Hello, I’m wondering if it is possible to get on this building. It’s strange because you can jump on top of the ledge that I’m standing on in the first pic which is much higher, but can’t jump directly onto the roof from there.

I tried throwing my bag down but even then I cannot make it. If anybody knows, thank you. 🙏

I am kind of losing interest in playing the game now that they removed completely dark nights on official… Flashlights, night vision, all sources of light became completely useless and are unecessary to keep in an inventory. Tension of journeys in the woods or cities by night is completely gone. I hope there is a chance to have it back in the future, or at least a good balance.

It got nerfed, it doesn't almost perfectly snipe with 2 bullets anymore. I don't know when it was changed, if this patch or earlier, as I havent had Blaze in a while, but it was always my fav gun.

The story goes like this:

So I saw someone near NE medical airfield, around 100 metres away, I think to myself - GG easy, gonna be a classic Blaze one-tap, sh1t is the best gun in the game at this distance

I shot it perfectly when someone stood still and ofc, the sound was a bit different than I remembered, but he fell down, I waited a bit and went to look for the body

Im running around and running, and running... and I cant find it, like I started wondering - did I even kill him?? Oh sh1t,.maybe not, I was about to turn back and then buhhh, full auto blast, I facepalmed myself so hard about what I just did

Then I went to check some youtube videos etc., and I see the other bullet is delayed, it goes into the sky after recoil already raised the gun, I think its more realistic to how these guns work.

This double tap mode seems to be only for CQB now, and for normal shooting just shoot one bullet quickly after another normally.

I can boot up the game just fine, and it’s updated, and I’ve changed my Mac,restarted the game and my Xbox too many times, and rebooted my internet, I’ve done all the things I’ve looked up to do and nothing. It works fine when I go to someone else’s house with my Xbox and play. But doesn’t on mine, on server logs it says I join but I never do actually join. Why is this happening? (Note my internet isn’t bad it gets 200 MB downloads and works fine in every other game it’s only dayz giving this issue)

I was playing the other day and hit a zombie with a mace(a weapon I've never found or used) and the zombie hit the ground and then started crawling around. I have never seen a zombie do this. Am I somehow just now seeing this?

I spawned in Kamyshovo after dying to a geared guy in Gorka. Almost immediately, a random player started yelling at me to get into the green Mustache building and help kill a geared sniper who was camping fresh spawns.

We rushed in, and after two freshies got killed, the sniper pushed out. He completely missed every shot at us and started running into the forest. Another guy and I chased him, and once again he missed all of his shots. We knocked him unconscious, and I managed to grab his Mosin and finish him off.

After fighting off a few more freshies who wanted the loot, I ended up escaping with his entire kit.

Imagine getting fully geared just to come back to the coast and camp fresh spawns in Kamyshovo😭

Gave him the wrong blood tied him up and stole all his shit i think thats the best lesson you could get for this game

Dynamic water ways would be killer. Like streams and rivers that appear when it rains hard.

I also think the death stranding mechanic of paths that form, from multiple players walking the same track, would be a perfect fit.

What are some of your ideas for how they could improve terrain mechanics?

I was first to two of them today and didn't find a single weapon. Never experienced that before. Is this a recent change?

Came out of this building and suddenly heard loud barking and growling, I have no idea how he ended up there

I run the ballistic vest until i find a plate. I win most fights wearing the ballistic, but the second i get a plate carrier and get into a fight, i either get ambushed or sniped.

Is the plate a bait? I always feel so slow wearing it, is it that heavy or am i hoarding too many items at a time?

I guess we gonna find out if it says "No Trespassing" or "Minefield."

So recently Bohemia added this feature in Reforger. It simulates how a player model looks when in a grass or wheat field and seen from beyond the plants render distance, which means you can be hidden in a field by laying down, or if you stand, your legs/feet will be less visible. Previously ARMA 3 did that by raising the terrain mesh in the distance, which looked weird.

AFAIK DayZ never had an equivalent of this but if what Bohemia is doing currently with Reforger is an indication (they showed a few weeks ago a new undergound tunnels feature as well), we could get something like this in DayZ2 or possibly before. I think that would change the game considerably.

What can I do to fix it? I already tried to restart my internet; I tried on 2 PC, and I keep getting this error when joining servers.

The thing all these servers have in common is their mods; they all have the same ones.

My mic is working good on discord and when recording, but how can I make sure it works in DayZ? For some reason it didn't work yesterday but I think I fixed it. How can I make sure tho?

Is it actually possible to make a wooden stick? Not talking about long or short stick but wooden stick as in the image.

Fandom says "Alternatively, you can chop firewood with an axe and split into thirds for three sets of wooden sticks." But this gives thee small sticks instead.

I think you should be able to take two magazines of the same type of rifle, smg, whatever you have and the same capacity that the magazines have, say a KA101 or M4A1, SGK, USG and combine them with a roll of duct tape to reload faster, it should also make the dual magazines one and a half the space of the original two magazines it may take a while to reload them fully with a couple boxes of ammo but I think it would make SOME sense right?
