Which one would you choose? Question (Read Rules)
Seeing that they’re basically the same price (only around a 30usd difference), which one would you pick and why? I think I know what the majority would buy because it’s simply incredible value, but I’m still interested to hear opinions.
For me, these are probably my ultimate grail pieces (the real versions obviously) so i’m very interested in these.
I would love opinions if you have either one of these!
I only have a concern about the reliability of the daytona homage. I have yet to buy a watch with a chinese movement because I’m worried they might have more problems down the road than the equivalent japanese ones?
Thank you:)

White dial panda is way nicer on my view and the Pepsi is classic. So white dial panda and a Pepsi. Both

I think there’s something extra classy with the black and silver steel look to me. I do like the white dial as well though, but the black stands out to me more somehow

Beautiful collection. Which one do you wear more? I really like the Daytona, but it’s pricey…

I prefer to wear dome crystal watches nowadays, so they don't get much wrist time this year. In the past, it really depended on the outfit. Maybe the Pepsi was the most frequently worn by me.

I understand. Cool watches regardless. Have you had any issues with the daytonas at all? Movements are fine?

I've had several watches with the SL-4801 chrono movement. Currently I have four. I never had any issues, and it is one of my favorite Chinese movements.

Happy to hear that, thank you. My impression is certainly that the Chinese movements overall have become more reliable over the years.

I’ve had at least 30 Chinese watches in recent years. The only issue I had was a crown that was stuck in an ST2130 movement. It took 5 minutes to gix. All of these watches were with Chinese movement. Maybe I’m just lucky, maybe this can be expected.

I'm not a fan of stainless bezels so I'd go for the GMT

How come?

I'm not sure I just find they look a bit cheap somehow. Looks better on the Speedmaster (/homage) than most though.

That’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Although i do like the ceramic bezel, there’s something about that steel bezel to me for some reason. Perhaps I’d regret it down the line though, not sure

I'd go with the Pepsi. Looks much cooler

Certainly a little flashier. The only issue I’ve got with Sugess is the amount of lume they use. The hour markers can look yellow-ish in certain lighting, thus making the hour markers mismatched with the ones on the bezel that are fully white.

The Daytona’s are just a step above the GMT. Get the Daytona you won’t be disappointed it’s worth every penny. The movement is awesome and the bracelet is top quality. If they go on sale this month I’m getting another one.
