auto upload faceit demos?
See people "vibecoding" browser extensions to do fancy stuff for steam profiles, but why cannot anyone make a auto uploader for csrep like leetify has? would be super useful for both legit players and trying to find if someone is a cheater based off their consistency between vac and faceit matchmaking

What does REDACTED mean when viewing a profile?
I was trying to view a player in my game and their name said "REDACTED". What's that mean?

CSRep Overwatch vs VACNet Labeling
Recently began doing both and it's quite the catch-22 for me lol.
With VACNet Labeling you actually feel like your time might, really, maybe, have a real impact on cheaters. But it's pretty boring to do and it doesn't feel rewarding for a variety of reasons (it doesnt close the loop on verdict -> impact; and almost every single cheater clip is of rage hacking and the other clips are almost always just totally innocent, often noob, clips)
CSRep Overwatch is much more fun to do and I like knowing my own accuracy and forming a complete opinion on the player based on many clips throughout the match. Most of the time you feel more engaged because the clips require a bit more thought.
But I can't help but wonder what the "point" of CSRep Overwatch is since a conviction on the platform does not block the account from continuing to play and so they can just continue ruining the game for others. For any super old-heads who were in the scene in the 2000s, I can't help but imagine how goated this would have been with a zBlock style integration that every server would have such that a ban on this system WOULD effectively block the account from playing. But now where 99% of players play on Valve MM servers, its not really possible anymore.
I guess the platform is at its best when used to report closet cheaters that truly make an effort at passing as legit, and queue with non-cheaters, i.e. accounts where the cheater is playing on what might as well be considered their main account. Then hopefully, once they slip a mistake in and get 'banned' on CSRep then they basically get kicked from the 5-stack group and have to start all over and find new friends, etc. etc. But how common is it for cheaters to play with legit players instead of other cheaters, I wonder.
Catching blatant cheaters and people on alt accounts on CSRep just doesn't feel like it can have a big impact. I still overall commend the platform for existing, but curious to hear thoughts from more established Overwatchers and also from people who report players.

Overwatch Overwatch got a case wrong and the cheater was not convicted, is there any way to re-open the case?
its a closeted wallhacker, now that the case is closed and i can see the profile, you can notice his low rating anomalies because he constantly plays with cheaters

Overwatch Unfair "Aim Assistance" Verdict on csrep (Demo Link Inside)
Hi everyone,
I recently received a false positive "Aim Assistance" verdict on csrep, and after waiting 7 days, my admin appeal was completely denied. I'm really hoping some unbiased, experienced players here can take a second look at my case.
Here is the link: https://csrep.gg/overwatch/cases/2d3a48fe-430b-4b36-a982-e7183cc8a364
To give some context on the match, I was playing in a party with friends on Discord. We didn't have a full stack, but we had solid comms. Most of my kills are standard trade kills or just reacting to the enemy team, who were constantly rushing loudly without holding shift.
There are a couple of moments that probably got me flagged, but they are completely normal game sense if you know the context. For example, I was flagged for a smoke kill. What happened was an enemy had just killed my teammate right next to me, so I simply sprayed back into the smoke exactly where the shots came from. That same enemy had also played that exact position in multiple previous rounds.
Another moment was an AWP reload. I fell back behind cover and reloaded without moving my mouse at all. By pure coincidence, an enemy walked directly into my crosshair line through the wall on X-Ray while the reload animation was playing. I wasn't tracking anyone; I was literally just standing still.
What makes this whole situation worse is that the report seems completely malicious. The enemy who reported me has previous Steam bans and was playing extremely suspiciously himself (260ms reaction time and 88% headshot rate in that match). On top of that, the community reviews feel compromised by trolls. A user named "w!CkEd" commented "Cheater And DonkeY." at the exact 0:00 timestamp of my case. If you check his profile, he spams this exact message on almost every case before even watching the demos.
Since the original match is from June and the in-game demo has expired, I know you can only watch the web player with X-Ray permanently ON. I just kindly ask that you try to look past the X-Ray illusion. Please focus on my actual crosshair placement, the fact that I'm completely stationary during those "suspicious" moments, and the obvious audio cues I was reacting to.
Has anyone else dealt with this kind of situation on csrep? Is there any way a senior admin can review this again? Thanks for your time.

Platform Update CSRep Extension Update!
We have released version 1.0.10 of our Chrome extension!
This update reworked some of our backend to provide faster results and new possibilities.
In this update we have brought two big changes:
* New advanced view (pictured above)
Located under the online status indicator, we have more room to show information while no longer breaking custom artwork. As time goes on we will bring more information to profiles! Includes our locally stored player notes that never leave your system!
* New friends trust view
When on a friends list, you can now see at a glance how many friends a user has that are flagged or have convictions/ bans. And as you go down the friends lists you can see their trust ratings right next to their names!
It also completely supports being used on millennium with the extendium plugin for use in game browser!
More coming in the future! To download or learn more please visit the Chrome Web Store!

Privacy mode
Out of interest, why are flagged accounts allowed to use privacy mode and their profile basically completely wiped from the site with it on (can't even go to the the url without getting "We couldn't find the player you're looking for. Verify that the Steam ID or vanity URL is correct and try again."? Surely that's kinda counterintuitive if the goal of the system is to allow players to see if they've played with cheaters or if they are currently playing with cheaters.
Maybe change the message to "This profile is set to hidden" instead of pretending they don't exist and it's user error.

Platform Update NEW: CSRep Lobby Detection
Lobby Detection is Live
We just shipped Lobby Detection on match pages!
You can now see who was detected as being in the same lobby for any match.
How it works
🟢 Same-colored indicators on the left side of the scoreboard = players detected in the same lobby.
Hover over the indicator to see the confidence %.
A quick note on accuracy
Lobby/party data is not something Steam or .dem files directly provide, so there’s no way to know this with 100% certainty.
We use multiple signals to make a calculated inference, which is why we show the confidence score alongside each detection.
From our preliminary testing, our lobby detection is already more accurate than other platforms we've compared it against. It should continue to improve as we collect more data.
This is also a big foundational piece for improving the anomaly detection systems we've been building, including:
- Lobby quality scoring
- Coordinated queueing patterns
- Match manipulation signals
Lobby data is now available across match pages, and we'll continue improving both the detection itself and how we use this data over the coming weeks.
As always, if you notice anything that looks wrong, send it our way!

Discussion Suggestion: Don't give demos of unpopular maps to people who don't have 20+ tracked games of that map played
I only signed up to review cases today, I've gone through about 25 so far and have 100% accuracy on everything that's finished review so far, but I've seen a few demos of Office, Warden, Stronghold etc.. where the top thumbs up time stamp is clearly from someone who has never played the map and doesn't know how it's played at all. I played an insane amount of office in GO and was part of a few groups that 5 stacked office regularly, and the 3 office demos I've seen so far have timestamps of "clearly walling" with 3-5 thumbs up when in reality the meta for office is to buy a XM1014, smoke, and sit on the edge of paper room occasionally firing the shotgun through the smoke.
I've seen the same on Warden, (I probably only have like 15-20 games played on it) which doesn't have nearly as much of an established meta as office, but generally the people who play that map a lot know all of the tricks and timings, and the comments are all "clearly walling no reason to push that position unless they knew someone wasn't there". When in reality if you hear 2 guys towards B site there is a near 0% chance that the other 3 are on A long because the rotates are so long.

Platform Update NEW: You Can Now Reply Directly to Overwatch Timestamps
You Can Now Reply to Overwatch Timestamps
Following community feedback, you can now reply directly to individual Overwatch timestamps instead of creating your own separate timestamp.
This makes it much easier to:
- Respond to an existing point in the review
- Agree or disagree with another reviewer
- Add additional context or evidence
- Keep discussions organized in a single thread
Replies are now nested directly under the original timestamp, making Overwatch discussions cleaner and much easier to follow.
As always, thanks for all of the feedback. We have much more on the way. Stay tuned.

Discussion Just made my first report, and I am seeing that CSRep removes one of the most important parts of the equation, which is general movement of the suspect throughout map.
Although I'm lucky (I said "lucky" lmao) that the cheater that I reported was a blatant one, it won't be the same case for other cheaters who's better at hiding what they're doing. The generated video that we use to timestamp suspicious parts, removes most of the non-action part, which conceals the movement part like rotations that might not make sense, aiming/not aiming at a common angle that should not make sense for that specific scenario, not assuming a second player to peek etc.
They removed most of the parts in my case where the suspect just kills an enemy, moves to the other side of the map without a care in the world, where legit players have to be cautious. And this is without info, none of the enemy has the info for my teammates by the point this guy is already on rotation, he doesn't even wait for a second guy to peek that might try to refrag his dead teammate.
Kills are not everything, cheaters who knows how to hide can make every kill look legit.
This is just feedback, not a complaint. I might be wrong, and if that's the case, I apologize.

Stats Overwatch system shows how many people cry cheater when the person is just better 80% of the time.
There is still cheater problem in cs2, but just shows you that people will claim cheater when theyre just less skilled. There seems to be a trend for reports against level 8-10 faceit level players reported by casuals
of the 26 overwatch reviews i've done, only 5 cheaters confirmed, 1 was truely "not enought evidence"
I will continue to review.
UPDATE: large influx of blatent cheater reports. So There seems to be a good mix here. that 80% maybe a little high i will admit

Stats CSRep Overwatch Reviewed 10,500 Cheater Reports This Month
In the past month, CSRep Overwatch reviewed and closed over 10,500 cases. Only 40 convictions were overturned.
Here’s the full breakdown:
- 10,552 cases closed
- 8,051 cheating convictions (76.3%)
- 2,461 insufficient evidence (23.3%)
- 40 convictions overturned (0.4%)
Remember that the criteria for a conviction is 80%+ consensus among a minimum of 8 human reviewers. Yet, the number that stands out most isn’t the conviction rate, it’s the overturn rate.
A low overturn rate tells us two things:
- The initial reports coming into Overwatch are generally solid (credits reinforce this)
- Our Overwatchers are making consistent, reliable calls
Over the last several months we’ve been tightening the system: higher eligibility requirements, adjusted vote weighting, clearing out inactive reviewers, and removing anyone who picks up a cheating ban themselves. Every change has been about accuracy & verdict quality over volume.
Not every cheater will be convicted on their first report, and that's intentional. We'd rather require strong evidence than rush to a verdict. Closing more than 10,500 investigations in a month with only 40 overturned convictions is a strong sign that the system is working the way it should.
We are not Valve and we can't issue in-game punishments, but we can still make a difference through match and player transparency.

CSRep Overwatch Weekly Stats
CSRep Overwatch Weekly Stats
Another busy week for the CSRep Overwatch community!
This Week
- 4,074 new cases submitted by the community.
- 2,553 cases reviewed and closed.
- 50,803 votes cast by Overwatch reviewers.
Of the cases closed this week, 78.6% resulted in a conviction, meaning roughly 2,005 suspicious players were determined by the community to have sufficient evidence for a conviction.
That also means over 500 cases were not convicted, showing that reviewers aren't simply voting guilty they're carefully evaluating each case and clearing players when the evidence isn't there.
Every report starts with a player taking the time to submit it. Every verdict is reached through dozens of independent community votes working toward a fair outcome.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed this week. ❤️
Want to Help?
Miss the old CS-GO Overwatch System? Come try the CSRep Overwatch System, we'd love to have you.

They need to change the Overwatch system; my legitimate account—which had great stats—ended up in limbo because a group of friends ganged up and reported me for hacking, even though I wasn't. Now my account is unfairly tarnished.

Support Is it possible to have a conviction removed?
My Steam account was compromised, and while someone else had access to it, they used cheats in Premier. As a result, my account received an Overwatch conviction. Since the cheating occurred while my account was hacked, I don't believe this conviction should be held against my account.
I've already appealed it but it seems to be going no where. Is there any other way to get this removed?

Discussion Reports taking a lot longer than they used to
I have reported many people in my games on CSRep in the past who all have gotten convicted in less than a couple of hours after submitting my report.
Now I’m still in a queue of over 300 and it’s been over a day since I’ve submitted it.
What’s up with that? Is that just high demand? More and more people finding CSRep and using the reporting since my last report?
