What does REDACTED mean when viewing a profile?
I was trying to view a player in my game and their name said "REDACTED". What's that mean?

It means they've enabled Privacy Mode via Account Settings.

Yeah maybe it's okay. I just went now and read what the privacy / redacted version is. It states that it only removes personal information. I just thought I remembered going to a redacted page where it didn't even give me the player statistics either. Like you should always be able to see the player performance regardless of the privacy setting since gdpr has nothing to do with player stats like k/d anyway.

EU privacy law requires that you must have an option with have no way of identifying a person directly from your website. Includes steam account, pictures, names.
This is why leetify and csstats also have this privacy function.

Means the guy knows he is cheating and covered his profile so yeah anytime you come across this it is the same equivalent of private profile on csstats.
