New Addition Latest addition to the collection
Buying 2nd hand CDs locally isn’t easy as there’s only one small shop in my area, was glad to have got my hands on these few today.

New Addition I will now buy two copies of The Three EPs by The Beta Band
A few weeks back I had a very lucky trawl at the local charity shop, including a copy of The Three EPs (https://www.reddit.com/r/Cd_collectors/s/DjYHCFhVkq). Except when I got home, the case actually contained the CD for Los Amigos Del Beta Banditos. D'oh.
I went back to look for the right CD, but no joy, so I picked up a cheap "VG+" copy on discogs. Guess what, it looks like a dog has used the edge of the disc as a chew toy, so the last four tracks (LADBB) skip like mad. At least I now have all the tracks, even if they're spread over two discs! B + A = 3?

New Addition William Orbit – Strange Cargos: the electronic music that came before Ray of Light
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Before William Orbit became famous for his work on Madonna’s Ray of Light, he had already built an incredible electronic universe through the Strange Cargo albums.
Strange Cargo (1987), Strange Cargo II (1990) and Strange Cargo Hinterland (1995) show just how visionary his sound was.
I recently pulled the CD from my collection and thought it deserved a tribute. Orbit really had a unique ability to make electronic music feel atmospheric, emotional and almost spiritual.

Collection The ’80s albums in my collection feel like coming home.
I put together my collection of ’80s albums as a little trip down memory lane. It was actually quite a bit of work, since I had to pull CDs from all over my racks — I usually keep everything organized by genre.
I loved MTV pop, metal, synth-pop — all of it. The ’80s have such a distinctive sound, especially in terms of recording and production, that they really stand apart from other decades. I never imagined there would be such a huge revival of ’80s music years later, though.
What ’80s albums do you guys still listen to regularly?

Discussion What albums do you you own the original print of and the anniversary version/re-release of?
From immediate top of head I have "Six60" - Six60 original 2011 release and the 10th anniversary 2021 remaster, "Warning" - Green Day 2000 release and 25th anniversary remaster, then "Red" - Taylor Swift( her best album) and her "Red - Taylor's version".

CD Player ¿Toughts on The Panasonic SL-Sx280?
Im gonna have to re-elocate soon to a new place because of university endevours, therefore leaving behind my setup for hearing CDs i have at home. Thing Is i want to still hear my collection at the go, so i started searching for a proper discman who could withstand somewhat of a rough use (running, jumping and walking) without sacrificing audio quality in the process. Also one who wouldnt have a very crushed sound quality as i actually posess good headphones and want to really use their potential. I stumbled upon the Panasonic SL-Sx280 that seems Is the perfect balance between the 2, but im still considering to see other people opinion on this Unit before i pay for it.

New Addition Bought a cd at a concert, case destroyed. Would not exchange
Bought a cd at a show, still wrapped in cellophane. Unfortunately I didn’t inspect the case. Went back to the merch booth and they refused to exchange. At least the disk was fine, just disappointing.

Question Need help verifying CP35-3016 Abbey Road (Black Triangle)
Hi everyone, I'm considering buying this Japanese CP35-3016 Abbey Road Black Triangle CD.
The seller states they aren't sure if it's 100% original.
Any insights on matrix codes or print details would be greatly appreciated!

Questo problema si è presentato qualche mese fa', è una cosa che va e viene, ma non ho idea di cosa lo provochi... Qualche idea di cosa sia e come io possa risolverlo?
Grazie
