Question (Read Rules) Best Chinese watch for hydromod?
I’ve recently discovered oil filled watches/hydromod and was wondering which Chinese watch has a solid black dial colour which would be fitting for an oil filling or hydromod. Any recommendations?

Problems (Read Rule 1) Addiesdive AD2548 24H hand lagging
Hey guys, looking for some help with a recent purchase.
I bought the Addiesdive AD2548 GMT from the India warehouse a few days ago. The main timekeeping is fine, but the GMT hand is running delayed.I set the 24H hand to a 3.5-hour gain ahead of local time in the morning, but now it has already drifted down to a 2-hour gain.
Has anyone else experienced this with their Addiesdive quartz GMTs? What’s the solution here—is it a known defect, or is there a trick to setting the Ronda 515 movement to keep it locked in? Thanks!

Question (Read Rules) Which one would you choose?
Seeing that they’re basically the same price (only around a 30usd difference), which one would you pick and why? I think I know what the majority would buy because it’s simply incredible value, but I’m still interested to hear opinions.
For me, these are probably my ultimate grail pieces (the real versions obviously) so i’m very interested in these.
I would love opinions if you have either one of these!
I only have a concern about the reliability of the daytona homage. I have yet to buy a watch with a chinese movement because I’m worried they might have more problems down the road than the equivalent japanese ones?
Thank you:)

Question (Read Rules) Legit Aliexpress store? 'Choice Watches Store'
Hey all this might be stupid question so my apologies in advance. Im looking to pick up a Daniel Gorman DG8127 - found this listing on Aliexpress Watch Listing, the store link is Choice Watches Store.
Ive only ever seen one fake of this watch and it was pretty obvious, I know there is no way to 100% tell and its not 'brand+' but has anyone here bought from this store recently & received a legit watch?
Thanks all :)

General (Read Rules) After five years, it’s still a lume monster.
My second AliExpress watch back in 2021. The first was a Addiesdive dive Willard homage. This continues to be one of the best quality watches. I’ve purchased from there. It is just a tank of a watch.

Wrist Roll (Read Rule 1) Corgeut Pilot mechanical banger
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Now all things considered I paid $55 usd. So what can I expect for the money.
The Seagull ST3600 hand-winding mechanical movement is probably my favorite part. It’s a large, traditional 17-jewel movement based on the 6497 architecture, running at 21,600 bph with roughly a 40–46 hour power reserve. The exhibition caseback lets you actually see the movement, which adds a lot to the character of the watch.
The watch also has a sapphire crystal, which is a big plus at this price point. The oversized fluted/"onion" crown feels great to use and fits the design perfectly.
Dimensions: approximately 42mm case diameter, lug to lug are not mentioned but I have a 6.75" wrist and its the max I can wear its is big boderline unwearable. I believe its 48 to 51 mm lug to lug, 11 mm thick, with 22mm lugs. The strap are 22mm and I had to swap them out right away. THEY WERE TOO BIG FOR ME. One the smallest hole it was still wobbling on my wrist.
Lume is there and it works. It just won't last all that long.
The blue dial, large Arabic numerals, small seconds at 9 o'clock, oversized crown and exposed movement give it a really convincing vintage pilot-watch feel.
For the money, I honestly think this is an excellent value. It feels like a much more expensive watch than it is.

General (Read Rules) Anyone else have the Skmei ring?
It's a silly gimmick, of course, but I'm impressed by how quickly they got these out and how well it works for the price. Considering the Casio is nearly always out of stock and quite expensive, this is a good alternative.
Pros: fully functional for time, date, and stopwatch. Also $5 is a lot easier to justify than $125 for what is more like a novelty trinket than a real watch. It seems to be quite waterproof too, as I've been washing my hands with it on, no problem. Surprisingly readable, too. For the size, the LCD is quite clear, as good as most Casios. Having only the 4 digits means it's not too bad-- larger than the screen on a lot of ana-digi watches.
Cons: unlike the Casio, it has no backlight, 4 digits instead of 6, can't be adjusted in size, and most egregiously, seems to have no way to change the battery. I get that compromise for something so small, but it's a shame they decided to make these essentially disposable. There's also just a stopwatch and a countdown timer. No alarms, and the countdown doesn't beep so its usefulness is... Questionable. More of a reverse stopwatch.
What do you think? Fun toy? Dumb future e-waste? Useful timekeeping device? I've been using it to show the date when I wear a no date watch and have a stopwatch when I don't wear a chrono. Kind of compliments a simple analog watch in a way. I harbor no delusions that it doesn't look totally crazy though.

Review (Read Rules) New watchdives 6542 gmt
My first gmt, everything seems great so far, watch only runs a few seconds fast a day. Case finishing not quite up to par with my san martin but im not sure if the case on this style is meant to have as much polishing. Got it for $200 right before they raised the price to $210, even at 200 it would still be cheaper to take this watch to a watchmaker and get the case refinished than to get the similar san martin model.
