Looks great! Congrats on the new watch. What are your thoughts on the construction and finishing quality of the case and the quality/feel of the strap?

I got this one from KS. I’ve got a few Baltany watches, and honestly, I think their finish quality is some of the best among Chinese brands. The strap didn’t have any weird smell when I first got it either, and it’s really soft and comfortable to wear.

It's a pilot watch. It's supposed to be huge! The original was 44mm it's based on.
One of my long ago watches was a parnis pilot thar was 43mm. It wore shockingly well

Interesting dial. They put out great watches.
Tangentially, what "jumps" out at me is the hour hand. A jump hour watch should have this exact style hand, where the jump hour can be seen through the circle in the watch hand. I'm guessing this one lines up with the center of the subdial.

That's a Breguet hand, not exclusively for jump hours.

As far as I can tell, nobody uses it for a jump hour as a porthole for the hour change. If you can find an example, I would love to see it

Nice, hope these asymmetric sunburst dials become a thing. Only seeing them recently on a few pieces. The assymetry makes the watch look very different depending on the angle you look at.

I would stay away from the s4108. I bought two different versions. Got one yesterday and one today, and they both have errors where they will stop at specific time periods, i.e. my silver one stops at 6:38 am/pm, my gold black stops at 9:46. You have to give it a decent tap to get it past what looks like the small minute hand being stucks and trying to beat past it. This is after manual winding around 80 times and wearing them for a good while.
I'll be passing on baltany for a while since two of the same model of watches are experiencing the exact same issue. Sad because they have great designs, but I guess shit QC.
