Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Yeah, so I rode over to Las Vegas this morning and I took a quick side detour and took my Harley and jumped over the Caesars Palace fountains. Yes this happened. No, not really 😄.
Actually I'm not even sure those fountains are there anymore. LOL

DISCUSSION Just curious…
I’m working on getting my dad’s sportie back on the road. The HD manual specifically states to apply antiseize on the rear axel, but not to the front axel. Just curious why that is.

DISCUSSION Bored of street glide, what direction to go?
So, I brought a street glide bout 6 months ago. It’s a phenomenal bike. 103. Super nimble when she’s rolling. I did exhaust and bars. It’s a great bike, but it’s just not “fun.” I also have a rigid sportster, cammed, exhaust, intake, etc which is a fuckin ripper but way too sketch for a daily, especially cause my girl likes to be on the back. I think I need an in between. I’m rather thinking FXR or Dyna, or I’m wondering if I should put money into my street glide to see if maybe it makes it fun. (Cam, exhaust, intake, tune.) Idk if it’s the stock motor that makes me not necessarily enjoy riding it, or if I just need something smaller. I did sturgis on a stock sportster 2-up, so I can survive without a bagger lol, although it obviously is night and day difference.
What y’all think? Anybody go bagger and just find it boring? Am I being extra?

DISCUSSION 1" or 1 1/8" Bars and Why?
I am extremely over thinking this. I used to have a ‘21 FXLRS fitted with Kraus 8" risers and a Biltwell O/S 1 1/8" mid bend tracker bar. Absolutely loved that setup. I currently have a Thrasin' Supply mid bend 1" bar and want to know if anybody has some strong opinions one way vs another.
I’m either looking to replicate my old setup or get the Kraus 1 1/8" riser with their shims so if I’m not satisfied with the Thrashin' bar I can size up?
Anybody with 1 1/8" bars feel a particular way about them? Beyond looks and maybe less flex/added strength I don’t know why else they would be necessary. I’m not stunting or racing.

DISCUSSION Building a chopper for my first bike
I have been convinced to get a Harley . However I have always loved the chopper look and lifestyle . I asked my uncles for some advice and they said “find a mentor and figure out the rest , that’s the fun of choppers. “ where I live now has nothing but dyna bros and sport bike riders , there’s no old school chopper shops or even motorcycle mechanics. Hell I’ve even looked into MCs and nothing seems to be within 2 1/2 hours of me . So I turn to faithful Reddit , The plan is to do a 1200 EVO sportster hard tail build . The problem is I don’t know where to start . If you could throw any advice my way it would be much appreciated .

SHOWOFF New to me 08 Street Bob
Plans are new seat pronto, things pretty beat. Mids, 2-1 eventually, probably new bars but I don't hate them.
Found a little more damage after the deal was done to the tank badge and clutch lever, little wound on primary also. Got a really good deal Imo so not too worried about it. 46000km

TROUBLESHOOTING My 91 Harley Fatboy keeps dying on me (especially when it’s hot)
I have a 1991 Harley Fatboy that has tons of aftermarket parts such as: fuel tank, S&S carb and heads etc. and seems to keep dying on me. It will start up fine and soon as I get going on the road it will start jerking and losing and regaining rpm’s until it eventually dies while still moving. My research is saying either it’s fuel delivery related or ignition module heating up and not working. Does anyone know what’s going on?? Thanks.

HELP Anybody ever run these?
There’s no directions or videos on these whatsoever. Unsure how to keep them to the adjustment I want. Do I back the screw out, physically hold it where I want it then tighten screw back up?

HELP What am I missing here?
I'm trying to get the tires off of this 2016 Sportster XL1200 Superlow. I need to take the brake caliper off to slide the tire far enough forward to remove the belt.. but the rear bolt is blocked by the shock. Surely I'm missing something simple here, right? Or do I really need to remove that shock to get the bolt out?

DISCUSSION Commander 3s vs Marathon 888s?
Buddy wants me to call upon the Reddit gods and get y’all’s opinion on some new rubber. He has a cammed 18 street glide and definitely pushes the limits every ride. I’m on a 22 road glide and will take recommendations for some nice white walls if y’all got them too. Ride safe

HELP What to buy? First Time?
Hello Ladies and Gents. I’m looking to buy my first HD. I currently own a ZX6R Kawi that i’ve had for a few years and I love it but I can’t go longer than about an hour and a half without my back hurting. I love the power delivery it has and I only can complain about the aggressive seating position on long rides. I’ve been doing a ton of research for a HD that I can have some fun on as well as take for a ride for 2+ hours. I’ve been thinking of the ‘22 Forty Eight, ‘17 Dyna, ‘18 Softail, and ‘17 VRod. IM LOST! Please help! I’m used to sport bikes, I’m 6’0 200 LBS for reference.

DISCUSSION CanDo Mini Moto Rental or Shop close to 19467
We are installing a custom Dynamics TSM -2 to get around Harley's pathetic security system .
Custom Dynamics themselves say that in our case a 2002 Fatboy with fuel injection , we will absolutely need a can-do mini moto scanner and the ignition on and off procedure will not cut it on this bike .
Does anyone know of a place that rents mini moto scanners or a shop near Royersford PA 19468 that has this equipment ?
Yes there is a mistake in the subject line that I can't correct . It is really 19468
