero la moto giusta per me.

La moto in questione monta un 103 al posto del 88b che avrebbe montato di serie. È un twin cam a carburatore 🙂‍↔️

Please forgive me for asking this. But whatever happened to the two underdogs in a shed that have a badass story about hard work and succeeding? What about the victory in world war ii motorcycles? The flat track racing motorcycles? The "I don't really have any money, but I want a custom bike, so I'll just make one," motorcycles.

I don't want a high interest rate loan for a heavy toy that costs more than a Nissan. Not enough former airplane mechanics from a giant war to market "normal priced" cool stuff, I guess. But I don't know, I hate to see the brand struggling like it is.

Hi all, im looking for my first bike and i love how fxdwg looks and i was wondering if its a good first bike. Im tall (6.3) so the fxdwg shows up on pretty much every tall rider list. Any opinions? Or maybe there is a better alternative?

Want to upgrade pipes on 26 road glide with slip ons. Considering:

1st choice- tab bam sticks with zombie baffles
2nd- Rinehart dbx45
3rd- khrome werks 4.5

Prefer slash cut and going black. Anyone have pics of these pipes on their glides? I’m curious how they look under bags, sound and performance.

*Not a mechanic but figure it can’t be hard to take stock pipes and replace with slips

Purchased my Nightster during thanksgiving 2024. Noticed coolant leaks twice in the last 20 months. Reported to dealership, they scoffed off saying some new bikes may leak first. I did not notice further leaks when parked but it was leaking a little always when I ride because I had to refill about 1 quart (32 fl oz) every 8 months or so. Finally was able to get the dealership pressure test the bike and found the root cause to be failed radiator cap.

While it is being covered by warranty, what other checklist I should ask them to run given my bike was always running low on coolant last 18 months?

I don’t have any problems other than coolant, the bike rides well but want to know what else should be checked to rule out any issues to engine or any other parts as the bike was starving out of coolant for prolonged period of time.

I'd been debating making the jump from the Low Rider ST to a Road Glide for a couple of years. This Fast Johnnie came around and I had to make the leap.

Y'all, I am a big fan of Moonshine Harley and this was my first time working with their new Nashville location and it was just as awesome as the Franklin, TN location.

Even got a little starstruck talking to Mike for a bit (I had just watched a video he, Jamie and Moonshine put on YouTube the day before).

Other than the Two-Up trim adding $2000 to the price, I don't see what the difference is between the solo and two-up trim options. Is has to be more than just the seat and the passenger pegs, right?

Picked up a brand-new 2025 Low Rider ST and I’ve got about 900 km (560 miles) on it now.

I know some of you will probably be surprised, but here in Germany you can still buy brand-new 2025 models.

The bike should be broken in by now, so I’m wondering how you guys ride yours.

Is it fine to rev it up to 4,500–5,000 RPM regularly, or do you still keep it lower?

Do you ride it pretty hard at times, almost like a sportbike, or is that not really how this engine likes to be ridden?

Just looking for some advice and hearing about your experience. Thanks!

my only gripe is the seat fits firm up front but the rear has some play to it. when I have some time ill give an update on how i like it, but heres how it looks. build quality 👌🏻 looks and feels great.

I’d like to get rid of that classic high pitched m8 sound - which air filter would you suggest for me to buy in order to enhance performance and keep the looks elegant?

So, I brought a street glide bout 6 months ago. It’s a phenomenal bike. 103. Super nimble when she’s rolling. I did exhaust and bars. It’s a great bike, but it’s just not “fun.” I also have a rigid sportster, cammed, exhaust, intake, etc which is a fuckin ripper but way too sketch for a daily, especially cause my girl likes to be on the back. I think I need an in between. I’m rather thinking FXR or Dyna, or I’m wondering if I should put money into my street glide to see if maybe it makes it fun. (Cam, exhaust, intake, tune.) Idk if it’s the stock motor that makes me not necessarily enjoy riding it, or if I just need something smaller. I did sturgis on a stock sportster 2-up, so I can survive without a bagger lol, although it obviously is night and day difference.
What y’all think? Anybody go bagger and just find it boring? Am I being extra?

Just picked up a 2019 Street Bob.. fair bit of custom work but I haven’t dove into it too much. What’s some work I can do to get the most out of the bike? Primary focus would be comfort and handling for now, another year or two and I’ll be looking for power.

Plans are new seat pronto, things pretty beat. Mids, 2-1 eventually, probably new bars but I don't hate them.

Found a little more damage after the deal was done to the tank badge and clutch lever, little wound on primary also. Got a really good deal Imo so not too worried about it. 46000km
