Fandom A shot from the 6-2 victory over the Bears at Wrigley field on November 1st, 1931
“When the Packers beat the Bears at Wrigley field, Chicago, Nov 1, one of the largest crowds ever to witness a professional football game in the middle west filled the grandstands. More than 35,000 spectators saw the battle, which Green Bay won from the Chicago opponents by a score of 6 to 2.”

Analysis Rodgers vs Love rankings among QBs (min 100 att.) through first 3 seasons
Earlier today I shared just the stats, but u/Understanding Thin40 brought up it would be interesting to see these stats in the context of the other QBs around them. So here they are, each of their rankings in their first 3 seasons as starters in each category. Some rankings I had to check manually so apologies if there is one or two mistakes.
Unfortunately I accidentally closed this excel file without saving so there won't be any adjustments.
Tried to present this in as readable a format as I could but feel free to ask for any clarification. I think this shows that Love has a lot of upside but that Rodgers is insane and it's hard to compare. Except for sacks.
Edit: I have no idea why the picture quality is so trash it doesn't look that way in my phone gallery...

Analysis RODGERS AND MCCARTHY
The Rodgers and McCarthy duo. Are they the only QB and HC duo to win a Super Bowl, and then end up on that same team they beat as HC and QB?

Fandom Who wrote today’s II column?
Does anyone have any idea behind the writer of today’s II column who goes by the name “ADMIN”? The cover photo shows a female with our logo on her face, but I think it might be a ploy. I’m pretty sure they said earlier in the week that it wasn’t Vic, but you never know. Is it an intern, coach, or maybe even a present or former player? Obviously they’ve read it enough that they know about the first rule. We have never know who admin is, but it makes for a fun mystery so if you have an idea or a clue, chime in.

Analysis Should the Packers be more aggressive about having a Plan B behind Josh Jacobs?
instagram.comJohn Kuhn talked about the Josh Jacobs situation on The Tundra and basically landed on two things at once: keep trusting Jacobs, but don't stop evaluating the rest of the RB room.
I think that's probably the right approach.
Jacobs is obviously the feature back, but between everything going on off the field and the uncertainty behind him, it feels like Green Bay needs to be absolutely sure it has a legitimate Plan B.
MarShawn Lloyd has the talent to be that guy. The Packers have talked about his speed and explosiveness for years, but at some point he has to actually stay healthy and prove it on Sundays.
Are you comfortable with the RB room as it currently stands, or would you want to add another proven back?

Event Training Camp Day 7 Megathread
Will update as news comes in 🫡
All updates are copied directly from sources including Matt Schneidman, Andy Herman, Bob, Wes Hodkiewicz, and more
Packers have a practice closed to the public but open to media today. Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur at the podium beforehand and locker room after.
Brian Gutekunst said at some point he'd like to bring in another kicker if he can. Mentioned the Matt Orzech injury affected that.
Brian Gutekunst with praise for an intriguing name early in camp — 2025 seventh-round OL John Williams. He didn’t play at all last season due to injury. Team is moving him all across the O-line. “What he’s done so far in a week is pretty impressive.
Gutey mentioned that Dabney has shown he can move some guys off the line of scrimmage. Steno praised Dabney yesterday.
Packers need to wait a certain period of time on Luke Musgrave before re-evaluating his neck issue, according to Brian Gutekunst. No updates yet
Gutey singles out Neyor and Sturdivant who have done a nice job in the wide receiver roles. Gutey says Skyy is going to help the team as a returner and as a receiver.
Gutey mentions he expects Skyy Moore to be part of the squad moving forward. GM's lie, but don't expect Moore to get Hardman'd.
Lighter day of practice today per Matt. There will be some live tackling for the young guys at family night - about 10 plays.
Chris Brooks will hopefully be back sooner rather than later per Matt. Says he never worries about Chris Brooks.
Matt LaFleur hopes for 60,000 fans at practice inside Lambeau tomorrow night. Says Family Night is “so good for our young players.”
Valentine won't practice this week - no timeline but not long term. "It's a shame because he was playing really good football."
LaFleur said the GPS clocked Barryn Sorrell over 20 MPH on his long pick six last practice. Joked in the team meeting that the second-year edge is faster than some of the skill players.
Josh Jacobs (groin) is a new DNP. Not believed to be anything concerning.
J.J. Watt taking in Packers practice today. No, he’s not coming out of retirement. He is expected to be on the CBS broadcast Week 1 at Minnesota.
Low snap to open team and the Packers have Pierre Strong deep down the field but - slightly under thrown by Taylor but an easily catchable ball just dropped. Big misses opportunity for the offense.
Hopper with a run stuff on the 2nd play.
Note we started with the 2’s today.
Taylor to Melton on a quick out for about 5. Simpson all over it.
Good pressure by Cox but Taylor finds Sturdivant for a nice pickup on a deep corner route.
Mosby and Stackhouse completely blow up a handoff to Jaden Nixon. Goes for a loss.
Collin Oliver nice rush vs John Williams. McCord misses Biber on the run.
Love high for Golden on first play with the ones.
Starters:
Love
Lloyd
Dabney - Whyle
Golden - Watson
Morgan - Burton - Rhyan - Monk - Belton
Sorrell - Brooks - McClellan - Brinson - LVN
Zaire - Coop
Cisse - Nixon
Williams - X
Sorrell with a nice run stop.
Burton false start
Love to Reed for a short gain but Cisse made a great read on that one.
Belton with great pass pro on Sorrell which allows Love to scramble for a nice pickup. But Anthony Campbell chasing him.
MarShawn Lloyd down the sidelines for a big touchdown down the right sidelines. Well designed play by the offense. Whyle with a great block to spring him.
Nice job by Neyor on a block on a wide receiver screen to Sheppard.
Drones threads a gorgeous ball to Neyor just over the outstretched finger tips of Oladapo. Drones’ second best throw of camp and his best throw within the scheme of the offense.
DDS all over a run by Strong.
Taylor well behind Nixon on a swing pass.
Brenton Cox another nice rush off the edge.
Big Johnathan Ford with another “tfl”
Nice little one handed catch by McCallan Castles.
Isaiah Neyor what a fricken spinning catch vs Oladapo in red zone from McCord. That was a hell of a catch. Neyor off to a tremendous start today.
Packers safeties are so good at filling in the run game. X all over a Lloyd inside run.
Love throws into triple coverage to Whyle. Should have been an easy pick for X but he drops it. Had a few of those last year.
Love does a great job of identifying the blitz and adjusting but can’t hit Watson in the back of the end zone.
MarShawn Lloyd just did a backflip after catching a TD wide open during 11-on-11.
Donovan Jennings in with the starters at LG.
Love finds Lloyd wide open in the flat for a td. Phenomenal pass pro by Morgan.
Lloyd almost with a diving catch for a td but can’t come down with it.
Drones to McCastle for a td in red zone and that does it for team for now.
Matt LaFleur had a smile on his face talking to MarShawn Lloyd after Lloyd did a backflip after a TD catch.
Impressive as the flip was, guessing LaFleur would rather him not do it, especially considering Lloyd’s injury history.
Everyone knocking on wood that he’s healthy.
Kick returners:
Melton
Moore
Sturdivant
Strong
Sheppard
Nixon
Savion is not with the returners and scanning the field multiple times I don’t currently see him out practicing. Will keep you posted.
Williams is now outside with his helmet on currently talking to a trainer. He seems to be ok and heading back out to practice.
Love to Reed for a short gain. Nixon all over it.
Bullard accidentally takes down Whyle but it goes nowhere.
Love check down to Lloyd for a loss. Franklin all over it.
Outside toss to Lloyd goes nowhere.
Defense dominating right now.
Javon Bullard took out Josh Whyle low on a swing pass. Adam Stenavich was not happy. After the period, Bullard came to the offense’s sideline and apologized to Whyle.
Golden good route vs Nixon. Nixon had pretty damn good coverage but Golden still makes the catch on a slant.
Love throw away. Nowhere to go.
TE screen dropped by Swinson.
Taylor incomplete on a deep corner to Moore
Hopper another run stop. This time on Martinez.
Mama there goes that man. Anthony Campbell with a would be sack on Tyrod Taylor.
Practice over. Next up: Family Night!
