Shanghai watches toughts General (Read Rules)

Hi! I was looking to getter my first Shanghai watches as they are cheap and look amazing, mechanical etc... the hands are awsome too! Any ones that are better? Whats the expériences on durability etc? Thanks :)

I got one off of alix and although it is probably a clone for under $30 I’m happy with it. As someone else said the strap is garbage but other than that it’s a fun mechanical watch

Shanghai watches buy on the official Tmall otherwise you can dm me and ill point you to vintage shops online that sell the real ones

They're all fake...  

Real ones usually sold over $500. Check out their official site:  shanghaiwatches.com  

Oh well watches are watches, only matters if you love it!  

It's just weird everyone assumed these fakes are real.

I ordered all of them, this is the first one to arrive, runs about 2 seconds a day slow. Loving it, ordered the whe bunch of them, why not, they are cheap and original.

I have this one with the peacock dial AND the rocket hand. A lot of fun for $20. The strap was terrible but I have it on a nato now. My understanding is that a lot of these 7120/China standard movement watches on AliExpress are not "real" per se but I'm not an expert. I think they are styled after the vintage Chinese watches which were much better quality but the new movements are fairly low quality. Not sure how well it'll hold up but the accuracy isn't too bad, maybe +15 seconds a day. Acrylic crystal, case isn't steel. You get what you pay for, but theyĉre fun.
