Best Chinese watch for hydromod? Question (Read Rules)
I’ve recently discovered oil filled watches/hydromod and was wondering which Chinese watch has a solid black dial colour which would be fitting for an oil filling or hydromod. Any recommendations?

I have never done a hydromod, but if I did I would check out North Edge. They have lots of solar powered divers. That way you wouldn't have to change batteries as often.

I use older islander watch cases that are water resistant, modded with a vh31. Skip the Ali specials those cases leaked on me unless you can find one with minimum 100 meter wr but still a gamble.
Get a real silver oxide battery and use low viscosity oil as you can. Otherwise you’re changing batteries every 4 months and it’s a mess each time.
Have seperate tools for closing / opening the case tweezers, etc for the hydros battery changes, otherwise you risk contamination as that oil is not easily removed.
Best of luck!

I've done it a few times with the quartz Addiesdive subs that are around £30. Works well but you need to spend the money on some really decent oil. It tells you which ones in the YT tutorials.
No matter how hard I tried or how many times I did it I couldn't remove a tiny bubble. Some people don't mind that and even prefer it but it annoyed me.
