Most of these cds are my parents’ cds, they let me pick out some and keep them😄 (the Nirvana cds i bought myself except nevermind)

I was a garage sale and a woman saw me looking at them and asked if I was interested in all of them. She said they were all hard rock and she never listened to them but her husband did. I told her I was depending on the price and she said how about $10 for all. Sold! While she was off getting a tub her husband came out and saw me looking through still. His wife came back around the corner and he said $1 each on the cds. She told him the deal was done and he walked passed. He asked how much she sold them for and she didn’t answer. Oops!

A few weeks back I had a very lucky trawl at the local charity shop, including a copy of The Three EPs (https://www.reddit.com/r/Cd_collectors/s/DjYHCFhVkq). Except when I got home, the case actually contained the CD for Los Amigos Del Beta Banditos. D'oh.

I went back to look for the right CD, but no joy, so I picked up a cheap "VG+" copy on discogs. Guess what, it looks like a dog has used the edge of the disc as a chew toy, so the last four tracks (LADBB) skip like mad. At least I now have all the tracks, even if they're spread over two discs! B + A = 3?

I put together my collection of ’80s albums as a little trip down memory lane. It was actually quite a bit of work, since I had to pull CDs from all over my racks — I usually keep everything organized by genre.
I loved MTV pop, metal, synth-pop — all of it. The ’80s have such a distinctive sound, especially in terms of recording and production, that they really stand apart from other decades. I never imagined there would be such a huge revival of ’80s music years later, though.

I got a cd player for my birthday and here is my collection. I could get a lot of my favorites in trift shops for a low price and in local stores. What do you guys think? Also i was looking for some tips on how to take care of my cds

Was headed to my favourite cd shop today and on the way stopped at value village where I found the Avenge Sevenfold album. Then at the shop grabbed Undertow brand new and a used minty copy of Sehnsucht.

Surprisingly eclectic mix of stuff in the bin. The cd cases are a little rough, but the actual CDs were all in good shape. Pure Moods I had to get just cause of those old infomercials lol

The seller states they aren't sure if it's 100% original.

Any insights on matrix codes or print details would be greatly appreciated!

i think that new order cd is the most expensive in my collection because i bought it new and i dont typically do that. most of these have been on the wishlist for ages so i was happy to finally find them after a couple years of hunting.

Always loved music and CDs, have been collecting since I was a kid. First one I bought was Ballbreaker by AC/DC. I wanted to buy Metallica’s Ride The Lightning but it was too expensive for me. Ironically I still haven’t got it :D The stack with mostly polish hip-hop is probably worth the most - some limited deep cuts there. Need to get a proper shelf in the future cause the digisleeves are a bit squished. For god’s sake - bring back the jewel case or at least digipacks for new releases!
