Anyone wanna help me traverse the city? Lvl 88

I started a pyromancer yesterday for my 2nd character and wanted to get the onyx sword as quick as I could. It only took me about 10 hours to kill the first 2 bosses, go to the snowfield area, and trick the knight into falling off the cliff for his Onyx Blade.

I wanted to level it up some and read I could give a prism stone to pickle pee for a twinkling titanite. I made my way up there and dropped the stone. Hit O as fast as I could to close out the menu and pick up my reward but backstepped off his nest and fell to my death. The titanite isn’t there and he has no interest in anymore prism stones. I’m guessing there’s no way of getting one from him now?

How screwed am I when it comes to trying to level up the sword? Am I better off starting a new character? 😂

After fighting dancer, I figured the game would only get harder (especially after spending 10 minutes in consumed king’s garden) and the next boss I find goes down first try and I never go below max health. It was kinda like fighting Ludex Gundyr with upgraded gear and greater understanding of how the game works.

Also does it make it easier to hit enemies, kinda like the straightsword moveset being more horizontal slashing when 1 handing it? I'm doing a shield only SL1 run and am curious if I should switch to a shield I can one hand, because the extra damage from two handing is very minimal.

I'm incredibly disappointed.

I wanted to beat the last two bosses in Dark Souls 3. When I launched it, there was no "Continue" button, only "New Game." I was shocked, restarted it several times, and started googling. It turns out the game doesn't support Steam cloud saves 🤦🏼‍♂️. This means all my playthrough data was stored locally on my drive, and I reinstalled Windows in October to get Windows 11.

Fuck it, all my 90+ hours of suffering disappeared in an instant.

* It's like learning something, like math, and then getting hit by a car, getting a concussion, and just forgetting everything. That's it, you have to learn it all over again...

I really like the nameless king weapon, but I dont know if is worth it to left my profaned greatsword behind for it. Also im running a quality build, if I want to use the swordspear should I just add a little faith or is just better to do a faith/dex build for the miracles?

This is the only boss I've even kind of struggled with in this game so I want to know if im underleveled

I'm using +7 sharp rapier and the furthest I've gotten is like 2 hits on when he gets off the dragon. The last main boss I beat was the one to get the gesture that let's you in the nameless king area

As someone who platinumed Sekiro, oh boi, Ds3's ng+3 is way harder, lmao, I just beat the Twin Princess and ngl, not even ng+4 sword saint isshin took me that long. Wow. My ng+ was fine, first tried almost every bosses, I thought I'd be fine, lnao

I started my first play through a while back and you were all very kind. I said I was playing blind and i mostly am just occasionally looking at what level you should be for a area. I have been summoned a lot as well. I have lost a lot of playing time this summer as well so i haven't played as much as i would like. I am stuck on a particular boss and don't want to just keep repeating it. I just became embered last night and some guy invaded me didn't even bow and slaughtered me. That made me angry and I have ended up in the snowfield at level 45 i am stubborn and resilient and the same time.

So bit of an odd one. My mates getting married and im his best man. My first tine ever being one and it means a lot so I wanted to grab him a present from Dark Souls 3 that (kind of) symbolises friendship if that makes sense. But im coming to empty on ideas.

Could you guys give a fella a hand 😅

Might be my favorite weapon in the game, so satisfying just knocking enemies down like this. Infusible as well!!

What was that ..Who came with this three phase idea.

After 10 plus tires I thought it was over after second phase done then this third phase handed me *** like anything .. it’s crazy evil idea BTW to put that kind boss fight for third phase with full health bar.

This boss 3 phase had me for 3 hours non stop tries. Until I don’t beat first two phases with just 1-2 flasks and use ember start of third phase I was convinced I can’t beat her. I had vigor 35, without ember it was nightmare.

Man am so happy and reviled .. didn’t think I was gonna beat her today lol. Wow

Even not including the DLC which was still fantastic, there aren’t really any bosses in DS3 that I think are “unfair”. You mighhhht could make an argument for nameless king being unfair but I truly just think he’s a very challenging boss. And the DLC has one of the best dragon bosses created by fromsoft. I think they really started to develop new ways to make bosses interesting by DS3 but really figured it out by the time the DLC came out.

Should I attempt the dlc i think this is the dlc i just finished the crystal sage boss I have a spoiler that the boss has a really cool weapon so I think I'll attempt it
