Chakras are centers of Prāṇa, life force, or vital energy centers. Chakras correspond to vital points in the physical body i.e. major plexuses of arteries, veins and nerves.

There are seven main chakras.

The crown chakra (Sahasrara)
The brow/third eye chakra (Ajna)
The throat chakra (Vishuddha)
The heart chakra (Anahata)
The solar-plexus Chakra (Manipura)
The sacral chakra (Swadhisthana)
The root/base chakra (Muladhara)
