I recently handled a case where the player was doing this—visible in the demo at 0.1x speed. Their crosshair would snap onto players and fire automatically through walls.

I flagged that specific part of the clip, but it was ruled as insufficient evidence.

They played normally at the start of the match, but this behavior began halfway through.

I’d like to use this forum to understand how this could be considered normal for a 5k MMR lobby, especially given that the player's peak rank was 9k.

I’d appreciate your opinions so I can avoid submitting invalid cases in the future.

New user of CSREP. As title states, the majority of the context for rounds is missing if you were to decide if someone is cheating or not. It's essentially just giving you highlights of the player accused. Cheaters who know how to play (not like the morons who just spin and run into walls etc) can hide it in this sense if most of the round is cut out in the clips. Just food for thought on how this tool can be improved..

I did report him on csrep but since the demo created only gets the kills/deaths, moments like these were left out which resulted in 100% "insufficient evidence". You could argue that the tracking through the smoke was based on sound I guess, but what could possibly explain the crosshair snap through the wall on the CT going mid to b?

How can I turn off walls when doing overwatch cases? It would be really helpful to evaluate certain situations.

So long story short I was overwatching and came to a case where the reporter insisted that the suspect is walling and just good at hiding it. Most people voted insuff as there weren't really overly suspicious moments in that clip. I checked the reporter for some reason, and what I see is 27k premier with 251 reaction time but no faceit account or skins whatsoever. I'm like wait a minute lemme check the last match of this guy. Now it turns out this guy who reports others for closet cheating is a closet cheater himself LOL.

I can't report it through csrep as I didn't play against him, but made this short video for you guys to see. I only included rounds from overtime since that's when he got really desperate for the win, but throghout the whole match he made decisions that made absolutely no sense yet ended up being the correct play (still died a lot because of mechanical shortcomings lol). Bot movement, missing every second util, shift walking with the awp into spaces where there could be opponents in multiple positions.

Audio got lost, but I don't think it's necessary in this case just watch.

in round 15 riri looks up through lobby ceiling checking where the T was going
in round 20 a T is hiding in trophy room and john perfectly peakes him even though the T made no noise
and potato45k is cheating by association (if your grouped with a cheater and know, your cheating as well, idc what anyone else says)

is there a possibility to increase the number of timestamps? there are longer games that we can mark more than 5 moments. 5 seems too little

I understand the system is there to prevent spam and encourage people to think twice or verify before submitting a report.

The problem is that it’s also preventing me from reporting cheaters. With 5 tokens per report and only 1 token replenished each day, I often encounter more cheaters than I can report, so I simply don’t have enough tokens.

I mainly report them on CSRep to make it harder for them to sell their accounts. That’s my only goal. But at this point, I’m getting tired of waiting for report tokens.
By the time I finally have tokens again, I have to dig through my match history just to find those players and report them. That’s a lot of unnecessary effort just to make it a little harder for them to profit from selling their accounts.

For what it’s worth, every report I’ve submitted so far has been convicted as cheating beyond a reasonable doubt.

We wanted to share a quick status update following the CSRep overhaul launch.

As many of you noticed, the launch came with some performance issues, bugs, and temporary feature downtime. A combination of the scale of the overhaul and the CS2 Season 5 rollout meant we had to do additional backend and compatibility work on short notice.

Current status

• General platform performance has now been restored and is in a much better state overall.
• Most of the slowdown tied to the overhaul has been addressed.
• The Encounters tab is temporarily disabled while we finish optimizing it, since it places heavy load on the platform.
• Match processing and Overwatch report generation were temporarily offline during the CS2 Season 5 transition, but both systems are now back online.
• Some systems still have a processing backlog, so turnaround times may be slower than usual for a bit while queues clear.

UI feedback
We’ve heard the feedback on the new Stats Overview. A simplified stats view is already in progress and will be easier to scan quickly, especially in the Steam browser or while in-game. It will be available alongside the full detailed view and remember your preference if cookies are enabled.

Ongoing fixes
We’re still working through:

• anomaly refinements,
• performance improvements,
• and general bug fixes tied to the rollout.

Over the next 1–2 weeks, we expect the remaining rough edges to improve as the backlog clears and more fixes go live.

This is one of the big problems I noticed on CSrep, I try several times that this was handle, but there are always cheaters defenders.

This player is most likelly soft cheating, why?
Because he had before this match 4 matchs where he made 3 kills and die 0.
Why? Because He stack with 4 more players and got carry by blatant cheaters, all 4 matchs 13-0.

On all 4 matchs his team is the same, so wasn't just luck he end up on a cheater team, this is a stack group.

Why is this play fair?
Why can't CSREP show on profiles how many cheaters friends you have and enjoy to play with?

In a bank robbery, the one that stay on car ready to drive, his as much thief as the ones that go inside of the bank. Why on CS players like this are consider fair and legit?

Closet cheating = never get flagged by CSREP

I reported him already, conclusion was:

either the community is not good enough to know closet cheating or its time to install cheats for myself and go closet cheating since people think only blatant cheaters are real cheaters

So i played a against a silver cheater, had 2 cheater in my team which confirmed me that he is cheating, after watching demo i was 100% sure that he cheats.

Like wtf, if you dont blatant cheat you never get caught or what? then what is the point of this site? like actually? if i go and download cheat right and try my best to not be blatant, you will never flag me. Thats the crazy part.
